저압 배선선로의 과부하 및 단락사고 발생시 전선의 열해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Thermal Analysis for Electrical Wire in Overload and Short of Low Voltage Wiring)

  • 최근 전계-열계해석 소프트웨어의 발전에 힘입어 전계-열계 해석 이론을 바탕으로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션에 의한 전기화재의 정확한 원인분석과 조사가 체계적으로 연구되고 있으나, 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내 L사 제품(600V, VVF)의 전선을 모델로 하여 과부하 및 단락사고시 발생되는 전류 크기에 따른 전선의 열해석을 전계-열계 유한요소법(Flux2D)을 통하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 하고자 한다.

  • The major causes of electrical fire are classified to short circuit fault, overload fault, electric leakage and electric contact failure. The occurrence factor of the fire is electric arc or spark accompanied with electrical faults. Residual Current Protective Device(RCD) of high sensitivity type used at low voltage wiring cuts off earth leakage and overload, but the RCD can't cut off electric arc or spark to be a major factor of electrical fire. As the RCDs which are applied low voltage distribution panel are prescribed to rated breaking time about 30[ms](KS C 4613), the RCDs can't perceive to the periodic electric arc or spark of more short wavelength level. To be improved on such problem, this paper is proposed to a electrical fire disaster prevention device(EFDPD) for a RCD trip or a self circuit-breaking function on electric arc or spark due to electrical fire. Some experimental results of the proposed apparatus is confirmed to the validity of the analytical results.

  • This paper is studied on a novel Electric Safety Protection Device (ESPD) of high speed for incapable operation of Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELB) and Molded_case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) using the low voltage distribution line. The major causes of electrical fire are classified to short circuit fault, overload fault, electric leakage and electric contact failure. 전기화재 예방을 위한 EFPCD동작 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dynamic Characteristics of EFPCD for Electrical Fire Prevention)

  • 전기배선계통에 있어서 접속점의 접속 접촉불량과 순간단락 시 발생하는 스파크와 열축적은 절연물의 용착과 탄화현상을 발생하여 전기화재의 주요 원인이 되고 있다. 또한 접속점의 접속·접촉불량과 순간단락 시 발생하는 전류는 일종의 써지(Surge)전류가 되어 통신, 가전제품, 컴퓨터 그리고 각종 측정기기의 소손 및 고장을 일으키며, 특히 접속점의 접속·접촉불량과 순간단락은 다양한 현상을 나타내어 안전점검시 발견이 매우 어려운 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 누전차단기(Earth Leakage Breaker)의 보조 제어장치, 즉 전기화재예방 제어장치(Electrical Fire Prevention Control Device)를 개발하여, 상기 접속점의 접속·접촉불량과 순간 단락 시 누전차단기의 동작신뢰성을 제고시켜, 스파크와 접속점의 과열에 의한 전기화재를 예방하고자 한다.

자동차 시동시스템의 암전류 누설에 의한 고장사례연구 (Failure Examples for Parasitic Current Leakage of Starting System in Automotive)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study and analysis the failure examples for parasitic current leakage produced in starting system on gasoline engine. It verified the discharge of battery by electric leakage because of internal wiring damage problem for CD auto changer installed in car. Also, it verified the no-stating phenomenon because of deposit forming by chemical reaction of battery fluid between battery post and cable fixing parts. It verified the damage for brush holder and commutator mixing by internal short phenomenon because of brush carbon a particle and engine oil that was flowed into internal of starting motor. It verified the working phenomenon of audio by a point of contact even if the driver turn to "LOCK" position the key.

과부하에 의해 변형된 비닐절연전선의 구조변화 분석 (Analysis on the Structure Variation of IV Transformed by the Overload)

  • When the current flows over the allowable current due to the overload, it causes electric disaster such as an electrical fire and an electric shock by short current or leakage of electricity because the covering is deteriorated according to the heating action. In this paper, for the wire(IV 1.6mm) used as interior wiring, we analyzed a variation of the surroundings temperature, the form and the structure of a covering, and the crystal structure of a conductor. In the result of this experiment, the surroundings temperature at the allowable current of 300% rose to about 47$^{\circ}C$, and it rose up to the maximum allowable temperature of the wire at 400%. Consequently, it was broken within one minute at 500%. In the analysis of a metallograph, the conductor broken by the over current showed the dendrite. These analyses result will be applied to judging the electrical fire.

