답리작 대맥의 Whole Crop Pellt 생산이용에 관한 연구 (Study on the Whole Crop Pelltt Making of Barley Cultivated on Paddy Land after Rice)

  • The yield performance and nutrient quality of barley for pellets making from whole crop material were discussed during 1993-1994. Barley (cv. Olbori) was grown on paddy land after rice cutivation and was harvested at early stage of physiological maturity. A column type of whole crop pellets was produced by 1.5cm diameter and 2.5cm height. Barley war evaluated as a suitable materials for whole crop pellet making. Barley produced higher yield and better qualitative roughage in the utilization of pellet making than in the silage making. Dry matter yields were obtained 12.02 MTha in pellet making and 11.70 MT/ha in silage making. Net energy value of barley pellet were 6.54 MJ in net energy lactation and 635 SV in starch equivalent net energy. Feeding of barley pellet improved milk production of daily cattle Daily milk yields per head were 25.1 liter in silage feeding and 25.9 liter in pellet feeding. Production cost of pellets and silages made from whole crop barley were 169.07 won/kg and 124.15 won/kg dry matter, respectively.

  • 희첨(Siegesbeckiae Herba)은 진득찰(Siegesbeckiae pubescens Makino)의 잎을 말하며 한방에서 중풍, 전신마비, 반신불수, 부종등에 사용되어 왔다. 이에 관한 연구로는 한등이 diterpene계의 불합물을 분리하였고 이 diterpene계중의 한 성분이 실험적 신성 고혈압을 유기한 백서에 항고혈압작용이 있음을 보고한바 있으나 이의 고혈압 활료제로의 실용성 여부에 관하여서는 확인된 바가 없어 고혈압 치료제 개발의 일환으로서 화학적 성분 연구에 우선하여 약리학적으로 그 본태를 파악하고저 수성 및 알콜성 엑기스를 축출하여 가토에 대하여 이 실험을 시행하였다.

Ship Type 해양 구조물 전선 해석 시 Topside와 Interface가 Hull에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Topside and Interface on Hull in Whole Ship Analysis of Ship Type Offshore Structure)

  • In the existing whole ship analysis, topside was modeled as mass element. However recently, the topside is modeled as beam element due to the owner's requirement to improve the maturity of the whole ship FE model. To follow the owner'srequirement, detailed information for topside drawing and modeling, which may delay analysis schedule, is needed. However, it is hard to respond effectively to this matter due to the lack of study on the topside from the hull perspective. Therefore in this study, the effect of the topside on the hull is investigated when the topside is modeled as a mass element or beam element respectively. In addition, the interface modeling method is analyzed to verify modeling method used in the existing whole ship analysis. The results indicate that the interface and topside modeling method used in existing whole ship analysis are appropriate. This conclusion will be the technical basis for responding to owner's requirement about the topside modeling method.

전신 뼈 검사에서 $^{99m}Tc$-DPD의 미만성 간 섭취: MRI 조영제의 영향 (Diffuse Hepatic Uptake of $^{99m}Tc$-DPD on Whole Body Bone Scan: The Influence of MRI Contrast)

  • 전신 뼈 검사에 이용되는 방사성의약품의 주된 집적부위는 뼈 무기질이며 그 섭취기전은 명백히 밝혀져 있지 않다. 전신 뼈 검사에서 일시적으로 미만성 간 섭취가 나타날 수 있으며, 간내 섭취의 원인은 다양하게 보고되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전신 뼈 검사에서 $^{99m}Tc$-DPD의 미만성 간 섭취에 MRI 조영제가 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 2010년 1월부터 12월 사이에 $^{99m}Tc$-DPD 전신 뼈 검사를 시행한 환자 중 982명을 연구의 대상으로 하였다. 982명의 환자는 전신 뼈 검사 이전에 MRI 조영제를 사용한 검사를 시행하였다. 혈액학검사 및 일반화학검사 소견을 조사한 결과 전신 뼈 검사에서 46명의 환자(남:여=39:7)가 미만성 간 섭취를 보였다. 추적 전신 뼈 검사를 시행하였으며, 이전에 보였던 미만성 간 섭취는 모두 소실되어 정상적인 소견을 보였다. 간기능 및 신기능 검사는 모두 정상이었다. 전신 뼈 검사에서 $^{99m}Tc$-DPD의 미만성 간 섭취에 MRI 조영제가 간접적인 영향을 주고 있다. $^{99m}Tc$-DPD의 미만성 간 섭취를 피하기 위해서 전신 뼈 검사는 MRI 조영제를 사용한 검사를 시행하기에 앞서서 먼저 시행하여야 하고, MRI 조영제를 사용한 검사가 있을 경우에는 조영제가 몸에서 제거된 후 검사를 시행하여야 할 것이다.

