  • 오늘날 공동작업 환경을 필요로 하는 그룹에 있어서 그룹내의 구성원들은 보다 효율적인 정보의 교환과 공유를 원한다. 따라서 그룹에서 발생한 정보의 공유와 체계적인 관리, 구성원간의 실시간 의사교환 등의 기능을 지원하는 공동작업시스템이 필요하게 되었다. 이러한 요구를 충족시키는 통합 시스템으로 정보의 공유공간과 문서의 관리 그리고 실시간 메시지 전달 기능을 제공하는 CoWare 시스템이 개발되었다. 기존 CoWare 시스템은 CGI 기반으로 개발되어 코드의 재사용이 어렵고, 서버가 과부하 되는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 보완하고자 컴포넌트 기반으로 시스템을 재 설계함으로써 서비스의 질과 서버의 확장성 및 성능을 향상시켰다. 또한, 다중 사용자 요청을 효과적으로 처리하고 안정적인 서비스를 지원하기 위하여 MTS를 이용하여 개발하였다.

  • 본 연구는 e러닝 환경에서 웹 기반 학습자간 상호작용 학습증진을 위한 스터디 그룹 활동지원시스템 개발을 위한 실질적 사례를 제시하는 데 있다. e러닝 환경 웹 기반학습의 단점을 보완하기 위하여 함께 학습이 가능하도록 제안되었고, 학습자들간의 상호작용을 증진시킬 수 있는 자료실 정보교환, 화상토론, 동영상강좌 동시 시청 가능도 설계되었다. 대학생 254명 대상 49개 그룹으로 학습자간의 상호작용을 통한 학습만족도를 조사하고 그 결과를 분석 해보았다. 또한 협동학습을 통한 스터디 그룹 활동은 개인별 상호작용 활동지수로 나타내어 학습만족도와의 상관관계를 증가시킬 수 있는 하나의 온라인 학습 커뮤니티 모형을 제시함으로서 e러닝 사이트나 학습 시스템을 설자하고 구현하는데 참고가 될 수 있으리라 기대한다.

  • 최근 스마트폰의 보급률이 높아짐에 따라, 사용자들이 스마트폰을 사용하여 컨텐츠를 즐기는 시간이 많아졌다. 이후 모바일 웹에서 서비스되는 만화들이 연달아 대중들의 이목을 끌게 되어 네이버 웹툰, 다음 웹툰 등 웹툰 서비스 및 웹툰 플랫폼이 증가하고 있다. 또한 웹툰 데이터의 가치와 신뢰성도 점점 높아지고 있어, 영화 애니메이션 게임 등 콘텐츠 사업에 많은 데이터가 사용되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 나이, 성별, 선호 카테고리, 선호 웹툰 플랫폼 등과 같은 개인 성향 기반으로 협업 필터링 방법을 적용하고, 웹툰의 방대한 데이터를 효과적으로 관리하기 위해 클라우드 컴퓨팅 시스템인 AWS(Amazon Web Service)를 이용하여 개인 성향에 맞게 웹툰을 추천해주는 웹툰 추천 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 웹 기반 협동설계시스템은 인터넷망과 웹브라우저를 이용하여 공유된 가상 공간에서 협동작업이 이루어지도록 한다. 이때 공유 오브젝트는 3D 도형이 되며, 사용자가 임의의 오브젝트를 선택하여 조작하기 위하여 picking이 효과적으로 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 오브젝트의 picking이 마우스 포인터에서의 ray와 오브젝트간에 intersection을 계산하는 방법 외에 Java 3D API를 이용하여 scene graph의 노드에 picking 속성을 주는 방법, bounds를 설정하는 방법, picking test의 범위를 한정하는 방법을 사용하여 computation의 부담을 줄이고 효과적인 picking이 이루어지도록 한다.

  • 인터넷이 발달함에 따라 인터넷을 이용하여 정보를 생성하고 공유하기 위한 협업을 수행하는 사용자와 그룹이 점점 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 효과적으로 정보를 공유하고 협업할 수 있도록 DokuWiki 시스템에서 메일을 공유할 수 있는 서비스를 지원한다. 협업을 수행할 때, 다른 구성원들이 메일을 공유함으로써 더욱 편리하게 정보교환이 가능하다. DokuWiki 는 협업 시스템으로 적합하지만 통신수단을 제공하지 않는다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 효율적인 협업작업을 위하여 개인 또는 그룹에 전송된 전자메일을 모두 공유할 수 있도록 하기 위해 DWCS 을 제안한다.

