Comparison of Quality of CPR between Knee Protection and No Knee Protection in CPR

심폐소생술 시 무릎보호를 한 경우와 하지 않는 경우 간의 심폐소생술의 질 비교

Abstract

This study was carried out examine the difference in the quality of CPR between knee protection and no knee protection when CPR is performed with mannequin on the floor covered with laminated paper. Subjects of the research were 48 experimental group and 56 control group who were college students in G province and U metropolitan city and completed AHA BLS Provider Course from Apr. 20 to Nov. 15, 2009. This study made knee pad(material: polyester 100%, thickness: 2.5cm, width 16cm${\times}$length 17cm) to protect knee for experimental treatment and measurement of CPR quality was connected with Resusci Anne(Leardal, Norway) mannequin and the results of CPR were recorded with Resusci Anne $Skillreporter^{TM}$(Leardal, Norway). Collected data were analyzed by SPSS/PC+(version 14.0). In conclusion, knee protection in CPR on the floor covered with laminated paper showed higher quality of CPR than that of no knee protection regardless of sex, height and weight.

본 연구는 장판재질의 바닥에 마네킹을 놓고 심폐소생술 시행 시 무릎보호를 한 경우와 하지 않는 경우 간에 심폐소생술의 질에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상자는 2009년 4월 20일부터 11월 15일까지 AHABLS Provider Course를 이수한 G도, U광역시 대학생들로 실험군 48명, 대조군 56명으로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 실험 처치를 위해 무릎을 보호할 수 있는 무릎보호대(재질: 폴리에스터 100%, 두께: 2.5cm, 가로: 16cm${\times}$세로: 17cm)를 제작하였으며, 심폐소생술 질 측정도구는 Resusci Anne(Leardal, Norway) 마네킹과 연결하여 Resusci Anne SkillreporterTM(Leardal, Norway)로 심폐소생술 시행 결과를 기록하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/PC+(version 14.0)을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 장판재질의 바닥에서 심폐소생술을 시행 시 무릎보호를 한 경우가 성별, 신장과 체중에 상관없이 심폐소생술의 질이 더 우수하였다.
