This research has a significant meaning to observe and understand the historical condition of a furniture industry and the characteristics of Korean home furniture's formation, ability, skill and materials from 1980s when there were an economic growth and a historical development of Korean home furniture occurred to present days. During 1980s, there was an automatic system available and has enforced and settled the standards on its quality and price in a furniture industry. Also, there was a big trend of black furniture as well as an entrance of corporation and high glossy furniture due to technical cooperation from Europe. In 1990s, there was an entrance of furniture which various techniques was applied due to a high development of the materials and skills, and also various sizes of height and weight and enlargement of acceptance function using highly-technological hardware. After 2000 and now, pro-environmental products is embossed in the Korean home furniture where they added a public issue which is the concept of well being, and A.I and sub material has been pro-environment. There also was a natural unity between nature and technology because of increased usage of trees with its natural patterns, metals, and glasses. For the future development of home furniture design, This problem should be promptly recognized that current home furniture designs are now on the verge of being lack of originality and are just following the market demand and recent trend as it is. Then, there should be a development of its specialized, detailed, unique design as well as a development of advanced materials, production management, distribution, and so on, and carrying out a diversified research continuously. There also should be a systematic education, which is necessary for training specialists to lead the Korean home furniture design industry as well as preparing a basic level for the future without a negligence.

Today, well-being appears as new trend-code all of society. Likewise foodservice industry is influenced by that trend and as a result general menu items tend to change into healthy menu items. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the customers attitude toward healthy menu. One of major research finding is that consumers better interested to healthy menu than past and have potential needs to consume it. So need to extent healthy menu market and develop to consume of healthy menu, should get competitiveness on tastes and price of healthy menu and to segment of healthy menu consumer market.

This paper shows that various fractionally integrated univariate and multivariate are remarkably successful in representing annual temperature series and also very long series of tree ring widths, which are often used as a proxy for temperature. The analysis also suggests that human recorded temperature series are not inconsistent with being generated by a stationary, long memory process. From the empirical results, we should be noted that the statistically significant positive trend coefficients may well be due to small sample sizes. These results cast some doubt on the basic assumption that global warming is definitely occurring.

Deconstruction, which aims at art for pure art's sake, along with post-modernism which pursues for de-unification and variety, is trend of design characterizing the contemporary society. Responding to this trend, in Korean the design which advocates post-modernism has been begun and the trend of deconstruction spreads among young architects and designers and this trend is shown in furniture, accessories and lighting design, as well as in interior desigv. This study is under the assumption that the movement of recovering the limits of the existing one is the thinking of deconstructiov. By analyzing and considering the theory and works of Peter Eisenman who shows the trend of deconstruction, this study tries to disclose the design theory of deconstruction and get the reasonable approach toward the progress of design resulting from the progress of human being, science, and humanities.

현 사회의 웰빙에 대한 인식은 기존의 삶의 질 연구에서 의미했던 복지, 안녕의 개념과는 다소 차이가 있으며, 환경 친화나 자연과의 조화, 고급스럽고 차별적인 생활방식이나 유행추구, 정신적인 깨달음의 실현과 같은 독특한 특징을 가지고 있다. 그러나 이러한 웰빙 현상이 소비사회로 지칭되는 후기 산업사회의 물질지향적인 삶에 대한 반작용으로 소비자들의 삶 속에서 자연발생적으로 도출된 것인지 아니면 새로운 소비욕구를 창출하고자 하는 기업들의 전략에 의해서 소비행위를 통한 상징적이고 차별화된 개인만의 삶을 추구하는 현상인지에 대해서는 다양한 견해들이 제시되고 있다. 본 연구는 현 사회에서 추구되는 웰빙이 물질적인 소비만으로 성취될 수 있다는 문화적 상징성이 사회 내의 계층 간의 위화감을 조성하여 전체 사회의 웰빙에 오히려 역기능적으로 작용될 수도 있다는 문제를 제기하고, 이에 대한 대응방안으로 소비자들에게는 물질적인 소비뿐만이 아니라 자신의 가치와 여건에 맞는 다양한 방법의 웰빙 행동으로 실속 있는 웰빙을 실현시킬 수 있다는 인식을 확산시킬 수 있는 웰빙 상품의 개발과 시장 세분화를 위한 기초자료를 제공함으로써 웰빙 산업의 활성화에도 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 더불어 실속 있는 웰빙 행동 활성화의 여건 조성을 위한 사회의 복지정책의 방향을 제시하고, 이에 대한 시민참여 활동의 동기를 제공하여 궁극적으로는 우리 사회 전체의 웰빙 실현에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

The Diesel Multiple Units (DMU) is a successful mass transportation system, that is being, continuously, on demand by train operators and railway authorities around the globe. One of its advantages is the fact that a diesel engine, along with the correct propulsion and control equipment, could also be used on either Electrified or Non-Electrified Railway Lines. Currently, there are almost 12,000 DM Units being used worldwide and the demand is on the increase. This paper describes the special features as well as the advantages/disadvantages of the different types of the DMUs according to the propulsion systems that are employed, to help establish a trend in the DMU market.

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation, which means changes in all industrial structures, politics, economics and society as well as IT technology, is an important issue. It is difficult to know which research topic is being studied because digital transformation is being studied in various fields. Convergence research is possible because a research topic is studied in various fields such as computer science area and Decision science area. However, it is difficult to know the specific research status of the research topic. In this study, eight research topics were derived using the topic modeling technique of text mining for abstract of academic literature and the trend of each topic was analyzed. We also proposed to create a Topic-Word Proportions Table in the LDA based Topic modeling process to predict the topic of new literature. The results of this study are expected to contribute to advanced convergence research on topic of digital transformation. It is expected that the literature related to each research topic will be grasped and contribute to the design of a new convergence research.

The background, concept, and design characteristics of the Caports style, which comes into new domestic fashion trend of sportism, are discussed in this article. Analysis are performed with utilizing pictures, advertizements of fashion magazine such as Vogue Korea, Fashionbiz, Ceci, etc., and photographs from internet sites, domestic papers since 2002. The result of this study is as followings: New life style, arose from the change of social and cultural environment, such as increase in leisure time, fusion and well-being trend, begins to be reflected in caports style in the form of stress on utility and functionality. The caports style is a fusion style based on sports wear with character and fashion. And, it can be adapted as a sports wear and daytime wear. With respect to the form, it emphasizes healthy body line, and as for the material, it strikingly utilizes various and functional materials. It also shows active and cheerful image using bright color, and utilizes functional and decorative details such as line-tape, zipper, hood. With the IMF crisis in the late 1990's, coupled with the excessive supply of housing stock from the past, construction companies are adopting various differentiating strategies to address the decreasing apartment sales rates. Most of those strategies tend to follow the recent trend of 'eco-friendliness,' creating images of the apartments as 'well-being housing types.' In doing so, green spaces and water features are actively being used in outdoor landscapes design. One specific trend that can be witnessed is the efforts to make reference to the traditional Korean design languages, known as the 'Korean Style.' However, the applications of the 'Korea Style' on landscape design are being explored only by the construction companies, while most researches on the 'Korean Style' focus on its application on the indoor housing units. In this context, this series of case studies of the application of 'Korea Style' on landscape design attempts to extract design elements that can be set as basic guidelines.
