Abstract

This is an overview of the TEST which effects on the development of thesaurus. Such term relations, display methods, classification schemes for the conventions of the thesaurus development are explained. This conventions of the TEST also effected on the ANSI guideline as well as UNESCO guideline for the thesaurus development. This explains on the development of microthesaurus through its application of TEST.

시소러스의 개발에 많은 영향을 미친 TEST에 대하여 개관하였다. 즉, TEST의 개발과정과 TEST에서 채택하고 있는 용어관계(用語關係)의 종류(種類), 표시방법(表示方法), 주제분류표 등에 관한 시소러스 개발을 위한 기준을 설명하고 있다. 이 기준(基準)은 1970년대에 작성된 시소러스 개발을 위한 ANSI 가이드라인 및 UNESCO 가이드라인에도 많은 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 매크로 시소러스인 TEST를 활용하여 각 기관의 요구에 대응하여 사용할 수 있는 마이크로 시소러스의 개발에 대해서도 기술하고 있다.
