  • CCD camera is usually used for monitoring device. In most cases, he monitoring is performed from long distance. In this study, a camera system controlled through internet is developed. Using the system, not only we can get image information in real time but also we can control the orientation of the camera from long distance. Furthermore wireless communication is carried out between the camera and the server computer for verity of the application.

  • In this paper, a number of anode and reference electrodes that are installed around the target anti-corrosion objects to monitor, appropriate to your situation of a fixed potential and polarization methods can be applied automatically in the system was developed. In particular, this system was configured with a remote electric anti-corrosion automatic control device that have automatically adjust function to uniformal anti-corrosion in all parts of target objects, a corrosion monitoring device to perform the function of corrosion potential detection and a web-based operating program to perform the function of real-time monitoring, control and prediction. Using this system, by preventing oxidative corrosion phenomena can maximize the life of the target anti-corrosion objects.

  • In thls paper, a remote machine monitoring system for a vimal machine is proposed. The monltonng system is one of the core functmns of a vimd machne that provides a modeling and simulation environment for machining processes and management of the machine life cycle. The proposed system contains the modules for investigating tool wear using neural network and web-based real time process monitoring.   • Within the past decade, TCP/IP network environment has been explosively widespread all over the world. As the internet and the WWW expand their boundaries, the network traffic caused by data transfers over the internet has also increased. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a WebTraMAS (Web-based Traffic Monitoring and Analysis System) which can resolve the shortcomings of current management approaches, particularly on the network traffic monitoring and analysis. The WebTraMAS presented in this paper performs the network management activities based on the parameters related to the MIB-II of SNMP and the parameters related to the QoS such as network performance and fault. The proposed WebTraMAS, implemented using the WWW technology, is able for the network manager to manage the network easily and platform independently with the performance analysis of internet traffic.

  • As the web service technology matures. research is focused on the composite web services that combine individual web services within an enterprise or between enterprises. Quality of service is the critical competitiveness factor in this mature technology stage where there are many services with similar functionalities differing only in some non-functional properties. Monitoring is the key component for the service quality management of a web service. A service quality monitoring system design using a broker is presented in this paper. OWL-S is used to specify the composite service process and a service policy (inputs and outputs of each service, quality attributes and values, etc.) built by WS-Policy is applied to the composite service process. If there is any discrepancy between the service policy and the monitored data, the service provider and the user are notified of it so as to take necessary measures. We have implemented a travel reservation system as an example of the presented design and the experimental results are shown. Average response time was monitored and the timeout policy was applied in the experiment.

  • Nowadays social environment is rapidly changed toward globalization and information age, and which demands the new paradigm for active utilization of information system in many fields. The increasing availability and ease of accessibility of the internet using world wide web have resulted in an enormous increase in the amount of nutrition information in countries with advanced information technology. However, Domestic web services in nutrition field are neither diverse nor professional currently. Nutrition experts need to take advantage of the resources offered though the web and take an active role in providing reliable and accurate information and preventing the growth of nutrition misinformation though web. Nutrition web sites on a variety of subjects should be developed depending upon the objectivity of nutrition resources and the target clients. Nutrition-related organizations are responsible for monitoring nutrition web information and encouraging open discussion and evaluation of hot issues among experts, and between experts and clients through the internet.

  • In this paper, we have implemented the Web Server Patient Monitoring System using PPP. It is composed of two parts. The first part is the Analog board for acquiring ECG signals. The second part is the module for processing and transmitting the acquired signal. The second part is using PPP for dial-up networking, TCP/IP for Internet, HTTP for web browser and JAVA program for a Patient Monitoring Program in one chip. In home, it is not need to establish another network line because it uses a telephone line. And a user who want to monitor a patient's biosignal can monitor a patient without wholly open network because it is the network sewer. The Patient Monitoring Program runs on a web browser by downloaded JAVA codes when a user connect to this system. It can make the Home Patient Monitoring Program decrease cost. It can help to avoid the limitation of monitoring a patient.

  • A BIPV(Building Integrated PV) system is united by a constituent outer covering and can expect dual effects that reduce expenses for the establishment of a PV system. It is a profitable technology because it does not need a building as it is a stand alone PV system. In this paper, output characteristics analysis of PCS and web-based monitoring of 10kW BIPV, were stimulated and examined for validity. The BIPV system proposed in this paper was established in at BIC (Biotechnology Industrialization Center) of Dongshin University, which was composed with PCS and Web-monitoring system.

  • The goal of this study was to propose building strategies of web-based national park monitoring system (WNPMS) using geographic information analysis system. To accomplish this study, at first, this study selected and made integrated management indicators considering physical, ecological, and socio-psychological carrying capacity in national park. Secondly, this study built up an integrated management this system with statistical analysis program for execution of various multivariate analysis and spatial analysis. Finally, WNPMS could identify the relationship among visitors, natural resources, and recreation facilities in national park, and forecast the future management status of each national park in Korea. There results of this study will contribute to prevent the damage of natural resources and facilities, improve visitor's satisfaction, prevent an excess of carrying capacity at national park, and established tailored management strategies of each national park.

  • This paper is about a system development which control and monitor a PLC of the remote-distance through the Internet using the web-browser. In general, the PLC uses its own communication protocol of PLC Manufacture. It is actually impossible to be used through the Internet, because the PLC communication protocol is basically developed to be suitable for short-distance. Therefore, what we need is a transformation system which can convert the PLC communication protocol into the form which can connect to the Internet. In that sense, this paper is that about remote-control method through the WWW ( World Wide Web ). This system have three characteristics. First, it is possible to connect the Internet directly irrespective of CPU, Operating system and browser. Second, it is easy for user to access and treat. Third, it needs only HTML to operate without java or plug-in expansion. In this paper, we will introduce the monitoring and control system of PLC on the Linux with the Apache web-server.
