랜드스케이프 개념 재유형화에 따른 한국현대건축의 경향분석 (Trend Analysis of Contemporary Korean Architecture according to the recategorization of the notion of Landscape)

  • It has been a recent phenomenon over 1980-1990s that the notion of Landscape has had significant position in contemporary architecture. And the execution range isn't limited to a certain area but is extended to various areas. Under such influence of trend of the times, various architectural attempts in which landscape notion is applied have been tried by the group of architects of our country which are mainly composed of young architects. This study aims to derive the features of landscape appearing in our contemporary architecture by analyzing how Landscape notion is embodied in our Landscape architecture which are claiming the expression of Landscape notion as nature, human beings and view. The purpose of the study is to suggest the limitation and the direction to go through of Korean Landscape architecture through the analysis of such features. Through the recategorization of the Landscape notion, this study reviews the features in detail shown in buildings in Heyily Art Valley which were built strongly based on the expression of the Landscape notion, the art works in Paju City of Publishing Industry and other Landscape buildings. The findings of the review show that Landscape architectural notion has been attempted not only in a certain facilities but also in various genres of architecture. And also it shows that the expression of Landscape notion is performed not by various ways but by only limited ones which are preferred.

  • 패러디는 예술적 표현 형식의 하나로 인정받고 있고 그 활용도는 나날이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 법령 또는 판례에 명확한 규정이 없다. 패러디는 보통 원저작자의 이용허락을 받지 않고 만들어지기 때문에 저작권법 침해 논란을 늘 수반하게 된다. 우리 헌법에서는 표현의 자유와 예술의 자유를 보장하고 있지만, 또 저작자의 권리도 보호하고 있다. 이 기본권 충돌 문제를 어떻게 해결할 것인가가 쟁점이다. 헌법이 추구하는 기본 가치와 저작권법의 목적인 문화의 향상발전이라는 견지에서 패러디에 관한 다양한 논의가 전개되어야 한다.

  • De Stijl in order to began in the Netherlands in 1917 is an art movement that becomes the theoretical background of modernism design was the foundation geometric abstraction. Steel design for that they offered a new paradigm at that time art, in various fields such as industrial design is still applied, especially works of De Stijl in the design area of urniture it became the beginning of the modern furniture. The starting point of this study is to analyze the two-dimensional representation characteristics to understand the background of the formation with the basic concepts of De Stijl. Therefore the generation of the surface to be displayed in the work of De Stijl and to analyze the divided element, and not if learn their expression characteristics. Also the line and the plane of the two-dimensional modeling properties of De Stijl, after described colors, and studied the characteristics of De Stjil writers for typical analyzes the moldability shown in their work, which based on, we try to present a new representation technique.

A Study on the Mechanical Change of Emulsion-Treated Hair by Color

  • With the increasing interest in the expression of individuality and appearance of modern people, it is time to conduct research and development of novel hair coloring from various angles. Therefore, taking into account the order of discoloration of hair pigments, we selected a creative and novel emulsion as a novel material for hair coloring, rather than a cosmetic material such as hot water extract using natural products dealt with in previous studies, commercially available hair manicure, and oxidation hair dye for hair. Thus, the change in tensile strength and elongation of hair samples by color was studied. As a result of the study, hair with green emulsion paint had a significantly higher maximum load, maximum stress, maximum elongation and breaking load, breaking stress, breaking elongation values are shown. Maximum in terms of modulus, green emulsion applied hair and the control group were higher in the 0-15s strain and 15-145s sections, respectively, and the tangential modulus value was much higher in the control group than the experimental group hairs in all the 0-145s sections. This study, which analyzes the dynamic changes of hair samples that extend the daily color gamut, will greatly contribute to the development of innovative hair coloring materials in the research and production of hair beauty works, and it is judged that it will also contribute to the development of the beauty industry.

입체조형 실습을 연계한 가구디자인 수업 개발을 위한 사례연구 (Study on Process Development of Furniture Design Class by Fusing 3D Form Study)

  • 3D form study is one of basic subjects in industrial design education. There are an array of textbooks of visual art, design and architecture, most of which address basic geometrical form study and abstract forms. With the introduction of computerization, current trends are directed to reduce basic form education and students' participation in classes and their accomplishments. This study was intended to develop works under a theme of furniture design with concrete shapes and functions. This study focused on developing relevant process by fusing 3D form study and furniture design which fall into basic design and design studio subjects, respectively. Among 3D form studies, applied were a concept of 3D configuration that explores the relations between surface forms and 3D forms. Furniture design is a challenge to students at beginner or intermediate level in basic design education from initial devising stage to production in kind. To ease high level of difficulties at designing and producing stages, technical education was systematized in the process of conceptualizing, developing idea and production. This type of challenge was carried out during separate semesters, along with a case study done to develop different types of challenges. This study helped students to be motivated and actively participate in classes and well perform advanced form study and technical training from design to actual production.

