Objective: The purpose of the present study was to examine the mediating role of career calling in the relationship between job stress and burnout as well as the association among job stress, career calling, and burnout. Methods: A sample of three-hundred and seven child care teachers in the metropolitan area of Seoul completed questionnaires on job stress, career calling, and burnout. Results: Correlation and regression analyses indicated that lack of directors' leadership and administrative support, work overload, and career calling significantly predicted child care teachers' burnout. Moreover, the association of lack of directors' leadership and administrative support of burnout was mediated by career calling. Conclusion/Implications: The findings suggest that directors' leadership and seamless administrative support need to be emphasized in order to reduce burnout and mitigate work-related stress among child care teachers. The findings also highlight the important role of career calling in reducing burnout among child care teachers and suggest the consideration of career calling as a target in interventions and educational programs.

The purpose of this paper was to find the apartment manager's general work, problems and opinion. 35 managers of multi-family housing which located in Kwangmyung city were interviewed during July, 1999. Questionnaire was consisted of questions which manager's opinion about their job boundaries. At the managerial standpoint, there was a perceived gap in expectation level about the manager's role between the manager and residents in multi-family housing complexes. The fact that the lack of interpersonal communication caused this gap was founded. Managerial rules and guidelines should be described in detail and be known by all residents. Specified guideline should be suggested regarding the boundaries of the manager's job, responsibilities and rights, and extra work beyond the management job in order to prevent conflicts or problems between the managing body and the residents. There guidelines also play an important role in solving the conflicts and problems in multi-family housing.

This work was designed for the Green Fund Aid 2004 of Korea Forest Service. It won the prize and has been constructed. We can have an opportunity to play a leading role in improving partnership with participation of local communities, promoting environmental education, and enhancing the environmental quality by constructing biotops in urban areas where energy flow in the ecosystem is not balanced. This design includes 'citizen participation process' and 'local community partnership' that is expected to promote local community participation in the process of design. This work suggests that biotope construction with citizen involvement and community partnership plays an important role not only in design items but also in the revitalization of local community. This sort of design process could not be fully achieved without cooperation with stakeholders - environmental specialists, local authorities, relevant societies, schools, teachers, parents of students.

This study identifies and validates the factors that affect sales performance of salespersons in the business software industry. In the study, in order to measure the dependent variable (performance of the salesperson) more comprehensively, multiple items are utilized and both outcome and behavior indicators are used. Independent variables are identified based on the classification of Verbeke et al. [(2011] including sales related knowledge, degree of adaptiveness, role ambiguity, and work engagement. Results of the hypotheses testing show that 'sales related knowledge' and 'work engagement' are statistically significant factors, but 'degree of adaptiveness' and 'role ambiguity' are not. This study has a few limitations and future research direction to overcome the limitation is suggested : use of both perceptions of the salesperson and objective measures in measuring the related variables; study including cognitive ability; analyses of the factors across various types of software companies; and analyses of the factors on the team level.

In this work, we have investigated the national economic effects of the ubiquitous industry(UI) for a u-Korea(ubiquitous Korea) project. Since the UI are now playing the more and more important role in Korean economy, it will be very appropriate to provide the policy makers with the accurate and reliable information regarding the role of UI in the national economy. This paper employs input-output analysis to examine the impacts of UI while carefully taking into account the unique situations of Korea. The meaningful results have been obtained by utilizing the rich experiences of the UI. To be more specific, the economic effects of UI on the production-inducing, added value-inducing, export & import-inducing and employments have been addressed in the work.

It has been proven in previous work that rosin sizing agents are distributed relatively homogeneously on the outer surface of paper. Therefore, rosin sizing agents on paper surfaces can be characterized by macro domain measurement techniques with very thin layer from the surface. In this work, the role of rosin sizing agents on paper surface was investigated by comparing wettability from contact angle measurement with the chemical state of the outermost surface by the ESCA. Furthermore, the role of rosin on the surface of paper was discussed by the quantity of hydroxyl groups obtained from chemical modification with the TFAA-ESCA technique. It was found from the ESCA data that the fixing mechanism with soap-type rosin sizing is different from that with emulsion-type rosin sizing.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the alienation of low-income female earners and to investigate the affected variables of their alienation. For this empirical analysis, the data was collected from 356 poor, female-earners whose first child was of school age in the Seoul metropolitan area from the 14th of Feb. to the 18th of Mar. 2000. The collected data was analyzed by statistical methods such as freqency, mean, oneway ANOVA, and multiple regression. The major findings were as follows : First, poor female-earners alienation level was not higher than the average level. However among sub areas of alienation, powerlessness was higher than the average level. Second, the significant variables that affected the level of alienation were the amount of support from the child the cost from the work role, perception of the cost of child raising, economic strain events, the level of education, and the reward from the work role.

This paper reviewed models to explain memory and neuropsychological tests to assess memory. Memory was explained in cognitive and neuroanatomical perspectives, Cognitive model describes memory as structure and process. In structure model, memory is divided into three systems: sensory memory, short-term memory(working memory), and long-term memory. In process model, there are broadly three categories of memory process: encoding, storage, and retrieval. Memory process work in memory structure. There are two prominent models of the neuroanatomy of memory, derived from the work of Mishkin and Appenzeller and that of Squire and Zola-Morgan. These two models are the most useful for the clinician in part because they take into account the connections between the limbic and frontal cortical regions. The major difference between the two models concerns the role of the amygdala in memory processess. Mishkin and his colleagues believe that the amygdala plays a significant role while Squire and his colleagues do not. The most popular and widely used tests of memory ability such as WMS-R, AVLT, CVLT, HVLT. RBMT, CFT, and BVRT-R, were reviewed.

The Internet has allowed many things to move fast, including sharing of data, files and others within a second. Many domains use applications range from IoT, smart cities, healthcare, and organizations to share the data when necessary. However, there are some challenges faced by existing systems that works on centralized nature. Such challenges are data breach, trustiness issue, unauthorized access and data fraud. Therefore in this work, we focus on using a smart contract which is used by blockchain platform and works on decentralized form. Furthermore, in this work our contract provides an access to the file uploaded onto the decentralized storage such as IPFS. By leveraging smart contract-role based which consist of a contract owner who can manage the users when access the certain resources such as a file and as well as use of decentralized storage to avoid single point of failure and censorship over secure communication channel. We checked the gas cost of the smart contract since most of contracts tends to be a high cost.

With the steady rise in global popularity of the Korean music group BTS, the South Korean government and surrounding industries have swiftly begun utilizing their image and international recognition for specific nation branding purposes. While K-pop soft power strategies are not novel to the South Korean state, what is new is the rapid speed at which BTS have become a beacon for South Korean culture, language, and symbolism in the international arena. However, few scholarly works have sought to investigate the role fans have played in this heightened position for the group as state representatives, with minimal research conducted into the work fans do within the framework of ARMY fan culture. This paper will thus aim to fill the gap in scholarship on ARMY as an organized labour network, focusing on the role fans play as labourers in online spaces that work to promote, disseminate, and cultivate wider recognition for BTS as artists. Through the conjunct engagement of a political economy framework and theories of participatory culture, this paper will explore the manner through which the free labour of ARMY, premised on affect, has constructed the fandom as active agents of soft power alongside BTS themselves.
