  • In recent wireless communications, direct conversion transceiver or If sampling SDR-based receivers have being designed as an alternative to conventional transceiver topologies. In direct conversion receiver a.chitectu.e, the 1.equency/phase offset between the RF input signal and the local oscillator signal is a major impairment factor even though the conventional AFC/APC compensates the service deterioration due to the offset. To rover the limited tracking range of the conventional method and effectively aid compensation scheme in terms of I/Q channel imbalances, the frequency/phase offset compensation in RF-front end signal stage is proposed in this paper. In RF-front end, the varying phase offset besides the fixed large frequency/phase offset are corrected by using early-late phase compensator. A more simple frequency and phase tacking function in digital signal processing stage of direct conversion receiver is effectively available by an ingenious frequency/phase offset tracking method in RF front-end stage.

  • Radio base stations, which are widely distributed across large areas, have many difficulties in managing them. Unmanned radio base stations in remote mountains are having a hard time accessing them in case of emergencies. Major telephone service providers only remotely control incoming and outgoing information and local small business partners responsible for maintaining actual facilities do not possess such technologies, so they are each checked during field visits. In this study, in order to process the sensor raw data and smoothing, we apply the particle filters and confirmed that the performance of sensor data accuracy is increased. Integrated system using temperature, humidity, fire condition, and power operation at a wide range of radio base stations under the real-time monitoring status is operated well. It show that all of the status of base station are monitored at the remote office using the cloud server through internet networking.

  • Changing group key is necessary for the remaining members when a new member joins or a member leaves the group in multicast communications. It is required to guarantee perfect forward and backward confidentiality. Unfortunately, in large groups with frequent membership changes, key changes become the primary bottleneck for scalable group. In this paper, we propose a novel approach for providing efficient group key distribution in large and dynamic groups. Unlike existing secure multicast protocols, our protocol is scalable to large groups because both the frequency and computational overhead of re-keying is determined by the size of a subgroup instead of the size of the whole group, and offers mechanism to prevent the subgroup managers with group access control from having any access to the multicast data that are transfered by sender. It also provides security service for preserving privacy in wireless computing environments.

  • Spectrum sensing and spectrum decision are the main functions that cognitive radios (CRs) have to perform in order to get the best available spectrum band for the establishment of a wireless communication. These problems are worsened in the presence of users with different demands and spectrum channels with different properties in a heterogeneous network. The primary objective in this work is to design and simulate a new spectrum decision algorithm for heterogeneous cognitive radio system. To this end, first, we consider all cognitive users are separated into different traffic classes according to their Quality of Service (QoS). The cognitive users within one traffic class perform spectrum sensing in centralized group-based cooperative spectrum sensing system and the users of different traffic classes share the sensing results. Second, we propose a novel use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to optimally select available bands according to user requirements and detected spectrum channel characteristics (SCC). In this paper, utility function is used as spectrum decision algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method shows can effectively select the best available spectrum channels with a low complexity.

  • Recently, as computers and networks become popular, distributing information on the Internet is common In our daily life. also, the explosion of the Internet. of wireless digital communication and data exchange on Internet has rapidly changed the way we connect with other people. The e-mail has been commonly used by users as well recognizing It as the standard of manners among users on the Internet. In the past, e-mail has been the primary choice of exchanging Information, but secure mail is gaining popularity abroad and domestically because of their nature of providing security. That is. it has been used a variety of fields such as general mail and e-mail for advertisement. But, As the data transmitted on network can be easily opened or forged with simple operations. most of existing e-mail system don't have any security on the transmitted information. Thus. security mail system need to provide security including message encryption, content Integrity, message origin authentication, and non-repudiation. In this paper, we design implement secure mail system with non-repudiation service and encryption capability to provide services for certification of delivery and certification of content as well as the basic security services. • The purpose of this paper is to introduce Naming application model for sensor networks. Currently, sensor networks comprised of sensor nodes have provided an application range which could not function before. However, unlike general network, current sensor networks are designed to cooperate with major wireless-capable sensor devices with limited resources. Thus, exporting/importing between individual sensor and current sensor networks is very inefficient and unstable. Attribute, schema and DIT(Directory Information Tree) must be designed for sensor network using SN LDAP application model in order to maintain transparency and provide constant service in a situation of data defect. With the system explained as above, Naming application model is made to manage SN Fuzzy Query. It shall be more efficient and stable structure as long as Naming application using a virtual equation in a certain environment with information collected from sensor node is provided. In this paper, I would like to introduce SN Fuzzy LDAP model for sensor network by quick Naming method. Also, naming application which is possible for fuzzy query in a certain environment based on the system will be proved.

  • In order to meet the recently enhanced emission standards at home and abroad, it is necessary to develop the CRDI ECU control algorithm that users can adjust fuel injection timing and amount in response to their needs. Therefore, this study developed the simulator for knocking analysis that enables knocking discrimination and engine balance correction applicable to the ECU exclusive to the industrial CRDI engine. The purpose of this study is to provide the driver-oriented diagnostic service that enable drivers to diagnose vehicles directly by developing diagnostic devices for vehicles with ths use of the results of the developed simulator for knocing analysis according to the OBD-II standards. For this purpose, this study aims to improve the fuel efficiency of vehicles by proposing the S/W design method of the OBD-II diagnosis device that can provide real-time communcations with the use of wired system and bluetooth module as a wireless system to send and recevice automobile fault diagnosis signal and sensor output signal, and to suggest an improvement for engine efficiency by minimizing the generation of harmful exhaust gas.

  • Recently, Due to the rapid growth of broadcasting communication and video coding technologies, the demands for immersive media contents based on 3D stereoscopic video will increase steadily. And the demands must ultimately provide the contents for users which are in wireless channel such as vehicle, train, and ship. Thus, in this paper, we transmit the 3D stereoscopic video over the maritime Rician channel that direct wave is more dominant than reflective wave. Besides, we present unequel error protection (UEP) by applying hierarchical 4/16-QAM to V+D(Video plus Depth) format which can represent 3D stereoscopic video. We expect our system to provide seamless broadcasting service for users with poor reception condition.

  • In an urban area telecommunication using wireless system, the accurate prediction and analysis of wave propagation characteristics are very important to determine the service area optimized selection of base station, and eel design, etc. In the stage of these analyses, we have to present the propagation prediction mood which is varied with the type of antenna, directional angle, and configuration of the ground in our urban area in addition we need to perform an analysis of the conventional mode which is similar to ours and dig out the parameters to evaluate the wave environment before the cell design for the selected area. In this paper, we propose a wave propagation prediction model concerning the topography and obstacles in our urban area. We extract the parameters and apply them to the proposed wave environment for the simulation analyzing the propagation characteristics. Throughout these analyzing procedure, we extracted the essential parameters such as the position of the base station, the height of topography, and adequate type and height of the antenna with our preferable cuteness.

  • The technology of Software Defined Radio (SDR) is a possible solution to interwork flexibly between various wireless transport protocols. Ubiquitous network, like u-health service network, includes sensor devices or nodes which do not facilitate all the same transport protocols to access network. As such this may be in such unreachable situations as poverty of all required AP (Access Point)’s, faults or contention in a path of particular protocol communication, etc. This paper presents research results of modeling and simulation to analyze transport performance of multi-protocol ubiquitous network which includes SDR-based interwork nodes and congestion-controlled AP’s. Focusing mainly on dynamics of overall transport performance rather than protocol execution procedures, this paper employs the Zeigler’s DEVS (Discrete Event Systems Specification) methodology and DEVSim++simulation environment to experiment.
