Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the Immaterial Modification of urban renewal plan. Immaterial Modification is introduced for simplification of administration and rationalization of regulation. However "Immaterial" always does not mean insignificant and there are still not specific standards of Immateriality. This study surveys the recent immaterial modification cases and classify those by characteristics and stakeholders. The main Immaterial Modifications are eleven articles and the factors are drawn by 4 categories. The 4 categories are Administrative Error, Related Planning Changes, Review Committee and Implementor's Decision. In conclusion the Immaterial Modification by administrative error and related planning changes are very helpful to simplification of administration and rationalization of regulation. However the Immaterial Modification by review committee and implementor's decision have various contents and ranges so more detailed indexes and criteria should be needed.
