Abstract
With recent advancement of the medical imaging systems and picture archiving and communication system (PACS), installation of digital radiography has been accelerated over past few years. Moreover, Computed Radiography (CR) which was well established for the foundation of digital x-ray imaging systems at low cost was widely used for clinical applications. This study analyzes imaging characteristics for two systems with different pixel sizes through the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF), Noise Power Spectrum (NPS) and Detective Quantum Efficiency (DQE). In addition, influence of radiation dose to the imaging characteristics was also measured by quantitative assessment. A standard beam quality RQA5 based on an international electro-technical commission (IEC) standard was used to perform the x-ray imaging studies. 최근 의료영상저장 및 전송 시스템(Picture Archiving and Communication System, PACS)의 발전과 함께 디지털 영상의 발전이 가속화되면서, 특히 기존의 아날로그 시스템을 활용할 수 있는 컴퓨터 X-선 촬영(Computed Radiography, CR)의 활용도가 높아졌다. 본 연구에서는 실제 임상에서 사용되고 있는 Agfa CR system (Agfa CR 2.5; Agfa, Belgium)과 Fuji CR system (FCR 9000C; Full, Japan)을 이용하여 영상의 정량적 평가에 널리 사용되고 있는 변조전달함수(Modulation Transfer Function, MTF), 잡음력 스펙트럼(Noise Power Spectrum, NPS), 양자검출효율(Detective Quantum Efficiency, DQE)를 통해 시스템간의 성능 비교 및 I.P (Imaging Plate) 크기별 픽셀 크기 차이 및 선량의 변화에 의한 화질영향을 정량적으로 평가하였다. X-선 영상 획득실험을 위하여 국제표준인 IEC 61267에서 제공하는 RQA5의 선질(Additional Filter
