Effect of a Career Education Program Using Portfolio on Career Maturity and Self-Efficacy of Female College Students

이 논문에서 우리는 포트폴리오를 활용한 진로교육 프로그램이 여대생의 진로성숙도와 자기효능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 제안하고자 한다. 연구 대상은 K 여자대학교 76명을 대상으로 프로그램 사전·사후 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 포트폴리오를 활용한 진로교육 프로그램은 여대생의 진로성숙도의 하위요인 가운데 계획성, 자기 이해, 합리적 의사결정, 희망 직업에 대한 지식, 진로탐색 및 진로준비에서 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 자기효능감의 하위요인 가운데 자신감, 자기조절효능감, 과제난이도 선호에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이와 같은 결과는 포트폴리오를 활용한 진로교육 프로그램이 여대생의 진로성숙도와 자기효능감 향상에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 여대생들의 진로성숙도와 자기효능감을 향상시키기 위해서는 포트폴리오를 활용한 진로교육 프로그램으로 지역사회에 다양한 기관을 방문하여 인터뷰를 통해서 진로에 필요한 실제적인 정보를 수집하고 취업에 도움이 되는 자격증 및 활동들을 알고 구체적으로 진로 준비를 할 수 있도록 지원해야 한다. 그리고 대학 내에서 학생들을 위해 직업탐색 활동, 성격유형검사, 직업적성검사 등을 통해서 자신을 이해하고 진로에 대한 자신감을 갖도록 도와야 할 것이다.

In this paper, we would like to propose how career education programs using portfolios affect female college students' career maturity and self-efficacy. The subjects of the study were pre- and post-examination of 76 students from K Women's University. As a result of the study, career education programs using portfolios showed significant differences in planning, self-understanding, rational decision-making, knowledge of the desired job, career exploration, and career preparation among the sub-factors of self-efficacy, and significant differences in confidence, self-regulation efficacy, and task difficulty preference. These results show that career education programs using portfolios have a statistically significant effect on female college students' career maturity and self-efficacy. To improve the career maturity and self-efficacy of female college students, they should visit various institutions in the community through career education programs using portfolios, collect practical information necessary for careers through interviews, know certificates and activities that help them get a job, and specifically prepare for careers. In addition, it is necessary to help students understand themselves and gain confidence in their careers through job search activities, personality type tests, and occupational aptitude tests for students in the university.
