  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the Age of Air and the Local Air-change Effectiveness of by field measurement. The indexes of Age of Air and Local Air-change Effectiveness are used to analyze the local ventilation effectiveness of multiple locations and are mainly evaluated using the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method. In this study, measurement of the Local Air-change Effectiveness was based on ASHRAE 129. The performance of Local Air-change Effectiveness and the dependence of the outlet location on Local Air-change Effectiveness were analyzed. The results showed that a greater air-change rate (ACH) may not guarantee better local ventilation effectiveness.

  • The conductive polymers, polyaniline (PANI) emeralidin base and 3,4-polyethylene dioxythiophene(PEDOT) were synthesized and coated on the PET film dealt with acryl type primer to study the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness. When both PANI and PEDOT were coated on the PET film dealt with acryl type priemer, their surface properties such as he adhesive increased. For PANI, when blended with the binder such as PMMA, it adhesive and surface hardness increased, too. The visible light transmittance decreased, while the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness increased, when coated thickness of PANI and PEDOT increased. For PANI, the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness increased as its surface resistance decreased. For PANI, when the surface resistance was 140 Ω/$\square$, the shielding effectiveness was found to be 11 dB in the far field, and 13 dB in the near field at 1 GHz. For PEDOT, when the surface resistance was 200 Ω/$\square$, the shielding effectiveness was found to be 3 dB in the far field, and 7dB in the near field.

  • Since 1970, herbicides have been widely used in the crop production, especially in paddy field in Korea. In 1978, both preemergence and postemergence type herbicides are applied in the approximately 70% of total paddy field and 15% of upland to control weeds. Most herbicides control annual weeds effectively, but perennials have been problems in the paddy field. Under upland conditions, effectiveness of herbicides varies depending on many environmental conditions (soil moisture, soil physical properties, temperature, etc.) as well as uniform application of appropriate amounts of herbicides. In Korea, many research works have been concentrated on the screening of new herbicides in terms of herbicide effectiveness and yield or phytotoxicity of crops, and especially on the paddy field. However, physiological aspects of herbicidal action in plant and interaction of herbicides with the environments have not been studied approximately. Therefore, researches on the uptake of herbicides and the influence of herbicides on the physiological phenomena such as photosynthesis, respiration, nutrient uptake etc., to control troublesome perennial weeds in the paddy field are needed in future. Also some researches are needed to improve effectiveness of herbicirdes under upland conditions.

When conductive polymer such as PANI and PEDOT is used, if the thickness of coating increases then the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness increases, too, but the visible light transmittance decreases. For PANI, when its conductivity increased, its electromagnetic shielding effectiveness increased, too. For PANI, if the surface resistance is about 140 $\Omega$/$\square$, the shielding effectiveness is about 11 dB in the far field, and about 13 dB in the near field at 1 GHz. • In this paper, the effects of educational contents on job behavior, the effects of job behavior on job effectiveness and the effects of educational contents on job effectiveness were studied when working in the Software field. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on the learning workers who conducted the training in the IT field, and 302 valid questionnaires were used for the analysis. The research model was set up to test exploratory factor and confirmatory factor analysis and hypothesis, and the research hypothesis was tested by applying structural equation. The effects of job behavior on job effectiveness were positively related to job satisfaction, customer orientation, and organizational commitment.

  • This paper presents the shielding effectiveness for the IEC 61000-2-9 standard when HEMP source penetrates through an aperture in a planar conducting plane of infinite extent. An integral equation is derived and solved by applying Galerkin's method of moments for calculating the electric shielding effectiveness. The electric shielding effectiveness is examined based on changing the aperture length and width. It is shown that the electric shielding effectiveness is suddenly decreases as the aperture width of 0.4 ~ 0.45${\lambda}$. It is also found that the penetrated electric field for the IEC 61000-2-9 incident field is different from the Bell Laboratory incident field, but the frequency characteristic of the electric shielding effectiveness becomes the same shape.

  • A shielding effectiveness of mesh screen filter of plasma display panel (PDP) has been calculated in this paper. Since the screen filter is located near the radiation source, the near field wave impedance of the radiation source, i.e., the PDP electrodes, has been considered to calculate the shielding effectiveness. The near field shielding effectiveness of screen filter at 30${\sim}$300 MHz has been estimated to be more than 65${\sim}$80 dB. The measured shielding effectiveness of screen filter is 10${\sim}$50 dB at 30${\sim}$300 MHz[1]. The resulting discrepancy indicates that there are other EMI emission sources such as emission from PCB and cable besides the PDP electrodes.
