IEEE 802.11 무선 랜에서 EDCA 방식의 음성 서비스에 대한 기존 DCF 단말의 영향 분석

초록

본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11 무선 랜의 QoS 보장을 위해 EDCA 방식의 MAC 프로토콜을 이용해서 음성 서비스를 수행하는 경우 기존의 MAC 프로토콜인 DCF 방식을 사용하는 단말들로 인해 발생하는 음성 서비스의 영향을 시뮬레이션을 통해서 알아본다. DCF 방식 단말들이 존재 할 때 음성 서비스의 QoS를 유지하는 최대 음성 세션수를 lEEE 802.11b와 IEEE 802.11a의 물리계층을 사용하는 경우에 대해서 각각 알아본다.

The EDCA scheme in IEEE 802.11 MAC protocols was adopted to support QoS of each traffic. The impact of legacy DCF stations on EDCA voice service is studied using extensive simulations. The maximum number of voice sessions are obtained in cases that IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11a physical layers are used.
