새로운 플라보노이드 유도체인 DA-6034에 대한 유전독성에 관한 연구 (Genotoxicity Studies of DA-6034, a New Flavonoid Derivative)

  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a multifactorial disorder with unknown etiology and pathogenesis. Eupatilin, a kind of flavonoids, has been known to be effective for chronic diarrhea in Korea. In this study, we have investigated the genotoxicity of DA-6034, a new synthetic derivative of Eupatilin, wing in vitro and in viuo system such as Ames reverse mutation test, chromosomal aberration test and micronucleus test. in Ames reverse mutation test, DA-6034 treatment at the dose range up to 5,000 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ plate did not induced mutagenicity in Salmonella typhimurium TA98, TA100, TA102, TA1535, TA1537 with and without metabolic activation. Any significant aberration wasn't observed in chinese hamster lung(CHL) fibroblast cells treated with DA-6034 at the concentration of 5, 2.5, 1.25 mg/ml both in the absence and presence of metabolic activation system. In mouse micronucleus test, no significant increase in the occurrence of micronucleated polychromatic erythrocytes was observed in ICR male mice orally administered with DA-6034 of the doses of 2.0, 1.0, 0.5 g/kg. These results indicate that DA-6034 has no mutagenic potential under the condition in this study.

  • The aim of this study is to apply shape optimization technique for the repair of aging airframe components, which may extend fatigue life substantially. Free-form optimum shapes of a cracked part to be reworked or replaced are investigated with the objective to minimize the peak local stress concentration or fatigue-damage. Iterative non-gradient method, which is based on an analogy with biological growth, is employed by incorporating the robust optimization method to take account of the stochastic nature of the loading conditions. Numerical examples of optimal hole shape in a flat plate are presented to validate the proposed method. The method is then applied to determine the reworked or replacement shape for the repair of a cracked rib in the rear assembly wing body of aircraft.

  • 말굽와류로 대표되는 3차원 유동현상은 필연적으로 주유동에 대한 2차 유동의 형태로 발생되며, 유동손실을 유발하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 2차유동 손실을 일으키는 주요 요인중의 하나인 말굽와류의 강도를 감쇄시키기 위해 일반적인 날개 앞전에 설치한 판에 대해, 판의 설치 높이, 길이, 폭 및 두께 등의 형상변수를 설계변수로 정하여 이를 최적화하였다. 근사최적설계 기법을 이용 최적화를 수행하였으며, $FLUENT^{TM}$$iSIGHT^{TM}$를 이용하였다. 최적화 수행결과, 기준 모델의 경우보다 전압력 계수가 약 7.5% 감소하였다.

CJ-50005 (A형 간염백신)에 대한 유전독성시험 (Mutagenicity Tests on CJ-50005 (Hepatitis A Vaccine))

  • CJ-50005 is an inactivated whole virus vaccine derived from hepatitis A virus (HM175) grown in human MRC-5 diploid fibroblasts cell culture. In order to evaluate the mutagenic potential of CJ-50005, : 3 sets of mutagenicity tests were performed. In the reverse mutation test wing Salmonella typhimurium TA1535, TA1 537, TA98, TA100 and TA102, CJ-50005 did not increase the number of revertants at any concentration tested in this study (2.8, 1.4, 0.7, 0.35 and 0.175 $\mu\textrm{g}$/plate). CJ-50005, at concentration of 2.8, 1.4 and 0.7 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml, did not increase the number of cells having structural or numerical chromosome aberration in cytogenic test using Chinese Hamster Lung cells. In mouse micronucleus test, no significant increase in the occurrence of micronucleated polychromatic erythrocytes was observed in ICR male and female mice intraperitoneally administered with CJ-50005 at the doses of 25, 12.5 and 6.25 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg. These results indicate that CJ-50005 has no mutagenic potential in these in vitro and in vivo system.

