Abstract
Closed loop stability of Extended Dynamic Matrix Control (EDMC) is investigated for limited sampling time. Linear approximation of the sensitivity functions is employed in the derivation of the stability condition. It is shown that the closed loop system will be stable if the control moves suppression coefficient
