  • In this study, the correlation analysis between total system error and environmental factor variables was performed to confirm the effect on the performance of the integrated navigation system by various environmental factors. To collect flight data of hybrid vertical take-off and landing UAVs, scenarios including various turning sections and straight sections such as left turn, right turn, turning rate, and path change angle were selected, and environmental data of wind direction, wind speed, temperature, air pressure, and humidity were collected in real time through weather station. As a result of the correlation analysis between the collected flight data and environmental data, it was concluded that the performance of the integrated navigation system by environmental factors within the collected data was not significant affected and was robust.

황해와 동중국해에서의 유의파고와 파향의 시공간 변동성 (Spatial and Temporal Variability of Significant Wave Height and Wave Direction in the Yellow Sea and East China Sea)

  • 해양의 파랑은 지구온난화 및 기후변화의 중요한 지표 중 하나로 인식되고 있다. 기후변화와 동아시아 몬순의 영향을 직접적으로 받는 황해 및 동중국해역에서의 유의파고 및 파향의 시공간 변동성 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 유럽중기예보센터(European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts; ECMWF)에서 제공하고 있는 5세대 모델 재분석장 (ECMWF Reanalysis 5, ERA5) 자료를 활용하여 황해 및 동중국해역에서의 유의파고와 파향의 공간분포와 계절 및 경년변동을 포함하는 시공간 변동성을 분석하였다. 모델 재분석자료를 활용한 유의파고와 파향의 변동성 분석에 앞서 이어도 해양과학기지 관측 자료와의 비교를 통하여 정확도를 검증하였다. 평균 유의파고는 0.3-1.6 m의 범위를 보였으며 북쪽에 비해 남쪽이 높고 연안에 비해 황해 중심부에서 높은 공간분포 특성을 보였다. 유의파고의 표준편차 또한 평균과 유사한 양상을 나타내었다. 황해에서 유의파고와 파향은 뚜렷한 계절변동성을 보였다. 유의파고의 경우 전반적으로 겨울철에 가장 높았으며 늦봄 또는 초여름에 가장 낮았다. 파향은 계절풍의 영향으로 겨울철에는 주로 남쪽으로 전파되었으며 여름철에는 북쪽으로 전파되는 특성이 나타났다. 유의파고의 계절변동은 여름철 태풍 등의 영향으로 해마다 연 진폭의 큰 변화를 가진 강한 경년변동성을 보였다.

Variation of Magnetic Field (By, Bz) Polarity and Statistical Analysis of Solar Wind Parameters during the Magnetic Storm Period

  • It is generally believed that the occurrence of a magnetic storm depends upon the solar wind conditions, particularly the southward interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) component. To understand the relationship between solar wind parameters and magnetic storms, variations in magnetic field polarity and solar wind parameters during magnetic storms are examined. A total of 156 storms during the period of 1997~2003 are used. According to the interplanetary driver, magnetic storms are divided into three types, which are coronal mass ejection (CME)-driven storms, co-rotating interaction region (CIR)-driven storms, and complicated type storms. Complicated types were not included in this study. For this purpose, the manner in which the direction change of IMF $B_y$ and $B_z$ components (in geocentric solar magnetospheric coordinate system coordinate) during the main phase is related with the development of the storm is examined. The time-integrated solar wind parameters are compared with the time-integrated disturbance storm time (Dst) index during the main phase of each magnetic storm. The time lag with the storm size is also investigated. Some results are worth noting: CME-driven storms, under steady conditions of $B_z$ < 0, represent more than half of the storms in number. That is, it is found that the average number of storms for negative sign of IMF $B_z$ (T1~T4) is high, at 56.4%, 53.0%, and 63.7% in each storm category, respectively. However, for the CIR-driven storms, the percentage of moderate storms is only 29.2%, while the number of intense storms is more than half (60.0%) under the $B_z$ < 0 condition. It is found that the correlation is highest between the time-integrated IMF $B_z$ and the time-integrated Dst index for the CME-driven storms. On the other hand, for the CIR-driven storms, a high correlation is found, with the correlation coefficient being 0.93, between time-integrated Dst index and time-integrated solar wind speed, while a low correlation, 0.51, is found between timeintegrated $B_z$ and time-integrated Dst index. The relationship between storm size and time lag in terms of hours from $B_z$ minimum to Dst minimum values is investigated. For the CME-driven storms, time lag of 26% of moderate storms is one hour, whereas time lag of 33% of moderate storms is two hours for the CIR-driven storms. The average values of solar wind parameters for the CME and CIR-driven storms are also examined. The average values of ${\mid}Dst_{min}{\mid}$ and ${\mid}B_{zmin}{\mid}$ for the CME-driven storms are higher than those of CIR-driven storms, while the average value of temperature is lower.

풍직각방향 풍하중이 작용하는 구조물의 비탄성 동적 해석 (Inelastic Dynamic Analysis of Structure Subjected to Across-Wind Load)

  • 본 연구에서는 KBC2022의 풍직각방향 변동풍하중 스펙트럼을 이용하여 풍직각방향 풍하중을 생성하고 생성된 풍직각방향 풍하중이 작용하는 구조물의 비탄성 동적거동을 해석하는 프로그램을 개발하고자 한다. 풍응답은 일차 모드가 탁월하고 소성화에 의한 진동의 변화는 작고, 풍방향 진동과 풍직각방향 진동은 독립적이며, 비틀림 진동의 영향은 작다고 가정한다. 적용 구조물을 수평방향의 단자유도 모델로 가정하고, 구조물의 질량을 집중질량으로 치환하여 상부에 작용시킨다. 비탄성 해석을 위한 이력모델은 이선형 모델을 적용한다. 강성비(𝛼)와 항복점비(𝛽)를 변수로 비탄성 동적응답을 분석한 결과 강성비가 일정한 경우에 항복점비가 증가할수록 최대변위비는 감소하다가 최소값을 나타내고 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 강성비가 0.5이상인 경우 최대변위비가 1이하가 되는 항복점비가 존재하며, 이는 비탄성 내풍설계시 비탄성 거동을 허용하더라도 탄성설계된 건물보다 최대 변형이 감소함을 나타낸다.