  • 호맥(胡麥)의 생육시기별(生育時期別) 생초(生草) 및 건물소화율(乾物消化率)과 부위별(部位別) 생산량(生産量) 및 이들 시기별(時期別)로 일반성분(一般成分)과 생산량(生産量)을 비교(比較)하기 위하여 수잉기(穗孕期), 출수기(出穗期), 유숙기(乳熟期), 호숙기(糊熟期) 및 황숙기(黃熟期)의 5단계로 나누어 실시(實施)한 시험결과(試驗結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 생육시기별(生育時期別) 생초수량(生草收量)은 호숙기(糊熟期)가 가장 많았으며(P<0.01), 부위별(部位別)로는 줄기가 가장 많으나 이삭의 양(量)은 황숙기(黃熟期)가 가장 많았다(P<0.01). 2. 부위별(部位別) 비율(比率)은 생육(生育)이 진행(進行)됨에 따라 잎과 줄기는 전체(全體)에 대한 비율(比率)이 현저히 감소했으나, 이삭은 반대현상으로 증가(增加)하였다. 3. 건물량(乾物量)은 생육(生育)이 진행(進行)됨에 따라 증가(增加)하여 황숙기(黃熟期)에 생산량(生産量)이 가장 많았다(P<0.01). 4. 생육(生育)이 진행(進行)됨에 따라 잎, 줄기, 이삭 및 전체(全體)의 조단백질함량(粗蛋白質含量)은 점차로 감소하고 조섬유함량(粗纖維含量)은 반대(反對)로 증가(增加)하였다.

참깨가루와 통참깨로 착유한 참기름의 성분 비교 (Comparison of Components of Sesame Oil Extracted from Sesame Flour and Whole Sesame)

  • 수입 참깨가루로 제조한 참기름의 품질과 위생적 안정성에 대한 기초자료를 얻고자 통참깨와 참깨가루를 원료로한 참기름의 일반성분, 화학적 특성, 지방산, sesamol, sesamolin, sesamin 함량 및 AOM에 의한 유도기간 등을 비교 조사하였다. 일반성분 중 수분은 통참깨에 비해 참깨가루가 월등히 낮게 나타났으며, 단백질은 거의 차이가 없었다. 참기름의 화학적 특성으로 산가와 검화가는 참깨가루가 통참깨에 비해 높게 나타났으며, 요오드가는 통참깨군보다 낮았다. 참기름의 지방산 조성에서 linolenic acid과 linoleic acid의 함량은 각각 222.44~144.14, 2713~1776.46 $\mu\textrm{g}$/mL이었고, linoleic acid와 ${\gamma}$-linoleic acid의 함량이 통참깨 참기름에 비해 참깨가루 참기름의 함량이 낮았다. Lignan 물질 중 sesamol 함량은 통참깨 참기름이 참깨가루 참기름보다 함량이 높았고, 인도산 통참깨 참기름의 sesamol 함량이 가장 높았다. Sesamin, sesamolin 함량은 한국만 통참깨 참기름이 가장 높았다. AOM에 의한 산화유도시간은 북한산, 중국산 참깨가루가 각각 6.67, 13.35 시간으로 나타나 통참깨군보다 산화안정성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

습식분쇄 시간에 따른 통메밀 분말의 품질특성 (Characteristics of whole buckwheat by wet grinding over time)

  • 본 연구에서는 활용도가 낮은 메밀껍질을 활용하고자 효소처리 및 습식분쇄에 따른 통메밀 분말의 품질특성을 조사하였다. 습식 분쇄 통메밀 분말의 입도 분석 결과 메밀쌀의 평균 입자크기는 74.84 ${\mu}m$로 통메밀 분말에 비하여 약 4~5배가량 큰 것으로 나타났으며 습식분쇄 90분 이후에 큰 차이가 없었다. 총 페놀성 화합물 및 총 플라보노이드 함량의 경우 메밀쌀에 비하여 통메밀 분말에서 모두 증가하였으며 분쇄가 진행될수록 조금씩 상승하였다. Rutin 함량 조사결과 메밀쌀 44.10 ppm에 습식분쇄가 진행될수록 함량이 상승하여 습식분쇄 90분에서 152.90 ppm까지 증가한 뒤 이후로는 큰 변화가 없었다. Quercetin의 경우 습식분쇄 시간에 따른 큰 함량변화는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 무기질 함량 조사결과 메밀쌀에 비하여 통메밀 분말에서 Ca, K 및 Mg의 함량이 높게 증가하였으며 Zn 및 Mn이 통메밀 분말에서 검출되었다. 유리아미노산은 통메밀 분말에서 총 유리아미노산 함량이 22.27 mg%로 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며 특히 glutamic acid는 14.58 mg%에서 30.45 mg%로 두 배 이상 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과 통메밀 분말 제조를 위한 습식분쇄 시간은 90분이 적절하였으며 통메밀 분말의 경우 메밀껍질의 유효성분의 활용이 가능하였으며 습식분쇄과정을 통한 식감개선이 가능하여 차후 다양한 가공제품으로 활용이 기대된다.