빌딩블록의 레이아웃 설계를 위한 계층적 배치 방법 (A hierarchical plcement method for building block layout design)

  • In this paper, we propose an algorithm to solve the problem of placement of rectangular blocks whose sizes and shpaes are pre-determined. The proposed method solves the placement of many retangular blocks of different sizes and shapes in a hierarchical manner, so as to minimize the chip area. The placement problem is divided into several sub-problems: hierarchical partioning, hierarchical area/shape estimation, hierarchical pattern pacement, overlap removal, and module rotation. After the circuit is recursively partitioned to build a hierarchy tree, the necessary wiring area and module shpaes are estimated using the resutls of the partitioning and the pin information before the placement is performed. The placement templaes are defined to represent the relative positions of the modules. The area and the connectivity are optimized separately at each level of hierachy using the placement templates, so the minimization of chip area and wire length can be achieved in a short execution time. Experiments are made on the MCNC building block benchmark circuits and the results are compared with those of other published methods. The proposed technique is shown to produce good figures in tems of execution time and chip area.

Elimination of Screen-Flickering Phenomenon in Multi-Function Display During Flight of Fixed-Wing Aircraft

  • In this study, we aim to eliminate the flickering phenomenon in multi-function display (MFD) units during the flight of fixed-wing aircraft. To execute flight missions effectively, the video signals transmitted to MFDs must provide information accurately and seamlessly. Therefore, a method for addressing the flickering phenomenon-including cause analysis and failure diagnosis-is adopted; specifically, a wiring configuration with a direct connection between the video signal cables and with a short cable length is adopted. The proposed method is experimentally verified using a flight test.

Comparison of Short Curved Stems and Standard-length Single Wedged Stems for Cementless Total Hip Arthroplasty

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the clinical and radiographic outcomes with use of short-curved stems versus standard-length single wedged stems over a minimum follow-up period of five years. Materials and Methods: A retrospective study of primary total hip arthroplasties performed using the Fitmore® stem (127 hips, 122 patients) and the M/L taper® stem (195 hips, 187 patients) between October 2012 and June 2014 was conducted. The clinical and radiographic outcomes were obtained for evaluation over a minimum follow-up period of five years. Results: In both the Fitmore® and M/L taper® groups, the mean Harris hip score improved from 52.4 and 48.9 preoperatively to 93.3 and 94.5 at the final follow-up, respectively (P=0.980). The mean Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index scores also improved from 73.3 and 76.8 preoperatively to 22.9 and 25.6 at the final follow-up, respectively (P=0.465). Fifteen hips (Fitmore®: 14 hips; M/L taper®: one hip, P<0.001) developed intraoperative cracks and were treated simultaneously with cerclage wiring. Radiography showed a radiolucent line in 24 hips in the Fitmore® group and 12 hips in the M/L taper® group (P=0.125). Cortical hypertrophy was detected in 29 hips (Fitmore® group: 28 hips; M/L taper® group: one hip, P<0.001). Conclusion: Similarly favorable clinical and radiographic outcomes were achieved with use of both short-curved stems and standard-length single wedged stems. However, higher cortical hypertrophy and a higher rate of femoral crack were observed with use of Fitmore® stems.

LSI의 Layout CAD에 관한 연구 -자동 배치 프로그램 개발- (A Study on Layout CAD of LSI)

  • 본 논문에서는 LSI layout의 배치 프로그램을 개발하고 그 실험 결과에 관해 논하였다. 100% 결선율 달성을 위해 가상 기선 경로법으로는 실제의 배선에 가까운 알고리즘을 도입하여 채널 밀도 계산에 반영하였다. 목적함수로는 총배선장의 최소화, 통과선수의 최소화, 최대 채널 밀도의 최소화를 동시에 산출 가능한 함수를 도입하였다. 제안된 가상배선경로 계산 알고리즘은 O(n2)으로 계산시간이 매우 바르고 최소배선장에 근사한 배선상태를 나타내므로 배치 문제에 적용하기에 매우 적합하다. 이 알고리즘을 사용하여 자동 배치 프로그램을 개발하고 작성된 프로그램의 실험결과를 통하여 제안된 알고리즘의 유용성을 보였다.
