The current study examined the case of a branded-entertainment channel and the mechanism of the advertising instrument that leads to purchase intention. The specific purpose of this research is to investigate whether there is evidence of the role of narrative transportation and the fantasy proneness leading towards purchase of the brand advertised. To arrive at the conclusion, the study using web series sponsored by an artificial sweetener brand and employs a quantitative survey to question the audience. The findings contribute toward the understanding of how consumers respond to branded entertainment via video-sharing platforms. It is indicated that the stories presented in the web series can stimulate the audience to fantasize. Thus, the advertising message conveyed through narrative persuasion can form a favorable attitude toward the brand, which leads to intention to purchase. Practical elements are identified along with limitations and future research suggestions.

  • This paper discusses a multi-dimensional analysis for Customer Relationship Management (CRM). For this, We propose a decision-making methodology which employs three analysis models. The first model is a three-dimension positioning map to derive a strategy which achieves the Process Value Line (PVL). The second model is the web-shape analysis model to visibly understand the individual based on the customer CSI (Customer Satisfactory Index) data. The third model which supports the web-shape analysis model, is the relative satisfactory analysis model. It considers a satisfaction level after purchasing against before purchasing. Then we perform overall analysis based on the three analysis models to provide marketing strategies to decision makers.

  • Electronic learning(or e-learning) has created hype for companies, universities, and other educational institutions. It has led to the phenomenal growth in the use of web-based learning and experimentation with multimedia, video conferencing, and internet-based technologies. Many researchers are interested in the factors that affect to the performance of e-learning or e-learning services. In this sense, this study is aimed at proposing e-learning system reuse prediction models in which e-learner intention to reuse influence factors(i.e., system accessibility, system stability, information clarity, information validity, self-regulated efficacy, computer self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, flow, and parental expectation) affect e-learner intention to reuse positively. A web survey was conducted for the full members of the e-learning education institute A in Seoul, Republic of Korea, an exclusive e-learning company that provides real time video lectures via the desktop conferencing system. The web survey was conducted for 20 days from November 5, 2009, through the e-learning web site of the company A. In this study, three data mining techniques were used : the multivariate discriminant analysis, CART, and C5.0 algorithm. This study was conducted to provide the e-learning service providers, e-learning operators, and contents developers with marketing and management strategies for improving the e-learning service companies, based on the data mining analysis results.

We also examines the effects of 3 realms of experience (entertainment, esthetic, escapist) on emotional arousal, how this emotional arousal affects memory and positive word-of-mouth, how memory affects positive word-of-mouth and how age moderate all of the paths. We examined a total of 297 visitors and was conducted through an online survey focusing on Chinese users of ages 20-49. The analysis results showed that entertainment and esthetic have an effect on emotional arousal, but escapist did not. The results also showed emotional arousal has an effect on memory and positive WOM. Memory did not affect positive word-of-mouth. Finally, age has a moderate effect on all the paths, except for the path form escape towards emotional arousal and memory to positive word-of-mouth. The theoretical implications of this study are meaningful exhibition research. • A webzine issued by a public institution not only plays a role in communication between members of the institution and its users, but is itself a meaningful record. In addition, as one of the management techniques of the archives, there is a growing awareness that active marketing is needed to promote the service and allow potential users to visit the archives. Therefore, efforts should be made to increase user satisfaction by identifying user needs, composing content reflecting them, and selecting user-centered interfaces appropriately. The purpose of this study is to design 'On-Gi', a newsletter of the Presidential Archives, as a user-participating smart platform in a smart device environment. As a research method, we first looked at the current status of webzine publication by relevant domestic institutions. Next, we compared and analyzed the issue of 'On-Gi' provided by the Presidential Archives and major contents. Based on this, a design model of the webzine for the marketing of the Presidential Archives was proposed. This can be used as a key marketing strategy for the Presidential Archives in the new user environment of technological innovation of smart devices.