  • 직조는 예술과 기술과의 상호 관계에 관심을 가지고 있는 디자이너에게 이상적인 연구 대상이다. 특히, 이중적인 4종광 이상의 제제에서 만들 수 있는 두 겹 직물로서 여러 가지 목적 및 기능에 따라 광폭 직물, 양면 무늬 직물, 등 특수 직물을 생산하기 위해 산업에서 사용되고 있다. 그러나 가 지니고 있는 매력적인 특징은 미적 이 요구되는 섬유 작업에서 의견로서 다양하게 응용되어질 수 있다. 본 논문은 문헌 자료와 sample 제작을 통해 이중 직의 개념과 종류 및 특징을 설명하였으며 이중 직을 연구한 작가들의 대표적 작품들을 분석함으로써 기법이 가지고 있는 잠재적 특성을 강조하였다. 이중 직 기법은 구조 및 의견 에 따라 다양한 이미지를 나타낼 수 있으므로 직조가 들이 기술에 의한 독특한 표현을 하여 시킬 수 있는 창조 적을 제시하고 있다.

A Study on the Design Development of Lady′s Down Wear

  • The rapid development of science technology during the 20th century has greatly lowered the hours for labour, thus giving members of society extra time for leisure. With the increasement of leisure activities, sports casual wear has become one of the foremost leading items in the fashion industry, and among such sports casual, down wear has become the F/W season's most popular item. Because it generates high profits, many recognize it as a very important factor in lady's wear. Since the 1990's, down wear was widely applied to various sections of lady's, men's, and children's wear, and it has ceased to be limited to sports casual only. The purpose of this study was to fully understand the characteristics of down, and to develop crossover garments design desired not only in the F/W season but also the S/S season. It has been taken into consideration that many restrictions in sewing technique and material selection in manufacturing down as a fashion product exist when choosing a means of manufacture. That was why this study focused on the history and characteristics of down while analysing the works of domestic and foreign designers to concretely applicate them in fashion products. This study has divided the resulting down wear products according to consumer preference: vest, jacket, coat, one-piece, and skirt to applicate design manufacture of lady's wear in general, while designing and making artistically expressed down wear. There were 48 works developed as a result of this study, of which 41 were ready-to-wear, and the remaining 7 works were creative art wear.

3D 프린팅 기술을 융합한 도자디자인 사례 연구 (A case study of ceramic design that combines 3D printing technology)

  • 본 연구는 3D 프린팅 기술에 대한 이론적 고찰과 이를 창의적으로 작품에 접목시킨 도자작품 사례분석을 통하여 3D 프린팅 기술이 도자작품의 조형성과, 예술적 가치에 미치는 영향을 재조명고자 하였다. 이에 작가 7인과 두 디자인팀의 도자작품 사례분석으로 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 3D 프린팅 기술을 작품에 접목시킨 디지털제작은 기존의 수작업 방식과 달리 데이터 응용 및 변경이 가능하여 작가의 개성 있는 창작 예술품이 가능하다. 둘째, 새로운 소재와 방식, 첨단 디지털기술로 기존의 도자개념을 벗어난 보다 입체적이고 다채로운 조형물로 표현의 새로운 패러다임을 만들어 나가고 있었다. 앞으로 3D 프린팅에 대한 계속적인 연구와 활용으로 발전하는 디지털 기술에 부합하는 새로운 방법론을 찾아내고 실현하여, 미적 가치와 아름다움을 가진 도자디자인의 새로운 가치가 재창조되기를 기대해본다.

현대패션에 표현된 패치워크의 표현특성 (Expressive Characteristics of Patchwork Shown in Modern Fashion)

  • This study was conducted to examine how patchwork was expressed in fashion based on theoretical background on its brief history and expression styles and to show its possibility of creating ways for new expression in modern fashion. This study reviewed literatures on definition, history and styles of patchwork and investigated mainly works, which had been presented in collections home and abroad since 2000, to analyze its expressive characteristics shown in modern fashion. According to analysis on the expression of patchwork, it used various painting techniques such as patterns, colors and surface effect. It included patchwork having patterns provoking elusion of fairy tails; containing painting expression of reproducing works of artists; using colors boldly and contrasting strong primary colors directly to establish purity of painting and to pursuit characteristic expression; and using expression techniques of pure art such as gradation and cutting. Second, it used a compromise expression in materials, methods and substances. Patchwork which had used cloth without a pattern or printed fabric, utilized various materials like vinyl, paper, leather, metal and plastic and had a figurative value showing a solid expression as an objet itself with new techniques and changes of connecting methods. Thirdly, it used tradition patchwork techniques. Pieced patchwork, crazy patchwork and images of traditional odd ends of cloth covering a meal were applied to a whole area or a part of cloth to avoid monotony of design and to use it as a decoration.

영화 사례분석을 통한 디지털 분장 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study of Digital Makeup Techniques, based on a Case Study of a Film)

  • Digital makeup(DM), depending upon computer graphic softwares, is applied to various fields, e.g. character works in movie and game industries and visual printouts in printing works. Focused on makeup field, DM is extremely conducive to developing, scientizing and informationalizing makeup patterns. Despite of unlimited potential of DM of which market size has been growing day by day, its practical use by domestic makeup experts and educators is much less active than expected as far, due to the lack of knowledge accumulation. The purpose of this study is to suggest some theoretical frameworks to generalize DM techniques and analyze two cases using the frames therefore support academicians' recent efforts to theorize DM techniques. The study 1) defines and categorizes the concepts of DM and DFX(digital special effect); 2) reviews the literature relevant to DM and generalizes the types and methods of DM techniques; 3) applies general frames to analyzing two movie cases, famous for their DM effects; 4) then suggests, based upon analytical results, some efficient ways for makeup experts to use DM techniques in practice. This study contributes to providing the theoretical grounds to conceptualize DM thus broadening makeup artists' interests in DM and awakening the scholarly concerns in cultural technology including DM.
