승주지방(昇州地方)에서 기상요인(氣象要因)과 택사(澤瀉) 생육(生育) 및 수량(收量)과의 관계(關係) (Relationships between Meteorological Factors and Growth and Yield of Alisma plantago L. in Seungju Area)

  • 1983년(年) 부터 1992년(年) 까지 계속하여 재배(栽培)하여온 전남(全南) 승주군(昇州郡) 해룡면(海龍面) 농가(農家) 도장(圖場)에서 조사(調査)한 택사(澤瀉)의 주요특성(主要特性)과 재배기간중(栽培期間中) 관측(觀測)된 기상자료(氣象資料)를 이용(利用)하여 생육(生育) 및 수양(收量)과 기상요인(氣象要因)과의 상관관계(相關關係), 분산(分散) 및 수양(收量) 추정식(推定式)을 유도(誘導)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 기상요인중(氣象要因中) 변리(變異)가 큰 것은 10월(月) 의 강수량(降水量)과 11월(月)의 최저기온(最低氣溫)으로서 변리계수(變異係數) (C.V)는 각각 106.44%와 144.08%였으며, 7월(月), 8월(月), 9월(月)의 평균기온(平均氣溫)과 최고기온(最高氣溫) 및 최저기온(最低氣溫)은 비교적 변리(變異)가 적었다. 2. 생육(生育) 및 수양형질(收量形質)의 변리계수(變異係數)는 수양형질중(收量形質中) 생근중(生根重)은 30.62% 건근중(乾根重)은 31.8%서 년차간(年次間) 변리(變異)가 아주 켰고 묘장(苗長)과 경장(莖長)은 $5.51{\sim}6.26%$로 변리(變異)가 중간정도였으며 엽폭(葉幅), 엽장(葉長), 경수(莖數) 및 근경(根莖)은 $1.08%{\sim}3.23%$로 변리(變異)가 아주 적어서 이들 형질(形質)은 년차간(年次間) 변리(變異)가 적음을 알 수 있었다. 3. 기상요인(氣象要因) 택사생육(澤瀉生育) 및 수양형질간(收量形質間)의 상관(相關)에서는 11월(月)의 최고기온(最高氣溫)과 엽장(葉長), 경장(莖長), 경수(莖數), 및 건근중(乾根重)에서 5% 수준(水準)의 유의성(有意性) 있는 정(正)의 상관(相關)이 인정(認定)되었다. 4.생육(生育) 및 수양형질(收量形質) 상호간(相互間)의 상관(相關)에서는 모두가 정(正)의 상관(相關)으로 고도(高度)의 유의성(有意性)이 인정(認定)되었으며 11월(月)의 최고기온(最高氣溫)을 이용(利用)하여 경수(莖數)를 추정(推定)한 결과(結果) $Y_1=4.114+0.5333\;X\;(R^2=0.4410)$,의 직선회귀식(直線回歸式)을 유도(誘導)할 수 있었고, 역시 11월(月)의 최고기온(最高氣溫)을 이용(利用)하여 건근중(乾根重)수양(收量)의 추정식(推定式) 유도(誘導)한 결과(結果)$Y_2=55.0405+14.3233\;X\;(R^2=0.4511)$의 직선회귀식(直線回歸式)을 얻을 수 있었으며 이들에 대한 분산(分散) 분석(分析)에서도 유의성(有意性)이 인정(認定)되었기에 수양(收量)에 대한 추정식(推定式)을 이용(利用)하여 이논적(理論的) 수양(收量)과 실제수양(實際收量)의 오차(誤差)를 구(求)한 결과(結果) l0%미만(未滿)의 차이(差異)를 보여 비교적 잘 적중되었다.

