Development of Portable IoT Device for Lifesaving

인명 구조용 휴대형 IoT 단말기 개발

Abstract

In this paper, we developed a portable IoT device for lifesaving and a web service prototype based on the device and evaluated its functions. The portable IoT terminal for lifesaving is designed for easy to carry, and to communicate possibly between user by LTE Cat. M1 modem which is a low-power broadband IoT communication technology. So, in case of emergency, it is possible to give priority to nearby users and to determine the exact location with built-in GPS. In the future, it will be designed to enable rescue requests in various ways, such as button signals, voice, and acceleration changes.

본 연구에서는 인명구조용 휴대형 IoT 단말기와 이를 기반으로 하는 웹서비스 프로토타입을 개발하고 그 기능을 평가하였다. 인명구조용 휴대형 IoT 단말기는 휴대가 용이하고, 저전력 광대역 IoT 통신기술인 LTE Cat.M1 모뎀을 사용하여 사용자 간 통신이 가능하여 긴급상황 발생 시 근접지 사용자의 우선 구조가 가능하고, GPS가 내장되어 정확한 위치 파악이 용이하도록 설계하였다. 향후 버튼 신호, 음성, 가속도 변화 등 다양한 방식으로 구조 요청도 가능하도록 개발할 계획이다.