  • A ultimate purpose of education is to develop their ability that learners is able to solve present or future immediate problem well. In order to, the educator checks question settlement conditions and leads steadily, the learner needs various data and information for question settlement, and needs communication with many various people. By the way, WEB becomes the source of various data and information that it is naccesary to solve problem for freedom navigation of internet, because accelerates interaction quality communication needed question settlement process, offers the best studying environment for problem solution drilling. A methodolagical tactics for accelerating learner's question solution activity is helped by small-group action drill. According to, this treatise develops system of question solution drilling with web for a basis by small group action drill, applies the fifth grade it experimentally.

Broadcast Content Recommender System based on User's Viewing History (사용자 소비이력기반 방송 콘텐츠 추천 시스템)

  • This paper introduces a recommender system that is to recommend broadcast content. Our recommender system uses user's viewing history for personalized recommendations. Broadcast contents has unique characteristics as compared with books, musics and movies. There are two types of broadcast content, a series program and an episode program. The series program is comprised of several programs that deal with the same topic or story. Meanwhile, the episode program covers a variety of topics. Each program of those has different topic in general. Therefore, our recommender system recommends TV programs to users according to the type of broadcast content. The recommendations in this system are based on user's viewing history that is used to calculate content similarity between contents. Content similarity is calculated by exploiting collaborative filtering algorithm. Our recommender system uses java sparse array structure and performs memory-based processing. And then the results of processing are stored as an index structure. Our recommender system provides recommendation items through OPEN APIs that utilize the HTTP Protocol. Finally, this paper introduces the implementation of our recommender system and our web demo.

  • As the Internet spreads, many people have interests in e-CRM and product recommender systems, one of e-CRM applications. Among various approaches for recommendation, collaborative filtering and content-based approaches have been investigated and applied widely. Despite their popularity, traditional recommendation approaches have some limitations. They require at least one purchase transaction per user. In addition, they don't utilize much information such as demographic and specific personal profile information. This study suggests new hybrid recommendation model using two data mining techniques, association rule and classification, as well as intelligent agent to overcome these limitations. To validate the usefulness of the model, it was applied to the real case and the prototype web site was developed. We assessed the usefulness of the suggested recommendation model through online survey. The result of the survey showed that the information of the recommendation was generally useful to the survey participants.

  • Customer needs for final products are very unpredictable because product specifications and technologies are being improved very quickly thereby their requirement level is also elevated correspondingly. In order to survive and to enhance competitiveness in the global market, many manufacturing companies are trying to find a breakthrough from collaborization. Even though they want to collaborate with others, however, they do not exactly know what kind of system they have to develop or which technology they have to use. In this paper, therefore, we first investigate status and trend of information systems and infrastructure that are essential for collaboration. We then clearly describe definition and classification of collaboration with various point of views considering collaboration pattern, timing condition of collaborative activities, organizational structure, etc. With web-based collaboration systems already developed by i-Manufacturing (Korean-style Manufacturing Innovation) project, led by Korean government from 2004, we introduce main functions and analyze collaboration types of each system. Strategically important technologies for supporting collaboration will also be illustrated by reorganizing collaborization technologies after evaluating them with respect to emergency and importance of each technology. We hope this research will provide a guideline on collaboration especially for small and medium sized manufacturing companies.

The Cooperation System Development for the Self-production of Content between Instructor and Learner (교수-학습자간의 콘텐츠 자체 제작을 위한 협력 시스템 개발)

  • Online education, commonly referred to as distance education, has developed rapidly. However, it is questionable whether such distance education has been applied to various educational fields and has achieved satisfactory results in terms of learning effect. One of the reasons for not maximizing the benefits of distance education is non-dynamicity in the production and application of educational content. Educational contents production is made up of collaborative work between the instructor who is the contents expert and the developer who is the production expert. For this reason, existing researches have also concentrated on the improvement of each educational effect. In this paper, we propose to replace a production expert from a developer to an instructor. At this time, the important point is that the educational contents produced by the instructor, who is a development non-expert, should still be able to be maintained with high-quality contents utilizing the characteristics of the web. For this purpose, the production system was developed based on open source to maintain the quality similar to the educational contents developed by the production expert. This will increase the effectiveness of education by applying the developed Smart-Blended Learning System to various educational sites.