Salivary Flow According to Elderly's Whole Health and Oral Health Status: According to Application of Oral exercise and Salivary Gland Massage

  • In old age, measures to cope with the natural phenomenon of aging and various diseases of the elderly due to the deterioration of physical function are also a challenge for this society. While interest in systematic health is increasing, it is true that awareness and interest in oral-related diseases is relatively lacking. This study aims to present basic data necessary to improve the quality of life for senior citizens aged 65 or older by improving the oral dryness caused by systemic health. By research method, improve oral dryness caused by whole-body health with the elderly over 65 and promote their oral health, inducing the increase of the salivary flow rate through oral health care education, oral exercise, and salivary gland massage. First, on the DMSQ according to the general characteristics of the elderly, the recognition of the whole body and oral health status, independent sample t-test and One-way ANOVA were conducted. Second, on changes in the salivary flow rate and saliva pH according to the general characteristics of the elderly, recognition of oral and whole-body health status, and whole-body health, paired samples t-test was conducted. Studies have shown that salivary gland flow increased significantly after oral exercise and salivary gland massage, the salivary flow rate significantly increased. In all variables of the recognition of the oral health status, the salivary flow rate increased after oral exercise and salivary gland massage, and in the whole-body health, regardless of hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, and osteoporosis, the salivary flow rate increased after oral exercise and salivary gland massage, and the salivary flow rate increased after oral exercise and salivary gland massage if the subjects responded that they did not have thyroid abnormality, anemia, abnormalities of breathing, hypotension, gastrointestinal disturbance, or kidney diseases. As a comprehensive analysis of this study, many felt oral dryness when they had a problem with the whole-body health, and many felt oral dryness when they had a problem with oral health cognition. After applying oral exercise and salivary gland massage as intervention methods in the oral health care for the elderly, the salivary flow rate significantly increased, and it is judged that the methods were very effective for controlling oral dryness. Furthermore, it is judged that the factors affecting oral health, whole-body health, and oral dryness would be identified, which would be helpful for the promotion of whole-body health and oral health. It is judged that continuous research would be needed so that measures for the application of the oral care program and system for the elderly would be prepared in the future.

Milk Production, Milk Composition, Live Weight Change and Milk Fatty Acid Composition in Lactating Dairy Cows in Response to Whole Linseed Supplementation

  • The objective of this study was to determine the effects of whole linseed supplementation on performances and milk fatty acid composition of dairy cows. Thirty six Holstein Friesian crossbred lactating dairy cows were blocked by milking days first and then stratified random balanced for milk yields and body weight into three groups of 12 cows each. The control group received 300 g of palm oil. The second group was supplemented with 344 g/d of top-dressed whole linseed plus 150 g of palm oil and the third group was supplemented with 688 g/d of top-dressed whole linseed. All cows also received ad libitum grass silage (Brachiaria ruziziensis), had free access to clean water and were individually housed in a free-stall unit and individually fed according to treatments. Residual feeds were collected on 2 consecutive days weekly and at the end of the experiment. Feed samples were pooled to make representative samples for proximate and detergent analyses. Daily milk yields were recorded. Milk samples were collected on 2 consecutive days weekly. Live weights were recorded at the start and at the end of the experiment. Milk samples were taken on d 56 of the experiment and subjected to milk fatty acid composition. The results showed no statistical significant differences in intakes, live weight change, milk yields and milk compositions, however, C18:1, C18:3 and unsaturated FAs were increased while saturated FAs were reduced by whole linseed supplementation. It is recommended that the addition of 300 g/d oil from whole linseed could be beneficial to lactating dairy cows in early lactation.

Effects of immediate unilateral whole body vibration on muscle performance and balance in young adults

  • Objective: Whole body vibration training is a relatively new approach for enhancement of muscle strength, physical performance, and balance. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of unilateral whole body vibration training. Design: One group pretest-posttest design. Methods: Sixteen healthy, physically active volunteers participated in this study. Whole body vibration was applied with a frequency of 20 Hz and an amplitude of 3 mm for 3 minutes. Muscle performance and static balance were assessed before and after unilateral whole body vibration training. One leg standing broad jump test was measured to determine muscle performance which is closely linked to lower extremity muscle function. The good balance system was used in evaluation static balance. All test were measured 3 times and the average value was analyzed. Results: Jumping length was significantly improved by 0.11m in all participants after intervention (p<0.05). Among static parameters, significant results were observed where in the eyes opened condition, X-speed (medial-lateral sway) changed from 4.20 mm/s to 4.95 mm/s, Y-speed (anterior-posterior sway) changed from 5.77 mm/s to 6.54 mm/s and velocity moment changed from $12.77mm^2/s$ to $13.57mm^2/s$ (p<0.05). In the eyes closed condition, X-speed changed from 4.34 mm/s to 4.85 mm/s, Y-speed changed from 7.84 mm/s to 8.16 mm/s and velocity moment changed from $16.03mm^2/s$ to $16.11mm^2/s$ (p<0.05). Conclusions: Immediate unilateral whole body vibration improved muscle performance but impaired static balance in young adults.
