  • Based on the rapid development of IT technology and deployment of the Internet through high speed networks, network environments have been changed from office oriented environment based on business industries and public institution even to the interconnection to digital electronics in the home network. Home network based applications are very diverse and the remote monitoring and control areas have been studied. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a remote real time video monitoring system which provides the moving pictures on the web page through the Internet using JMF. In addition, we present the design and implementation of a remote light control system based on Zigbee.

Heating and Cooling Performance Analysis of Ground Source Heat Pump System in Low Energy House (저에너지주택의 지열히트펌프시스템 냉·난방 성능분석)

  • A ground source heat pump system maintains a constant efficiency due to its stable heat source and radiant heat temperature which provide a more effective thermal performance than that of the air source heat pump system. As an eco-friendly renewable energy source, it can reduce electric power and carbon dioxide. In this study, we analyzed one year of data from a web based remote monitoring system to estimate the thermal performance of GSHP with the capacity of 3RT, which is installed in a low energy house located in Daejeon, Korea. This GSHP system is a hybrid system connected to a solar hot water system. Cold and hot water stored in a buffer tank is supplied to six ceiling cassette type fan coil units and a floor panel heating system installed in each room. The results are as follows. First, the GSHP system was operated for ten minutes intermittently in summer in order to decrease the heat load caused by super-insulation. Second, the energy consumption in winter where the system was operated throughout the entire day was 7.5 times higher than that in summer. Moreover, the annual COP of the heating and cooling system was 4.1 in summer and 4.2 in winter, showing little difference. Third, the outlet temperature of the ground heat exchanger in winter decreased from $13^{\circ}C$ in November to $9^{\circ}C$ in February, while that in summer increased from $14^{\circ}C$ to $17^{\circ}C$ showing that the temperature change in winter is greater than that in summer.

  • A guard lamp system has been installed at the PV positive center, located at Gwangju in Korea. Digital environment that is represented to internet is displacing business way of industry and business achievement way with the fast speed being giving great change on life whole, improve existence business process utilizing internet and Web connection technology, information superhighway to tradition industrialist manufacture and e-transformation's propulsion that wish to maximize productivity and administration efficiency is spread vigorously. In this paper, we wish to accomplish generation equipment's heighten stability and believability through remote monitoring and control of guard lamp system. This paper describes the design of the monitoring system for the sensing data and indirect controlling of the guard lamp system. Most of the conventional monitoring systems depend on the special hardware and software. The essential design of monitoring system is to provide the convenience for the user and the portability for the system. In order for the system to fulfill its requirements, it was designed using Labview GUI facility based on the Windows 2000 environment of IBM PC compatible and Add-on card based on the TCP/IP protocol. Advantage of the monitoring system are a personnel expenses curtailment effect, of the place restriction and unmanned system of the generation plants, etc..

  • The appearance of Web has brought an substantial revolution to all fields of society such knowledge management and business transaction as well as traditional information retrieval. In this paper, we propose an EFASIT(Extended Fuzzy AHP and SImilarity Technology) model considering the emotion analysis. And we combine the Extended Fuzzy AHP Method(EFAM) with SImilarity Technology(SIT) based on the domain corpus information in order to efficiently retrieve the document on the Web. The proposed the EFASIT model can generate the more definite rule according to integration of fuzzy knowledge of various decision-maker, and can give a help to decision-making, and confirms through the experiment.