Interaction of Beef Growth Type${\times}$Production System for Carcass Traits of Steers

  • Steers (n=335) of known genetic backgrounds from four fundamentally different growth types were subjected to two production systems to study differences in carcass traits. Growth types were animals with genetic potential for large mature weight-late maturing, intermediate mature weight-late maturing, intermediate mature weight-early maturing and small mature weight-early maturing. Each year, in a nine-year study, calves of each growth type were weaned and five steers of each growth type were developed on pasture or feedlot and slaughtered at approximately 20 and 14 months of age, respectively. Data collected were pre-slaughter shrunk body weight (SBW); hot carcass weight (HCW); dressing percentage (DRESS); fat thickness at the $12^{th}$ and $13^{th}$ rib interface (FAT); percentage kidney, pelvic, and heart fat (KPH); longissimus muscle area (LMA); marbling score (MARB); quality grade (QG); and yield grade (YG). Year and growth type were significant for all carcass traits. The growth type${\times}$production system interaction was an important source of variation in SBW, HCW; FAT, YG and MARB. The same interaction was non-significant for DRESS, KPH, LMA and QG. Carcass differences in measures of fatness were greater in the feedlot system than in the pasture system. These data could aid producers in matching beef growth type to the production system most suitable for efficient use of resources.

  • It is well known that the targeted fuel efficiency could only be achieved by more than 40% reduction of the vehicle weight through improved design and extensive utilization of lightweight materials. In order to obtain the goal of the weight reduction of automobiles, the researches about lighter and stronger rear sub-frame have been studied without sacrificing the safety of rear sub-frame. In this study, the weight reduction design process of rear sub-frame could be proposed based on the variation of von-Mises stress contour by substituting an AA6061 (aluminum 6061 alloy) having tensile strength of 310 MPa grade instead of SAPH440 steels. In addition, the stress ratio variations (stress over fatigue limit) of the rear sub-frame were examined and compared carefully. It could be reached that this approach method could be well established and be contributed for light-weight design guide and the optimum design conditions of the automotive rear sub-frame development.

Spikelet Number Estimation Model Using Nitrogen Nutrition Status and Biomass at Panicle Initiation and Heading Stage of Rice

  • Spikelet number per unit area(SPN) is a major determinant of rice yield. Nitrogen nutrition status and biomass during reproductive stage determine the SPN. To formulate a model for estimating SPN, the 93 field experiment data collected from widely different regions with different japonica varieties in Korea and Japan were analyzed for the upper boundary lines of SPN responses to nitrogen nutrition index(NNI), shoot dry weight and shoot nitrogen content at panicle initiation and heading stage. The boundary lines of SPN showed asymptotic responses to all the above parameters(X) and were well fitted to the exponential function of $f(X)=alphacdot{1-etacdotexp(gamma;cdot;X)}$. Excluding the constant, from the boundary line equation, the values of the equation range from 0 to 1 and represent the indices of parameters expressing the degree of influence on SPN. In addition to those indices, the index of shoot dry weight increase during reproductive stage was calculated by directly dividing the shoot dry weight increase by the maximum value ($800 extrm{g/m}^{-2}$) of dry weight increase as it showed linear relationship with SPN. Four indices selected by forward stepwise regression at the stay level of 0.05 were those for NNI ($I_{NNI}_P$) at panicle initiation, NNI($I_{NNI}_h$) and shoot dry weight($I_{DW}_h$) at heading stage, and dry weight increase($I_{DW}$) between those two stages. The following model was obtained: SPN=48683ㆍ $I_{DWH}$$^{0.482}$$I_{NNIp}$$^{0.387}$$I_{NNIH}$$^{0.318}$$I_{DW}$ $^{0.35}$). This model accounted for about 89% of the variation of spikelet number. In conclusion this model could be used for estimating the spikelet number of japonica rice with some confidence in widely different regions and thus, integrated into a rice growth model as a component model for spikelet number estimation.n.n.