Comparative analyses of a shield building subjected to a large commercial aircraft impact between decoupling method and coupling method

  • Comparative analyses of a shield building subjected to a large commercial aircraft impact between decoupling method and coupling method are performed in this paper. The decoupling method is applying impact force time-history curves on impact area of the shield building to study impact damage effects on structure. The coupling method is using a model including aircraft and shield building to perform simulation of the entire impact process. Impact force time-history curves of the fuselage, wing and engine and their total impact force time-history curve are obtained by the entire aircraft normally impacting the rigid wall. Taking aircraft structure and impact progress into account some loading areas are determined to perform some comparative analyses between decoupling method and coupling method, the calculation results including displacement, plastic strain of concrete and stress of steel plate in impact area are given. If the loading area is determined unreasonably, it will be difficult to assess impact damage of impact area even though the accurate impact force of each part of aircraft obtained already. The coupling method presented at last in this paper can more reasonably evaluate the dynamic response of the shield building than the decoupling methods used in the current nuclear engineering design.

Prediction and analysis of structural noise of a box girder using hybrid FE-SEA method

  • With the rapid development of rail transit, rail transit noise needs to be paid more and more attention. In order to accurately and effectively analyze the characteristics of low-frequency noise, a prediction model of vibration of box girder was established based on the hybrid FE-SEA method. When the train speed is 140 km/h, 200 km/h and 250 km/h, the vibration and noise of the box girder induced by the vertical wheel-rail interaction in the frequency range of 20-500 Hz are analyzed. Detailed analysis of the energy level, sound pressure contribution, modal analysis and vibration loss power of each slab at the operating speed of 140 km /h. The results show that: (1) When the train runs at a speed of 140km/h, the roof contributes more to the sound pressure at the far sound field point. Analyzing the frequency range from 20 to 500 Hz: The top plate plays a very important role in controlling sound pressure, contributing up to 70% of the sound pressure at peak frequencies. (2) When the train is traveling at various speeds, the maximum amplitude of structural vibration and noise generated by the viaduct occurs at 50 Hz. The vibration acceleration of the box beam at the far field point and near field point is mainly concentrated in the frequency range of 31.5-100 Hz, which is consistent with the dominant frequency band of wheel-rail force. Therefore, the main frequency of reducing the vibration and noise of the box beam is 31.5-100 Hz. 지상 정적 상태에서의 항공기내 연료온도변화에 대한 수치해석 (A Numerical Analysis on Transient Fuel temperatures in a Military Aircraft under Non-operating Ground Static Condition)

  • 지상 정적 상태에 있는 항공기내 연료온도의 변화가 유한차분식에 의하여 해석되었다. 수정 Dufort-Frankel 기법의 explicit 방법에 의해 수치계산이 수행되었다. 항공기는 지상 정적상태에서 1% hot day 대기조건에 따른 태양의 복사 및 바람의 속도와 함께 반복되는 일일주기의 공기온도에 노출되어 있다고 가정되었다. 항공기는 난류유동장내에 있는 것으로 가정되었다. 항공기 표면과 외부대기사이의 열전달을 계산하기 위하여 Eckert에 의해 제안된 평판위의 난류 열전달계수가 사용되었다. 본 해석에 사용된 지배방정식은 연료에 대한 에너지방정식이다. 본 해석으로부터, 주익탱크의 연료온도가 다른 탱크들 가운데 가장 높게 나타났으며 온도변화율 또한 가장 크게 나타났다. 본 온도해석에 대한 결과는 여러 비행임무에 있어서 항공기내의 연료온도 변화 해석을 위한 초기치로서 사용될 수 있다. 또한, 본 해석방법은 항공기 열에너지 관리시스템의 해석 및 설계에 사용될 수 있다.

