This study examines the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the role of Malaysian local wisdom called "Ugahari" in managing Work-Life Balance (WLB) during the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia. Data was obtained through online and offline surveys which were distributed to the agencies in the public and private sectors spread across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Pura Jaya. Overall 466 respondents were found to have given valid and complete responses. This research utilized the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling. It was found that the use of the ICT during Work from Home (WFH) helped workers to have relatively high flexibility where they could easily expand or contract one domain to meet the demands of another domain. At the same time it also offered high permeability where aspects of one domain entered another domain. This encourages workers to integrate their roles and achieve broad work autonomy. Furthermore, this situation then gives rise to a high level of interference at the boundary between work and family domains. On the other hand Ugahari reduces the level of interference caused by ICT use and encourages workers to compartmentalize their respective roles. Thus, ICT and Ugahari's behavior can play a role and complement each other in the context of realizing worker well-being.

Constraining the structure and thus the fate of giant molecular clouds (GMCs), the primary sites of star formation in galaxies, is crucial to understand the evolution of galaxies themselves. Exploiting the unprecedented sensitivity and angular resolution of the Atacama Large Millimeter/sub-millimeter Array (ALMA), we have measured the spatially-resolved (~ 20 pc resolution) properties of the GMCs in two nearby late-type galaxies, NGC 5806 (SAB(s)b) and NGC 6753 ((R)SA(r)b), as part of the WISDOM project. Although these results are preliminary, we identified ~ 200 resolved GMCs in NGC 5806 within a radius of 500 pc, most within a nuclear ring structure, and ~ 400 resolved GMCs in NGC 6753 within a radius of 2 kpc, most within a flocculent spiral structure. The GMCs of NGC 5806 have similar sizes but slightly higher linewidths than clouds in the Milky Way disc. Because the GMCs also have higher surface densities, the calculated cloud Virial parameters are nevertheless about unity, suggesting that the GMCs of NGC 5806 are in gravitational equilibrium and thus long lived. This is contrary to other WISDOM results on earlier-type galaxies, where large cloud linewidths are likely due to shear associated with the local (circular) orbital motions (rather than the clouds' self-gravity), and the clouds are either marginally or not gravitationally bound. These results support the notion that spheroids alter the dynamical states of clouds (morphological quenching), that are otherwise (i.e. in galaxy discs) fairly homogenous and similar to those of the Milky Way.

본 연구는 대한민국 운영 지혜를 인류사회의 자산으로 구축하는 연구로서 서비스주의 기반으로 수행되었다. 건국 직후 참혹한 3년 전쟁을 겪었음에도 불구하고 유례가 없는 초고속 성장을 하며 세계 유수의 강국으로 발전한 대한민국의 건국과 발전 사례는 중요한 연구 대상이 된다. 그 성공 요인은 건국 사상 및 그 운용의 탁월함에 있다는 기초 분석에 의거하여, 본 연구는 거시적인 분석을 수행하였다. 건국 활동수행과정에서 한국인들에게 내재되어 있던 원천 사상은 조선왕조 말기에 국기로 만들어졌던 태극기의 태극사상임을 확인하였다. 대한민국 건국주체들은 태극 사상을 의식적 또는 무의식적으로 건국사상으로 채택하였고, 건국 이후 대한민국은 태극사상 기반으로 운영되어 초고속 발전을 이루어 냈다. 태극사상은 인류공통진리인 서비스철학에 기반을 두고 있기 때문에 더욱 큰 성공으로 이어졌다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 오랜 대륙문명 국가에서 새로운 해양문명을 받아들여 건국된 대한민국이 건국을 준비한 과정, 건국의 과정, 건국후 국가를 운영한 과정 등을 전체적으로 분석하였다. 특히 대륙문명의 강점과 해양문명의 강점을 필요한 상황에서 적절히 활용한 건국주체들의 탁월한 지혜를 발굴하였고, 두 대립자 간의 치열한 경쟁을 통한 발전이라는 동태적 운용모델이 초고속 국가발전의 성공요인이었음을 확인하였다. 다양한 사상적 배경과 독특한 개성을 가진 한국인들이 단합하여 하나의 나라를 건국하고 운영하는 것은 대단한 지혜를 필요로 한다. 치열한 경쟁과 협력을 동시에 수행해야 하기 때문이다. 태극사상이 한국인들에게 공통된 기저사상으로 작용하고 있었기에 대한민국 건국이라는 큰 지혜가 발휘될 수 있었다고 볼 수 있다. 필요한 시점에 필요한 문명의 장점을 끌어다 쓰는 능력을 발휘한 건국주체들의 리더십 모델이나, 또 긴장을 잃지 않도록 적정한 시점에 정부를 교체하여 항상 긴장감과 동태성을 유지하며 발전하도록 하는 운용모델이 건국사상에서 비롯되었음을 밝혀냈다. 대한민국이 끊임없이 긴장하며 발전을 구가한 지혜의 근원인 태극 사상은 인류의 지혜로 자산화될 수 있을 것이며, 관련 추가 연구들도 필요하다.