  • 전주(Electric Pole)는 전력 송/배전에 사용되는 지지물로 환경적인 요인의 외력 변화에 민감하다. 전력 설비는 외부 환경변화와 재해로 부터 유지/보수적 관점에서 많은 어려움이 있다. 기상변화는 전주 피해에 주요인으로 작용하며, 경제적으로 미치는 영향이 매우 크다. 가공전선(Aerial Wire)은 온도 영향으로 탄성(Elasticity)변화가 나타나며, 탄성의 변화는 풍속, 풍향 등의 요인에 의해 영향력이 가중된다. 전선에 작용하는 외력은 전주의 피로누적으로 작용된다. 전주의 안전도 평가는 설계 단계에서 이루어지며, 운영중인 전주에 대한 영향도는 고려되지 않는다. 보수/안전성 확보 목적으로 외력의 기상요인 영향도를 분석하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 유지/안전성 확보 목적수행을 위해 전주에 설치된 센서노드의 가속도 데이터를 분석하고, 잡음(Noise) 보상 방법으로 칼만필터를 이용했다. 기상 요인별 영향도를 분석하기 위해 고속 푸리에 변환(Fast Fourier Transform)을 수행하고, 주파수 성분별 기상요인 영향도를 분석했다. 영향도 분석 결과 온도, 습도, 일사량, 일조시간, 대기압, 풍향, 풍속의 기상요인 영향이 크게 작용했다. 본 논문에서는 주파수 성분별로 기상요인의 영향도가 다름을 보였으며, 유지보수와 안정성 확보의 목적 달성에 중요한 요소로 작용될 수 있으리라 생각한다.

청주 지방의 시정 변화에 관한 연구 (On the change of visibility in the Chongiu area during 1989-1992)

  • The Daechong dam is located nearby Chongju city, and the population alone in the Chongju-Chongwon area is over one half million. It is found that the number of days for fog occurrence after constructing the dam was much fewer than those before constructing it. It appears that the construction of a large dam did not cause to increase in the occurrence of fog in the Chongju area, and that was the increase due to topographical characteristics and wind direction. Low visibility in the Chongju-Chongwon area occurred frequently. In summer, Chongwon recorded more days of poor visibility than those observed at Chongju. It is thought that TSP, $\textrm{SO}_2$ and $\textrm{NO}_2$ 씨오투 were the main constituents of air pollutants causing the reduction in visibility. Those air Pollutants are produced by vehicles and industrial activities in the region.

편대비행에서 후방 항공기의 위치 안전성 분석 (Positional Stability Analysis of Trailing Aircraft in Formation Flight)

  • Positional stability analysis based on aerodynamic forces and induced moments of formation flight using two small aircraft models is presented. The aerodynamic force and moments of the trailing aircraft are analyzed in the aspect of flight stability. The induced moments with the change of local flow direction by wing-tip vortex from the leading aircraft can affect the flight positional stability of aircraft in closed formation flight. Aerodynamic forces and moments of trailing aircraft model are measured by 6-component internal balance at the 49 locations with vertical and lateral space between two aircraft models. Results are shown that the positional stability of trailing aircraft in formation flight can be analyzed by positional stability derivatives with vertical and lateral space. It is concluded that flying positions can be important factors for aircraft position stability due to induced aerodynamic force and moments with vertical and lateral spacing by the variation of flow pattern from the leading aircraft in formation flight.

  • Sound propagation along the surface of the ground can be affected by the roughness of the ground surface and the direction of the wind. Noise Source parameter and ground factor are estimated using the measured results of two points under particular environmental condition, and the noise level of arbitrary points under the same environmental condition can be estimated. The results can be used for the prediction of the noise level from a source above a plain and homogeneous ground surface with no obstacles nearby. Upward and downward conditions are also addressed in addition to ground effect. The proposed method can be utilized to estimate the noise level of specific noise environment and its validity was confirmed with the results of actual field measurement.

Vortical Flows over a LEX-Delta Wing at High Angles of Attack

  • The vortical flows over sharp-edged delta wings with and without a leading edge extension have been investigated using a computational method. Three-dimensional compressible Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved to provide an understanding of the effects of the angle of attack and the angle of yaw on the development and interaction of vortices and the aerodynamic characteristics of the delta wing at a freestream velocity of 20 m/s. The present computations provide qualitatively reasonable predictions of vortical flow characteristics, compared with past wind tunnel measurements. In the presence of a leading edge extension, a significant change in the suction pressure peak in the chordwise direction is much reduced at a given angle of attack. The leading edge extension can also stabilize the wing vortex on the windward side at angles of yaw, which dominates the vortical flows over yawed delta wings.

송풍기 설부 주변 유동의 개선에 관한 연구 (Study on improvements for flows near cut-off region in blower)

  • The present study has conducted the analysis of flows in a blower with double suction. The air handling system is for supplying air flows into a plant. The present system has a couple of impellers in axial direction for enhanced flow rate. Main interest lies on the improvements of static pressure rise and total efficiency of the system. The present treatment of the reform is to secure a spatial distance between the fan and the casing of the system and change the shape of the cut-off part.
