Abstract
Evodiae Fructus has been used in traditional medicine for the treatment of gastro- intestinal disorders, headache and migraine, and as a cardiotonic and analgesic. For the quality control of this crude drug, evodiamine was isolated from the methylene chloride extract of Evodia officinalis (Rutaceae) and identified by the spectroscopic evidences.