담배의 중량변화 요인에 판하여 (제2보) (A Study on the Factors Affecting Cigarette Weight (II))

  • 담배의 중량변화에 영향을 주는 인자중에서 刻草(각폭 0.9mm)의 길이와 수분함량 그리고 이 두 인자의 변화에 따른 팽숭성 변화의 상호관계로부터 우리나라 제조담배의 중량변화관계를 분석하였다. 1. 수분함량이 1%씩 변화할 때 각초의 팽숭성은 3.2~7.9%가 변화하였고, 제품의 중량은 5.7~7.6%의 변화를 보였으며, 이 변화율은 각초의 길이가 클수록 크게 나타나고 길이가 작을수록 작게 나타났다. 2. 일정한 수분함량( 12% )에서 각초의 길이변화에 따른 팽숭성의 변화는 3.8~22.8%로 나타났고, 제품의 중량은 2.9~29.4%의 변화를 보였으며, 이 변화폭은 수분함량이 감소할수록 커지고 증가할수록 작아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 3. 길이가 서로 다른 각초를 일정량씩 임의로 배합하였을 때의 제품중량의 변화는 각초의 길이가 2mm이상은 3.5%가 증가하는 반면 2mm이하는 3.5%가 감소하였으면 이 변화는 배합률이 25~30%에서 가장 적게 나타났다. 4. 우리나라 제조담배의 표준중량은 본 실험의 결과 분석된 적정중량에 비해서 1~9%가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

  • In this paper, analyzes the characteristics of self-weight consolidation on the dredged clay according to the fines content and falling height. Research was performed with the dredged clay sampled by Sae-mangeum field site. Classification of fines content was performed by sieve analysis test. After adjusting the fine content, self-weight consolidation tests were carried out focussing on the variation of fines content and falling heights. From the test results of the self-weight consolidation test, samples with high fines content had reached sedimentation completion more later than ones with less fine content samples. In other words, the start of self-weight consolidation was slowing down with increasing of fines content. Also, from the test results of calculating the coefficient of sedimentation consolidation, the coefficient value were increased with the fines content increases. In addition, the change of sedimentation ratio and volume ratio showed more higher changed value as the fine content increases. Thus, it is important to consider the fines content when estimate the settlement time of dredged soil in field dredge work.

PET직물의 Tank/Liquor-flow 감량에 의한 역학적 특성변화 -굽힘.전단특성- (The Change of Mechanical Properties of Alkali Hydrolyzed PET Fabric with Tank/Liquor-flow Machine - Bending and Shear Properties -)

  • The purpose of this study was to elucidate the effect of weight loss of polyethylene terephthalate(PET) fabrics on the mechanical properties such as bending and shear. In order to compare the effect of treatment machine on the mechanical properies of treated PET fabrics, PET fabrics were hydrolyzed with NaOH aqueous solution using Tank machine and Liquor flow machine, respectively. The results were as follows : 1. The bending rigidity and shear stiffness of hydrolyzed PET fabric decreased markedly up to about 10% weight loss regardless of treatment machines. At the above 10% weight loss, the variation of these properties is nearly unchanged. In addition, the bending hysteresis and shear hysteresis also showed similar trend. 2. Weft density change of PET fabrics treated with Liquor flow machine decreased by 1pick/inch. It is assumed that this is attributed to the tension during the treatment of Liquor flow machine. On the other hand, the weft density change of PET fabrics treated with Tank machine is scarcely influeneced by the weight loss. While warp density of PET fabrics treated with Liquor flow machine had no change with weight loss, warp density of PET fabrics treated with Tank machine decreased by 6pick/inch due to the tension. 3. The bending rigidity and shear stiffness of PET fabrics hydrolyzed with liquor flow machine slightly higher than with Tank m/c at the above 10% weight loss. It is assumed that this is caused by the increasement of the crossing pressure of warp and weft yarn and contact points of filaments in the yarns. Also, the bending and shear hysteresis of PET fabrics treated with Tank machine were higher than that of liquor flow machine.

