본 연구는 국내산 논우렁이를 이용하여 남조류 Microcystis aeruginosa에 대한 섭식율 (grazing rate, GR) 및 배설물 생산(pseudofaeces production)을 분석하였다. 섭식 효과를 확인하기 위해 다양한 시간, 개체크기, 개체밀도, 먹이농도 조건 하에서 실험하였다. 모든 실험은 3반복되었으며 실험수는 매년 M. aeruginosa가 빈번하게 발생하는 일감호(서울소재)의 현장수를 이용하였다. 실험결과, 논우렁이는 투입 후 1시간 후에 0.538L
Grazing rates (GR) and pseudofaeces production (PFP) of native snail, Chinese mystery snail (Cipangopaludina chinensis malleata Reeve) on natural colonial morphs of Microcystis aeruginosa was measured. C. chinensis was collected from the upstream of the Geum River (Boryeong, Korea), where they co-habituated with Unio douglasiae and Lanceolaria acrorhyncha. The experiments were performed to evaluate the GR and PFP at different conditions such as; incubation time (1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 hr), body size (3 to 6.1 cm, n=28), snail density (0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2.0 ind.
