Aim & Scope
Biomolecules & Therapeutics (Biomolecules & Therapeutics) (Print ISSN 1976-9148, Online ISSN 2005-4483) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that covers pharmacological and toxicological fields related to bioactive molecules and therapeutics. It was launched in 1993 as "The Journal of Applied Pharmacology (ISSN 1225-6110)", and renamed "Biomolecules & Therapeutics" (Biomol Ther: abbreviated form) in 2008 (Volume 16, No. 1). It is published bimonthly in January, March, May, July, September and November. All manuscripts should be creative, informative, and contribute to the development of new drugs. Articles in the following categories are published: review articles and research articles. The articles published in this journal are indexed and/or abstracted in: Science Citation Index Expanded®, PubMed/PubMed Central® (PMC), BIOSIS Previews®, Biological Abstracts® (Thomson ISI), and SCOPUS (Elsevier). Each article is made available under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/) which permits unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. Papers focusing on clinical pharmacy or clinical pharmacology are not appropriate for Biomolecules & Therapeutics. Manuscripts based on experiments conducted with crude extracts will not be considered for peer review unless the manuscript provides the chemical profiles, specifications, and concentrations to assure the consistency of the quality of the crude extract using its authentic standard compound(s) together with its patent information (patented or applied for a patent).
