일선 간호관리자의 리더쉽 프로그램 요구 조사 (A Study of Leadership Training Program Demands of First-Line Nurse Managers in University Hospitals)

  • There is an important concern regarding the First-line nurse manager's leadership because of the recognition that effectiveness of Leadership in this position results in benefits for the whole health care organization. So knowledge and practice of effective leadership behavior are now more essential to nursing than ever before. First-line Nurse Managers must be effective leaders to meet today's challenge because staff nurse, patient are affected by them. So the purpose of this study was to identify and to analyse the need for Leadership program of First-Line nurse managers in university hospitals. There were three major purposes of this study. First, identify First-line nurse managers general characteristic, second, identify their experience of leadership training, third, identify and analysis their demands for leadership training program. The subjects for this study was 167 First-line nurse manager randomly from 18 university hospitals in Korea. The data were collected through questionnaires from Oct. 13th to Nov. 20th, 1997, data was analysed using frequencies and percentages. Especially the steps of analysis of descriptions were as follows: Initial analysis centered on the identification of the demands of first-line nurse managers. Later analysis collapsed the demands into broad categories. From the collect data, 283 demands of first-line nurse managers were identified. These demands were then sorted into 3 broad categories that included : Self development as first-line nurse managers, relationship with others, and practice. The result of the study were as follows ; 1) Most of nurse managers(79.6%) had leadership training course and had good experience to improve self leadership. 2) Their demands of leadership training course are as follows First, for self as first-line nurse managers, they want to learn leadership theory, identify their leadership style and then develop their leadership skill. Second, for others as first-line nurse managers, they want to improve their communication skill, empowering others, relationship with others. Third, for patients as first-line nurse managers, improve their knowledge of practice. From the above finding, this study can be suggested the following; 1. Develope a leadership training course to improve first- line nurse manager's leadership skill according to their demands, so they will be better able to lead staff nurses for organization purposes. 2. When develope leadership training program, it must be contained the factors which first-line nurse managers want to learn.

Intrusion of a Magnetic Field through the Overlying Field in the Solar Atmosphere Induced by Ballooning Instability

  • It has been a puzzle in solar physics how a low-lying magnetic structure such as a solar prominence surrounded by a strongly line-tied overlying field sometimes intrudes through the latter and goes into eruption. A numerical simulation study of the solar coronal plasma reveals that a ballooning instability can explain this type of eruptive process. We consider an idealized situation with two flux ropes merging. When magnetic field lines from different flux ropes reconnect, a new field line connecting farther footpoints is generated. Since the field line length abruptly increases, the field line expands outward. If the plasma beta is low, this expansion takes place more or less evenly over the whole field line. If, on the other hand, the plasma beta is high enough somewhere in this field line, the outward expansion is not even, but is localized as in a bulging balloon. This ballooning section of the magnetic field penetrates out of the overlying field, and eventually the originally underlying field and the overlying field come to interchange their apex positions. This process may explain how a field structure that has stably been confined by an overlying field can occasionally show a localized eruptive behavior.

합성곱 신경망을 이용한 On-Line 주제 분리 (On-Line Topic Segmentation Using Convolutional Neural Networks)

  • 글이나 대화를 일정한 주제의 단위로 나누는 것을 주제 분리라고 한다. 지금까지 주제 분리는 주로 완결된 하나의 문서에서 최적화된 분리를 찾는 방향으로 진행되어 왔다. 하지만 몇몇 응용은 글이나 대화가 진행 중에 주제 분리를 할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 합성곱 신경망을 이용한 교사 학습 모델을 통해 문장의 진행 중에 주제 분리를 수행하는 모델에 대해 제안한다. 그리고 제안한 모델의 성능 검증을 위해 On-line 상황을 가정한 실험과 기존의 C99모델을 결합한 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 각각 17.8과 11.95의 Pk 점수를 얻었고, 이를 통해 본 논문의 모델을 통한 On-line 상황에서의 주제 분리 활용의 가능성을 확인하였다.

낙동강교 ILM 가설에 따른 시공 중 계측 (Measurement during Construction of Nakdong Bridge by Incremental Launching Method)

  • As the volume of traffic in southern part of the republic of Korea grew, expansion of transportation was required. In that purpose, the railway between Samnangjin and Gwangyang is being extended to a double-track line. This construction includes Nakdong bridge located across Nakdong river. This truss bridge is constructed in incremental launching method (ILM) and composed of two sections, straight line and curved one. Bridge construction in the method goes with the shift of roller supports which results in the change of structural system. To accomplish safe construction, the measurement during the whole launching stages. The locations of member in severe condition and the corresponding response values were estimated through the preliminary construction stage analysis. Based on the analysis, the measurement during construction was planned. Several sensors and measurement devices were installed at appropriate locations. During the whole launching stages, the measurement was performed and the corresponding data were monitored and stored in real time. The comparison of the responses from the analysis and the measurement showed no indication of yielding of the structural members. Consequently, the construction of Nakdong bridge was concluded to be relevant.