  • 본 논문에서는 한국과 일본에 위치한 여러 연구기관들 사이에서 수행된 온라인 네트워크 유사동적 실험 결과에 대해 나타내었다.예제 구조물로는 4경간 연속의 면진 교량을 이용하였다. 실험 장비를 보유하고 있는 두 연구기관에서 면진 장치의 비선형 거동에 대한 실험을 수행하고 각 실험 결과를 조합하여 전체 구조의 동적 해석을 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 인터넷을 이용한 두 가지 데이터 전송기법을 이용하여 두 기법의 효율성을 비교, 분석하였다. 또한 최근 국내에 위치한 두 연구기관 사이에서 수행된 실험 결과에 대해 논의하였다. 본 연구에서는 상대 연구기관의 실험 상황 및 수행된 실험 결과의 효율적인 모니터링을 위하여 웹 기반의 자바 모니터링 시스템을 개발하였다. 마지막으로 유선과 무선 인터넷을 이용한 온라인 실험 기법에 대하여 나타내었다. 그 결과, 온라인 네트워크 실험에 소요된 실험 시간은 데이터 전송 기법과 실험장비에 따라 매 시간 단계의 데이터 전송에 0.2-15초, 각 연구기관의 유사동적 실험에 1-10초의 시간이 소요되어 매우 큰 폭으로 변화함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 무선 인터넷을 이용한 온라인 실험의 경우, 뛰어난 이동성과 인터넷 보안성 등과 같은 여러 가지 장점을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • Existing web based information service system solutions show limitations in mobile information services, as well as problems such as uncertain error messages, and difficulty providing swift assistance or real time emergency support. In order to solve these deficiencies, a realtime wireless remote control system has been designed and implemented in this thesis, which is capable of managing and monitoring remote systems using mobile communication devices (Mobile Phone, PDA, Smart Phone) for realtime control. Proposed systems are applied at remote places, for instance 'office building', and a nursery school like 'kindergarten'. In the case of implemented at office building, it can be managing and controlling at real time all sorts of the sensor information that are installed at office building system environment through wire(web environment) or wireless(mobile device). In the other case at kindergarten system that are providing the real-time wireless remote control and monitoring system can be monitoring activity of kindergarten children with a mobile phone of authentication user. The security functions of proposed systems include mobile device user authentication and target system access control. The proposed systems allow real-time user authentication function and system access control function that improve the security of resource administrators and mobile device users, and provides not only uninterrupted services, but also real time mobile service environments.

  • Smart Farm, which combines information and communication technologies with agriculture is moving from simple monitoring of the growth environment toward discovering the optimal environment for crop growth and in the form of self-regulating agriculture. To this end, it is important to collect related data, but it is more important for farmers with cultivation know-how to analyze the collected data from various perspectives and derive useful information for regulating the crop growth environment. In this study, we developed a web service that allows farmers who want to obtain necessary information with data related to crop growth to easily analyze data. Web-based data analysis serivice developed uses R language for data analysis and Express web application framework for Node.js. As a result of applying the developed data analysis service together with the growth environment monitoring system in operation, we could perform data analysis what we want just by uploading a CSV file or by entering raw data directly. We confirmed that a service provider could provid various data analysis services easily and could add a new data analysis service by newly adding R script.

Development of Urban Flood Warning System Using Regression Analysis (회귀분석에 의한 도시홍수 예보시스템의 개발)

  • A simple web-based flood forecasting system using data from stage and rainfall monitoring stations was developed to solve the difficulty that real-time forecasting model could not get the reliabilities because of assumption of future rainfall duration and intensity. The regression model in this research could forecast future water level of maximum 2 hours after using data from stage and rainfall monitoring stations in Daejeon area. Real time stage and rainfall data were transformed from web-sites of Geum River Flood Control Office & Han River Flood Control Office based MS-Excel 2007. It showed stable forecasts by its maximum standard deviation of 5 cm, means of 1~4 cm and most of improved coefficient of determinations were over 0.95. It showed also more researches about the stationarity of watershed and time-series approach are necessary.

  • In this paper, a web based remote control system located at too dangerous field to access for the worker. The system was designed and implemented for three-dimensional stereo camera connected to web server which can be controlled easily by client side person working in the safe monitoring room. The user in the client side can control the vergence/focus control and zoom-in/out and pan/tilt functions through an user interface. The user interface for remote control environment was designed and implemented with Java applet mechanism, and was tested the operation result of the system.
