웍스테이션 동향

  • Windows95의 출현으로 이제 웍스테이션과 퍼스널 컴퓨터의 구분은 모호해지고 있다. Windows 3.1이나 애플 매킨토시 시대의 PC는 16비트 어드레싱 구조의 제약으로속도가 느려 엔지니어링 프로그램과 같은 복잡한 응용 분야에 사용하기 어려웠다. 이제 웍스테이션과 PC를 구별하는 기준은 주로 가격과 성능이다. PC는 대개 $2000에서 $5000 사이에 팔리고 있으며 이보다 더 비싸면 웍스테이션으로, 당연히 PC보다 좋은 성능을 가질 것으로 기대된다. 이제 CAD 업무 관리자들의 의문은 '상대적으로 비싼 비용을 지불해야 하는 웍스테이션이 언제 필요한가'이다. 대부분의 엔지니어링 적용 분야에서는 이제 웍스테이션을 더 이상 필요로 하지 않는다고 믿어지며, 어떤 적용 분야에서는 보다 빠른 연산 속도와 그래픽 가속기의 웍스테이션이 그 의미를 가진다.

컴퓨터 비젼에 의한 PCB 검사를 위한 검사 정보 생성 시스템 개발 (Generating a Modified RLC(MRLC) from Gerber File for the PCB Inspection)

  • For the PCB inspection by computer vision, in some cases, the MRLC file should prepared. The MRLC file contains a RLC(Run Length Code) and a direction flag. In this paper, a generating method of MRLC is described. It is composed of two procedure as followings; (i) rasterizing Gerber file which is a vectorized image of PCB panel, and (ii) calculating a MRLC that is useful for the inspection as a template image. The suggested procedures are written in C-language and executable on Windows 95 and Windows NT.

MSR_FSB_FREQ 제어를 이용한 윈도우 운영체제에 실시간 처리 방법 (Real-time Processing Method for Windows OS Using MSR_FSB_FREQ Control)

  • In the case of laptops and tablet PC's that replace desktop, it uses the Windows operating system to provide various functions depending on operating system dependency, the Windows operating system does not support real-time processing because it uses multi-level feedback queue scheduling that extends round-robin scheduling. Also, since the initial value of Local APIC Counter can not be obtained from the Windows 8, the real-time processing function provided through the existing RTiK does not work. In this paper, we calculate Local APIC Counter value by using MSR_FSB_FREQ register to support real-time processing function on tablet PC's. We designed and implemented RTiK+, which provides real-time processing function to guarantee the periodicity by calculating the operation time of accurate timer. In order to verify and evaluate the performance of the implemented the RTiK+, the period was measured by using the Read Time-Stamp Counter(RDTSC) instruction and it was confirmed that it operates normally at 1ms and 0.1ms period.

  • In this paper, we developed a Windows 95 version off-line programing system which can simulate a track vehicle model in 3D graphics space. The track vehicle was adopted as an objective model. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95's graphic user interface environment was also studied The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

  • This paper presents the development and applications of the software package JIFEX, a new finite element system which can be used for structural analysis and optimum design by the modern computer hardware and software technologies such as MS Windows95/NT and Pentium PC platforms. The complete system of JIFEX is programmed with $C/C^{++}$ language to make full use of advanced facilities of MS Windows95/NT. In the system, the finite element data pre-processing, based on the most popular CAD package AutoCAD (R13, R14), has been implemented, so that the finite element modeling could be integrated with geometric modeling of CAD. The system not only has interactive graphics facility for data post-processing, but also realizes the real-time computing visualization by means of the Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) technique. Running on the Pentium computers, JIFEX can solve large-scale finite element analysis problems such as the ones with more than 60000 nodes in the finite element model.

  • 지속적인 PC의 발전 및 이에 반비례한 가격의 하락, Windows 95. Windows N/T로 이어지는 PC운영체제의 확장은 소규모 단지의 경우 PC에서도 도시기반시설관리정보체계의 운영가능성을 신중히 모색케 하고 있다. 이와 같은 점을 고려하여 AutoCAD를 이용하여 한국토지공사의 단지기반시설 업무인 pipe-based도시기반시설-상수, 우수, 오수-및 도로의 도면정보와 속성정보를 PC상에서 동시에 관리할 수 있는 자료자동화 시스템을 구축하였고, 향후 구축 방향 및 문제점을 논하였다.

  • 본 논문은 악성 프로그램 중 피해가 큰 컴퓨터 바이러스에 대하여 정의 및 부작용 그리고 형태 변화에 대하여 고찰 한후 최근 아시아 지역에서 많은 피해를 준 CIH 바이러스에 대한 특 징 메모리와 파일 치료방법을 기술하고 피해 복구방법을 원도95/98 운영체제하에서 FAT32 파일 시스템 구조를 가지 는 하드디스크를 복구하는 방법을 제안하고 실제로 상용의 백신 프로그램을 이용한 복구 사 례를 제시한 다. In this paper we introduce the definition and historical overviews of computer virus program and review their side-effect and ways of infections. We describe the feature of CIH virus which damaged lots of PC systems in Asian countries recently and propose new methods how to rescue against destruction under the operating system of the Microsoft's Windows 95/98. Our experiment results can fix hard disk having FAT32 file system structure and show some popular program cases of having recovered by commercial vaccine program.

한식 창호의 개구 면적에 따른 기밀 및 차음 성능간 상관성 연구 (A Correlation Analysis between the Airtightness and Sound Insulation Performance on the Opening Spaces of Han-style Windows)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the correlation coefficients between the airtightness and sound insulation performance of Han-style windows in New Han-ok. To achieve these goals, field measurements were accomplished in 18 bedrooms of 16 Han-oks in which actual residents were living, and then lab measurements were proceeded in the reverberation lab for evaluating the sound insulation performance. Followings are results. The results of the correlation analysis between the airtightness(Air change per hour at 50 Pa, ACH50) and sound insulation performance(Sound reduction index, Rw) in bedrooms of actual Han-oks, it was found that there were no significant correlation between two evaluating values. On the other hand, it was analyzed that the correlation coefficients of total 24 structures(double casement windows, single casement window, casement and sliding windows, single sliding window, 6 types per each structure) were located on 0.6757 exponentially and 0.4154 lineary in the lab evaluating conditions. But, The results of evaluating 4 structure classificatorily, it was found that there were high correlation coefficients(0.8665~0.9273 at ACH50, 0.8414~0.9346 at Rw). These results were signified that the correlation coefficients were changed according to the each structure and case by case analysis were necessary at the same time.
