Abstract
The heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of R718 flowing in smooth horizontal copper tubes with inner diameter of 3.36 mm, 5.35 mm, 6.54 mm and 8.12 mm were investigated. The test section is a counterflow heat exchanger with refrigerant flowing in the inner tube and water flowing in the annulus.
