  • 본 논문은 씬 서버들을 클러스터로 구성한 서비스 서버들의 모니터링 항목 값을 인터넷으로 연결된 모니터링 서버에서 수집할 수 있는 모니터링 시스템을 구성한다. 본 시스템은 MS .NET 플랫폼에서 제공하는 성능 모니터 클래스를 사용하여 구현하였으며, 일반적인 모니터링 시스템과 달리 토픽기반 메시지 처리기를 사용하여 다양한 클라이언트의 요구에 적절히 대응할 수 있고, 지역 네트워크뿐만 아니라 인터넷으로 연결된 원격 네트워크의 클라이언트로 수집된 모니터링 항목 값을 전송할 수 있다.

  • 인터넷 데이터 센터란 인터넷 서비스를 제공하는 기업의 서버 및 통신 장비의 운영, 관리를 대행하는 곳으로 장비 관리를 위한 첨단의 설비와 보안 체계, 네트워크가 구성되어 있는 곳이다. 본 논문에서는 웹 기반 IDC 관리형 모니터링 및 관리시스템의 구조를 제안하고 시스템을 구현한다. 웹에서 효과적인 모니터링 및 관리를 위하여 JAVA 기반의 설계를 하였으며, 인터넷 서비스에 대한 효율적인 관리를 위하여 ICMP 프로토콜을 사용하였다. 제안된 시스템을 이용하여 원격지 서버의 상태나 인터넷 서비스의 전반적인 상태를 일정하게 유지하며 웹을 기반으로 하여 모니터링 및 관리를 수행할 수 있다.

  • Along the era of "Internet of Things (IoT)" in which the physical objects can be connected to the Internet, a smart power management system is proposed in this paper. This system consists of two modules, an electrical outlet device embedding the Wi-Fi capabilities and a web server supporting the management as well as monitoring of power consumptions. Also, with the proposed system, a customer can easily check the status of power consumption and turn on/off the sockets through the developed mobile website. The proposed system is designed to avoid firewall or PC setting problems involving a user's inconvenience.

  • To monitor the flood level under heavy rainfall and the scour at railroad bridge, the system, which can effectively collect, store and transmit the data, is developed and applied to the field. The results in this study are as follows. 1) Monitoring for water level and scour depth is well done in view of the recording velocity and the accuracy of data which are measured. 2) This system is based on the web, internet and it is able to collect the realtime data and to analyze the risk. 3) When water level excesses the limit of danger level of a river on which railroad bridge is located, or when scour depth and angle of inclination of pier is increased, the scenario for early warning signal which sends to managers at central traffic control and drivers of trains is automatically made. It is judged that this system secures the safety of railroad and protects lives of train passengers as the warning signal sends to running train in advance at risky situation of railroad bridge under heavy rainfall.

  • In this paper, we developed a smart black box that can monitor and record the information of the sensor from subsystem in the smart grid system. The plant is the complex power system which is integrated by solar power system, grid-connected power systems, and BESS(battery energy storage system). The black box with the web-server application can connect and synchronize to an external monitoring system and a smart phone. We hope that this system is to contribute to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and stability for the smart grid power system.

An Integrated Emergency Call System based on Public Switched Telephone Network for Elevators

  • Today, most of elevators have an emergency call facility for emergency situations. However, if the network installed in the elevator is also out of power, it cannot be used for the elevator remote monitoring and management. So, we develop an integrated and unified emergency call system, which can transmit not only telephone call but also data signals using PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) in order to remote monitoring and management of elevators, even though a power outage occurs. The proposed integrated emergency call system to process multiple data such as voice and operational information is a multi-channel board system which is composed of an emergency phone signal processing module and an operational information processing module in the control box of elevator. In addition, the RMS(remote management server) systems based on the Web consist of a dial-up server and a remote monitoring server where manages the elevator's operating information, status records, and operational faults received via the proposed integrated and unified emergency call system in real time. So even if there's a catastrophic emergency, the proposed RMS systems shall ensure and maintain the safety of passengers inside the elevator. Also, remote control of the elevator by this system should be more efficient and secure. In near future, all elevator emergency call system need to support multifunctional capabilities to transmit operational data as well as phone calls for the safety of passengers. In addition, for safer elevators, it is necessary to improve them more efficiently by combining them with high-tech technologies such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 PC기반의 웹 서버를 이용한 것이 아닌 리눅스 기반의 임베디드 웹 서버를 제작하여 원격지 하드웨어의 제어와 감시를 구현했다. 리눅스는 2.4.1 버전을 ARM7 보드에 포팅했으며 웹 서버는 GPL(General Public License)규약인 Boa web server를 사용했다. 원격지 감시와 제어를 위해 Cirrus Logic의 ARM7 칩인 EP7312의 GPIO(General Purpose Inpout Output) B포트에 입력장치와 출력장치를 연결시켜 실험하였다. 리눅스 운영체제 환경에서의 GPIO 장치 드라이버를 작성하고 이를 구동시키는 응용프로그램은 리눅스용 C언어를 CGI프로그램화시켜 클라이언트 PC의 웹 브라우저에서 제어와 감시가 가능하게 했다. 이는 기존의 PC기반의 웹 서버를 사용하는 것 보다 비용절감이라는 장점이 있고 또한 운영체제 없이 구현되는 웹 서버보다는 응용 범위의 다양성과 개발기간 단축이라는 장점을 가지고 있다.
