Abstract

Serials have always presented special problems since they are issued continuously and also they can change their title, frequency, publisher, etc. This paper discusses the current serials publication as well as the future trends of serials. Particular emphasis is placed on issues relating to the proliferation, scattering, increasing price, variations and furthermore CD- ROM which will have a direct impact on serials publishing.

연속간행물(連續刊行物)은 연속적으로 간행(刊行)되고 또한 표제나 간기 등에 변동사항이 발생하므로 인하여 매우 다양한 문제(問題)들을 야기시킨다. 본고(本稿)는 연속간행물(連續刊行物)의 현황(現況)과 미래(未來)를 살펴보았으며, 특히 잡지(雜誌) 종수의 증가, 논문(論文)의 분산(分散), 가격(價格)의 인상, 서지사항(書誌事項)의 변동, 그리고 연속간행물(連續刊行物)의 미래에 직접적인 충격을 가져올 것으로 예상되는 CD-ROM에 관하여 논하였다.