Mr. yoon, 1 20 years old man, in good health, was treated for unhealing the extraction wound, pus discharge and sensation of dull pain on maxillary 2nd molar areas. Roentgenographic examination showed unerupted 3rd molar in left maxillary sinus. The tooth was located immediatly under the zygomatic bone and directed to median line. Radical operation of its sinusitis and extraction of the impacted wisdom tooth were performed by Caldwell-Luc's operation technique. In morphological aspects, the tooth has resemblance to normal wisdom tooth.

This study aim to organize knowledge of the Oriental Medicine using the 'Wisdom of Crowds', and also results could be learned effectively. The progress of the research aims to understand the classic documents easily using the existing systems resources that is related to the information Oriental Medicine. As a result, the system that could understand how to deal with the existing definition of terms individually easily via cross reference, and also sort out and arrange without damaging the order of documents related to the Oriental Medicine was built up. In return, the system that could be handled by many participants could create and edit the knowledge of the Oriental Medicine together.

그리드 인프라를 활용하여 대규모 계산 자원이 필요한 가상 스크리닝(Virtual Screening)에 관한 연구가 국제 WISDOM 프로젝트를 중심으로 활발하게 진행 중에 있다. 기존의 연구들은 싱글 클러스터나 개인의 컴퓨터를 중심으로 계산 자원을 활용하는 방식으로 연구가 진행이 되었다. WISDOM을 중심으로 대규모 말라리아(Malaria), 조류 독감(Avian Flu) 에 대한 대규모 신약 후보 탐색에 관한 연구들이 진행이 되었으며 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)의 그리드 개발팀은 2007년도부터 국제 공동 파트너로 연구에 참여하고 있다. 공동연구에 참여하면서 신약 연구 개발자들이 Docking 및 그리드 자원을 활용하기 위한 접근 방식에 있어서 기존 방식들을 활용하기 어려운 점과 검색된 신약 물질을 분석하는 도구의 활용이 어려움이 많아 그리드 기반의 가상스크리닝 도구인 DrugScreenr-G(이하, DSG-G 클라리언트)를 개발하게 되었다. 본 논문은 개발된 DSG-G 클라이언트에 관한 개발 및 구조에 관한 내용이다.

Community enterprise plays an important role for developing local business. Products from local communities apply local specialties such as high-quality materials and inherited wisdom. This work aims to support merchandises from local community enterprises by bringing out their specialties related to local wisdom and intangible cultural aspects. An ontology is applied to demonstrate the innate information regarding the implicit values of the products and is used as a core for a semantic search system. Details of the products are gathered from their respective community using an interview method and are extracted to align with the developed ontological schema. The semantic search system thus is implemented with a recommendation process for online accessibility for providing the organised information. From evaluation, the developed ontology and its instances are rated highly for their consistency, conciseness, and completeness. In usage, accuracy of the query and recommendation results are evaluated at 97.38% searching accuracy and 85.03% for recommending interesting products.