L-형상 압전체 센서 배열을 이용한 충격 및 손상 탐지 기법 개발 (Impact and Damage Detection Method Utilizing L-Shaped Piezoelectric Sensor Array)

  • 항공기 구조물 표면에 발생하는 외부 충격은 크랙과 같은 손상을 발생시킬 수 있으며 이는 차후 큰 결함을 야기하기 때문에 충격과 손상을 탐지하고 위치를 추정하는 것은 구조 안정성 모니터링에 있어 중요한 부분이다. 본 연구에서는 능동, 수동 센싱기법을 조합한 L-형상 압전체 센서 배열을 사용하여 충격과 손상을 탐지할 수 있는 기법을 개발하였다. 수동 센싱기법으로 1개 센서군 당 3개의 센서를 L-형상으로 배치하여 충격 발생 각도를 추정하고 2개의 센서군을 사용하여 충격위치를 탐지하는 방법을 도입하였다. 이 수동 센싱기법을 유도초음파 기반의 능동 센싱기법에 확대 적용하여 동일한 압전소자로 충격 탐지와 더불어 손상을 탐지할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다. 이 기법은 방향에 따른 파동의 속도 변화와 같은 구조물에 대한 정보 없이도 위치 추정이 가능하여 비등방성 구조 내에서도 정확한 충격 및 손상 위치 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 개발된 기법을 날개 형태 구조물 및 CFRP 판에 적용하여 실험적으로 정확한 충격 및 손상 위치를 추정할 수 있음을 증명하였다.

Optimization of Screw Pumping System (SPS) for Mass Production of Entrapped Bifidus

  • Process of screw-pumping system (SPS) was optimized for mass production of encapsulated bifidus. SPS entrapment device was composed of feeding component, with optimized nozzle size and length of 18G (0.91 cm) and 4 mm, respectively, screw pump, and 37-multi-nozzle. Screw component had five wing turns [radius (r)=26 to 15 mm] from top to bottom of axis at 78-degree angle from middle of the screw, and two wings were positioned at screw edge to push materials toward nozzle. For nozzle component, 37 nozzles were attached to 20-mm round plate. Air compressor was attached to SPS to increase productivity of encapsulated bifidus. This system could be operated with highly viscous (more than 300 cp) materials, and productivity was higher than $1128\;{\pm}\;30\;beads/min$. Viability of encapsulated bifidus was $5.45\;{\times}\;10^8\;cfu$/bead, which is superior to that of encapsulated bifidus produced by other methods ($2.51{\times}10^8\;cfu$/bead). Average diameter of produced beads was $2.048\;{\pm}\;0.003\;mm$. Survival rate of SPS-produced encapsulated bifidus was 90% for Simulator of the Human Intestinal Microbial Ecosystem test and 88% in fermented milk (for 14 days). These results show SPS is effective for use in development of economical system for mass production of viable encapsulated bifidus.

기총 폭발 하중에 대한 모델 수립과 구조 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Model Establishment and Structural Analysis for Gun Blast Load)

  • 총구로부터 방출되는 폭발파에 대한 수학적 모델(GUNBLAST)을 수립하였으며, 폭발 하중에 대한 구조 응답 해석을 수행하였다. 폭발파는 자유영역 폭발파와 반사 폭발파로 구분되어질 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 스케일 기법을 이용하여 자유영역 폭발파 모델을 수립하였으며, 경사 충격파 이론과 전산유체역학(Computational Fluid Dynamics) 계산을 통하여 반사 충격파를 계산하였다. GUNBLAST는 두 가지의 구조 모델에 적용되었으며 구조 표면으로부터의 총구거리 변화에 따른 폭발파 특성을 파악하기 위하여 평판에 대한 적용을 통하여 균일하중조건과의 비교를 수행하였다. 또한 MSC/NASTRAN을 이용하여 12.7mm 기총을 장착한 비행기 날개 모델의 과도 응답 해석을 수행하였다. 결과적으로 이러한 폭발파는 랜덤진동과 항공기에 탑재된 장비에 고주파의 손상을 일으킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.
