Characteristics of newly bred oak mushroom cultivar 'K815' for Sawdust Cultivation

Abstract

A new oak mushroom cultivar 'K815' was bred from monokaryotic strains of 'Jadam-2' and 'LE191732-118'. The optimal temperature for mycelial growth of 'K815' was 25℃, and the temperature for primordia formation and fruiting body development was 15~20℃. The fruiting body morphology is hemispherical and the fruiting form is sporadic. Total cultivation period of the new cultivar, from inoculation to its first harvest, was 133 days, which was 3 days longer than control cultivar 'Jadam' (129 days), with 32 days for spawn running, 89 days for browning, 4 days for primordia formation, and 8 days for fruiting body development. In the fruiting body, the thickness and diameter of pileus of the new cultivar were 32.2 mm and 58.3mm, respectively, and the length of stipe was 35.6 mm. Compared to the control cultivar ('Jadam', 'L808'), the pileus of the new cultivar was thicker and smaller and the length of stipe was shorter. The total number of fruiting bodies of 'K815' was 58.9, which was higher than the control varieties and total yield of 2 crop cycle of 'K815' was 580 g (per 3 kg substrate), which was similar to the control variety.

표고 톱밥재배용 우수 품종의 육성을 위해 우량계통의 단포자 교배를 통해 육성된 품종 'K815'의 주요 특성은 다음과 같다. 'K815'의 균사생장 적온은 25℃, 발이 및 생육온도는 15~20℃이었으며, 자실체 형태는 평반구형이며, 발생형태는 산발형이다. 'K815'은 배양기간 32일, 갈변기간은 89일로 '자담'에 비해서는 배양기간이 4일 길고, 발이기간은 4일, 생육기간 12일로 각각 나타났다. 'K815'의 갓 두께와 직경은 각각 32 mm, 58 mm로 대조품종 '자담'및 'L808'에 비해서 갓은 두껍고 직경은 작으며, 대길이는 36 mm로 대조품종에 비해 짧은 것으로 나타났다. 'K815'의 총발이수는 58.9개로 대조품종들('자담', 'L808')에 비해 발이량이 많으며, 2주기 합산 총수량은 580g으로 대조품종과 유사하였다.
