Strategy of Establishing GIS for Social Facility in Korea

한국의 사회기반시설물 GIS 구축 방안

Due to the rapid civilization, the need for social facilities is increasing. When these facilities controlled by the integrated facility management system (GIS), various adverse situations such as emergencies, inconvenience of the public and duplication of construction cost can be improved. In this study, the types of information for GIS which may be needed by the facility management agencies are investigated and analyzed. Based on this information, major components for the integrated facility management system including standard format of digital map, basemap scales, and basemap management methods are established.

급속한 도시화와 더불어 도시화의 기반이 되는 막대한 사회기반시설물이 필요하게 되었다. 현재 시설물 관리기관별로 관리되고 있는 전화, 전기, 가스, 상하수도 등과 같은 사회기반시설물이 전체적인 입장에서 조정될 수 있다면 응급상황발생시 효율적으로 대처할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 이들 시설물의 유지관리시 발생되는 공사비 중복 및 주민의 불편을 상당부분 해소할 수 있게 될 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 우리나라의 사회기반시설물을 관리하고 있는 기관의 시설물 관리업무를 조사하여 GIS구축시 기초자료가 되는 기관별 업무수행시 조사항목을 체계적으로 정리하였으며, 기관별로 활용하고 있는 도면 및 장부를 함께 조사분석하여 시설물 관리에 필요한 수치코드 표준화방안, 기본도에 포함되어야할 사항, 기본도의 축척, 기본도 관리기관 및 기본도 운영방법 등을 제시하였다.
