A Continuous Query Processing System for XML Stream Data (XML 스트림 데이터에 대한 연속 질의 처리 시스템)

  • Streaming data processing is an area of interest with much research under way. There has been increasing attention on the demands for efficient processing of streaming data produced in the application areas such as monitoring and sensor network. We have developed a continuous query processing system for streaming data and evaluated its performance in this paper. XML, the standard for data exchange on the web, is used as the model for the streaming data and the XQuery appended with a time interval is adopted as the query language for expressing con-tinuous queries. In the proposed system, the result is produced through background processing and materialized for reute in subsequent query processing. Through a detailed set of performance experiments, we shoed the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • In this paper, we discuss the system configuration and the design issues of CATS-i, a set of installation and administration tools for Linux cluster systems. CATS-i enables users to manage cluster systems easily, quickly, and safety. It integrates many functions, ranging from installing operating systems and applications to real-time monitoring and management of various important resources. In addition, batch job submission and management are included. These functions support a single system image. Finally, a powerful graphic user interface based on Java lets users quickly understand the cluster status and conveniently use the CATS-i on the Web.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the iMPS(Integrated Project Management system). The iMPS is used in the performance evaluation which establishes the systematic management of support for Industry-Academy-Research Cooperation. The implemented iPMS mainly contain functions. First, the search function produces a report for result on the status of numerous projects and allows administrators to track project status in a excel file format. Second, the management function produces a performance evaluation, monitoring. Applying the iPMS to management of Busan-Ulsan Association of industry-academy cooperation, its usefulness is from the results of web service.

  • Recently, as a countermeasure for cyber breach attacks and confidential leak incidents on PC hard disk memory storage data of the metaverse industry, it is required when reviewing and developing a remote-based regular/real-time monitoring and analysis security system.   • Minimization of human casualties in disaster situations is of paramount importance. In particular, if a marine disaster occurs, it can be directly connected to human casualties, so prompt action is needed. In the event of a marine disaster, the route and location of movement should be identified and life tubes should be used to float on the water. This paper designs and proposes an emergency IoT notification system that can quickly rescue drowning people. The maritime emergency IoT notification system consists of four main types. First, an emergency IoT device that detects the expansion of the life tube and delivers location and situation information to the emergency IoT notification server. Second, an emergency IoT web server that manages emergency information and provides notification. Third, a database server that stores and manages emergency IoT notification information. And finally, an emergency notification app that can receive and respond to emergency notification information. The emergency IoT device consists of a TPMS(Tube Pressure Monitoring System) device that checks the pressure value of the TPMS in real time and sends it to the IoT device, and an IoT device that sends the rescuer's voice information and emergency information to the emergency IoT server. Emergency information is delivered using the MQTT(Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) protocol, and voice information is delivered to the IoT server as HTTP FormData.

  • Nowadays, the limitation of Lighting control and management skills is the excessive cost of equipments, the operational difficulties and wasting energy. To solve this problem is in need of communication and management S/W that is worked out complexly well as a information system of smart lighting energy, which is loaded wireless network facility. This paper made a study od the energy saving technology through energy monitoring and we developed LEIS(Lighting Energy Information Sysem) to converge this one. LEIS is monitoring and control lighting energy data that is collelcted from sensors by Zigbee mesh network and shows lighting use information by visualization to users. It is consists of lighting energy information data base based on LEM(Lighting Energy Metering) information and LEIS Web application, provide function scenario to manage energy optimization through LEIS.

  • Remote control and monitoring of information appliances require RTOS and TCP/IP network module to communicate each other. Traditional TCP/IP protocol stacks, however, require relatively large resources to be useful in small 8 or 16-bit systems both in terms of code size and memory usage. It motivates design and implementation of micro TCP/IP that is lightweight for embedded systems. Micro embedded web server is also required to control and monitor information appliances through the Web. In this paper, we design and implement micro TCP/IP and Web server for information appliances. For this goal, we investigate requirements for the interoperability of embedded systems with the Internet and the Web-based control of embedded systems. Next, we compare our micro TCP/IP protocol stack with that of RTIP and QPlus in terms of object code size and performance. The size of micro TCP/IP protocol stack can be reduced by 3/2 and 1/4, respectively, comparing with that of RTIP and QPlus. We also show that the performance of our micro TCP/IP is similar to that of RTIP and QPlus since it handles 2.9Mbps when delayed ACK is not adapted.

  • 본 논문에서는 임베디드 프로세서인 ATmega128과 W3100A 이더넷 칩을 이용하여 범용 웹 모니터링 시스템을 구현하였다. 카메라를 이용한 동영상 오디오, RS-422 통신, 디지털/아날로그 신호의 입출력 등 다양한 제어 모니터링 정보를 통합하여 범용으로 사용할 수 있고, 소형, 저가, 저전력 소모가 가능하도록 설계, 구현하였다. 클라이언트 프로그램은 Java Applet으로 개발 하여 별도의 소프트웨어 설치 없이 웹브라우저를 통하여 접속되고, 원격지의 영상 및 각종 기기들의 상태를 실시간으로 모니터링하여 GUI기반의 각종 메뉴를 사용하여 원격 시스템을 편리하게 제어 할 수 있다.

  • The huge size of Internet does not allow ordinary information seekers to search information with ease. Now, it is almost impossible to navigate the ocean of information without effective search tools. Web search engine has been the most effective technology for information retrieval on WWW. But recently, the need for new search tools on WWW or Internet has increased drastically. Currently, there are many on-going researches on the related topics. In this survey, we categorize the new search tools into four types: monitoring systems, filtering systems, browsing assistant systems, recommending systems. These example systems are examined. We are especially interested in WWW information filtering. It is studied how to apply the information filtering techniques to WWW, The application is not so straightforward like Email, Newswire filtering systems. As a result of this study, a simple WWW information filtering system is proposed.

  • 본 논문에서는 클라이언트/서버 형태로 긴급 이벤트 자동 호출 기능을 처리할 수 있는 원격제어 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 웹 애플릿을 기반으로 구현된 클라이언트 시스템은 상황실에 위치하여 직접적으로 제어를 담당하는 서버에게 원격제어 명령을 내린다. 제어 명령은 서버시스템으로 전달되며, 서버시스템에 존재하는 구동기가 실질적으로 컨베이어 시스템을 제어하는 기능을 가진다. 여기서 컨베이어 시스템은 승용차 조립라인을 시뮬레이션 한 것이다. 이러한 원격제어 시스템에 이동 통신의 문자서비스를 이용하여 긴급한 상황을 자동으로 원격지에 있는 관리자에게 알려주는 기능까지 확대시켰다. 관리자는 원격 시스템을 항상 감시할 필요가 없이 어느 장소에서나 상황보고를 받을 수 있다.