화상처리장치에 의한 번데기 암수판별의 효과 (Sex-Discrimination of Silkworm Pupa, Bombyx mori with Image Analyzer)

  • 누에의 실용품종은 모두 일대교잡종을 이용하고 있어 교잡종제조과정에는 씨고치의 암수감별이 필수적인 작업과정이다. 번데기의 암수감별 수단으로는 번데기의 비중, 번데기 무게, 고치무게 등에 의해 많은 연구가 되어 왔지만 아직 미흡한 점이 많아 본 시험에서는 화상처리장치에 의한 고치모양과 고치무게 등에 의하여 여러가지 조합으로 번데기 암수판별 효과를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 측정된 데이터의 암수간 차의 평균에 있어서는 번데기무게, 견층종, 장경, 단경, 면적, 체적, 전견중, 장폭비율 등은 암이 크지만, 견층비율만은 수가 높게 나타났다. 2. 조사변량 단독에 의한 암수판별효과는 번데기 무게, 전견중, 견층비율, 체적, 면적, 견층중, 단경, 장경 순이었으며, 암수판별정도는 번데기무게가 97%, 전견중 96%로 매우 높게 나타났다. 3. 고치모양에 관계되는 변수만에 의한 암수판별효과는 품종에 따라서는 84%의 암수분리효율을 보였으나 전체평균 78%로 매우 저조하였다. 4. 번데기무게, 견층중, 전견중 및 견충비율에 의한 암수판별효율은 약 99%로 매우 높았으나 누에고치를 절개해야하는 문제가 남아있다. 5. 견종과 고치모양에 의한 시험에서는 전체평균 판별율이 98.7%로 견중에 관계하는 변수에 의한 것 보다는 판별정도가 낮지만, 전견중의 단독변수에 의한 것보다는 2.7%가 향상되었다. 6. 판별함수를 설정하는데에 최소유효샘플링수는 암수 각 15개씩 이상이면 충분한 것으로 분석되었다.

Estimation of Genetic Parameters of Body Weight Traits in Ghezel Sheep

  • The present study was carried out to estimate genetic parameters for body weight traits in Ghezel sheep. The data set used was records of 9,221 lambs from 180 sires and 5,060 dams for birth weight (BW), 7,206 lambs from 167 sires and 4,497 dams for weaning weight (WW) and 6,112 lambs from 157 sires and 3,841 dams for 6-months weight (6 MW), which were collected from 1999 to 2007 (9-years) at Ghezel sheep Breeding Station in west Azarbaijan. Variance components and corresponding genetic parameters were obtained with univariate analyses fitting animal models using restricted maximum likelihood (REML) methods. The most suitable model for each trait was determined based on log likelihood ratio tests. Birth year, lamb gender, type of birth, age of dam and herd were significant sources of variation on BW, WW and 6 MW (p<0.01). Direct estimate of heritability for BW, WW and 6 MW was 0.24, 0.29 and 0.37, respectively. The estimate of maternal permanent environmental variance as a proportion of phenotypic variance was 0.09 and 0.05 for BW and WW, respectively. The results of this study showed that genetic progress for growth traits is possible by selection.

  • 기존 STKM11A steel 소재로 설계된 자동차용 텐션링크를 인장강도 245 MPa인 알루미늄 합금(A356) 소재로 대체하기 위한 경량화 설계 과정이 인장, 굽힘 및 비틀링 강성의 변화 측면에서 연구하였다. 부품들의 안전성을 희생시키지 않고 자동차 부품 경량화를 이루기 위해 많은 연구자들이 보다 가볍고 강한 서스펜션 링크들에 관한 연구를 진행해 왔다. 기존 I-빔 형태의 단면을 지닌 링크는 특별한 방향에 대하여 약한 단점이 있을 수 있으므로 경량화 이후에도 모든 방향의 하중을 견딜 수 있는 최적의 링크부품 형상을 연구하였다. 다양한 형태의 링크들을 설계 및 분석하여 최적의 형상을 얻을 수 있었다. 최적화된 설계는 경량화 이전 steel 소재로 설계된 링크보다 40% 이상 경량화 시킬 수 있었으며 이를 통해 텐션링크 개발의 안전한 경량화 설계조건을 제시할 수 있었다.
