Abstract
It has been known that the values of soil resistance drops when a high impulse current is injected into a grounding electrode. In this study, the electrical characteristics of medium grain size sand to different water contents are investigated. The results were discussed based on its voltage and current traces, impulse resistances and I-V curve.