지하철 차량 방화사고 초기대응에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Early Response System Subway Cabin Arson Fire)

  • 2003년 대구지하철 방화사고 이후 서울의 도시철도 7호선 방화를 비롯해 해외에서도 이와 유사한 모방 범죄가 발생하고 있다. 지하철의 방화사고는 대부분 유류나 가스 등을 이용한 방화유형이 대표적으로 발화 후 수분 내에 차량 내부가 전소될 수 있어 궁극적으로 지하철 전노선을 마비시키는 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 화재발생과 확산을 단계적으로 차단하거나 화재로부터 신속히 격리할 수 있는 효과적 초기 대응의 대안을 제시함으로서 대형 재난을 피할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 지하철 방화 사고의 진행과정을 분석하여 대응 단계별로 방화 상태의 피해확인 및 인지 여부, 초기진화 여건 판단, 대응 조직의 상황전파 및 피난유도과정을 비상상황 등급별로 시나리오상에 전개했다.

상주 양진당과 대산루의 동선요소 분석 (Analysis on the moving line of Yangjundang and Daesanru in Sangju)

  • In the Western and Oriental architecture, corridor and stairs have not been important from the whole architectural composition. The purpose of this study is to analyze their elements from theoretical viewpoint of modern architecture. The subject of analysis are Yangjindang and Daesanru of the Mid-Chosun Dynasty in Sangju. The conclusions are the followings : First, the moving line in the Western and Oriental architecture has the linear axis, and in general moving axis is straighten in Hanok architecture. But unlike common traditional architecture, the two buildings are right-angled in the moving axies. Second, Toenmaru in Yangjindang is the element of visual experience in the whole architectural space as promenade architecture called by Le Corbusier. On the other hand, Toenmaru in Daesanru plays a role the space of thinking in extending a visual field to the nature than its pure function. Third, the stairs of Yangjindang is diagonal shape with a role of entrance, but that of Daesanru was concealed in the wall as interior step. Yangjindang has two different stairs. One is broad and shallow stairs with ceremonial or public expression, and the other is narrow and steep stairs with unstable or private expression. This paper intends to show the latent architectural possibility of our traditional architecture.

부산 도시철도 3 호선 실내소음 특성분석 (An interior noise characteristic analysis of Busan Metro Line 3)

  • This paper deals with the correlation between the interior noise and the floor vibration of the train from rolling, impulse and friction in Busan Metro line 3. The correlation is verified by sound and vibration measurement causing friction between the railway and the wheel. If ANC(Active Noise Control) system can reduce 5 dB in below 500 Hz, the sound pressure level of the whole band pass can be reduced about 1.8-4.8 dB in squeal noise. Curve squeal noise is the intense high frequency tonal that can occur when a railway vehicle transverses a curve. The frequency range is from around 500 to almost 20,000 Hz, with noise levels up to about 15 dB in curve.

A heuristic Sweeping Algorithm for Autonomous Smearing Robot

  • A heuristic sweeping algorithm for an autonomous smearing robot which executes the area filling task is proposed. This algorithm searches tracking points with the obstacle andenvironment wall while the robot tracking whole workspace, and finds sequential tracking line by sequentally connecting the tracking points in such a way that (1) the line should be never crossed, (2) the total tracking points should be is linked as short as possible, and (3) the tracking link should be cross over the obstacle in the work-space. If the line pass through the obstacle, hierarchical collision free algorithm proposed is implied. The proposed algorithm consists of (1) collision detection procedure, (2) obstacle map making procedures, (3) tracking points generation procedures for subgosls, (4) tracking points scanning procedures, and (5) obstacle avoidance procedure.

DeLong 이론에 의한 회화속 팜므 파탈 이미지의 복식 형태 분석 (An Analysis of Femme Fatale Image's Costume Form in Paintings viewed from DeLong's Theory)

  • This thesis, concerning Femme Fatale Images Costume Form in paintings viewed from DeLong's Theory, analyzed frequency and traits on the basis of DeLong's Form Observation Theory and drew out the result as followings. First, Costume Form was mostly open, whole, planer integration, rounded, and indeterminate. The styles were similar each other. Second, surface structure was expressed by line & shape, color, texture, and pattern of which color had the highest priority. Next, line & shape and texture had the priority in order. They were expressed through intereaction. Third, the traits of Costume Form were a similar color harmony or large light and darkness contrast+soft quality+interaction by ambiguous line & shape. So, Femme Fatale Image in paintings was expressed by soft and pure images and erotic images.

Automatic Name Line Detection for Person Indexing Based on Overlay Text

  • Many overlay texts are artificially superimposed on the broadcasting videos by humans. These texts provide additional information to the audiovisual content. Especially, the overlay text in news videos contains concise and direct description of the content. Therefore, it is most reliable clue for constructing a news video indexing system. To make the automatic person indexing of interview video in the TV news program, this paper proposes the method to only detect the name text line among the whole overlay texts in one frame. The experimental results on Korean television news videos show that the proposed framework efficiently detects the overlaid name text line.
