Formative assessment of student progress and attitudes is important to our continuous improvement process, but collecting and compiling the data is burdensome without access to computer tools. This research is to set up a mobile computer based lab that will enable faculty who teach in rooms without computers to use testing and survey tools. The technologies necessary to develop such system including wireless communication, World Wide Web (WWW), database, and mobile computing are investigated in this research. The real-time based formative assessment of student is proposed. A hardware configuration for real-time assessment is also presented in the research.

웹 기반 교수 시스템들은 대체로 수동적이며 정적인 하이퍼텍스트 위주이기 때문에, 학습자 개개인의 학습 능력에 따른 적응력 있는 학습 환경을 제공할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 학습 자들의 학습 상황을 효과적으로 파악하고, 학습 결과에 따라 학습자 개개인의 특성에 맞는 동적인 학습 내용을 구성하여 제공할 수 있는 지능형 교수 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 에이젼트를 기반으로 설계되었으며, 학습을 위한 코스웨어 지식을 효과적으로 구성하여 학습 평가에 따른 적절한 피드백을 추론하여 학습자에게 지원하도록 하고 있다.

A nuclear power plant is composed of a number of primary components. Maintaining the integrity of these components is one of the most critical issues in nuclear industry. In order to maintain the integrity of these primary components, a complicated procedure is required including regular in-service inspection, failure assessment, fracture mechanics analysis, etc. Also, experts in different fields have to co-operate to resolve the integrity issues on the basis of inspection results. This integrity evaluation process usually takes long, and thus, is detrimental for the plant productivity. Therefore, an effective safety evaluation system is essential to manage the integrity issues on a nuclear power plant. In this paper, a web-based fatigue life evaluation system for primary components in nuclear power plant is proposed. This system provides engineering knowledge-based information and concurrent and collaborative working environment through internet, and thus, is expected to raise the efficiency of integrity evaluation procedures on primary components of a nuclear power plant.

본 논문에서는 자바 언어를 학습하는데 있어 효율성을 증가시키기 위해 인터넷 기반 자율학습시스템이 제안되었다. 제안된 자율학습시스템은 JWP(Java Web Player)라고 불리며 Java Web Start 기술을 활용하여 웹상에서 실행이 가능한 자바 애플리케이션 프로그램이다. 또한 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 언어를 학습하는데 있어 3가지 중요한 일련의 과정인 개념학습과정, 프로그래밍 실습과정, 그리고 학습 성취도 평가과정을 Java Web Start 기술을 이용하여 JWP에 통합하였다. 제안된 시스템은 학습과정을 교육공학적인 측면에서 멀티미디어 요소를 강화하였기 때문에 학습자가 흥미를 가지고 자발적으로 학습을 할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 더욱이 JWP 에는 효율적인 자바 언어 학습을 위해 학습내용에 대한 설명이 음성으로 출력되며, 이때 이와 관련된 이미지와 텍스트들이 동기화되어 동시에 화면에 표시된다. 더욱이 소스파일의 코딩, 에디팅, 실행 그리고 디버깅 등을 쉽게 할 수 있는 컴파일러가 삽입되어 있어 편리한 자바 언어 실습환경을 제공한다. 마지막으로 각 단원별 돌발퀴즈와 마무리 테스트를 통하여 학습자가 자신의 학습상황을 체크하여 반복학습을 할 수 있도록 유도하였다.

웹의 발달로 세계 각국에서는 웹상에서 교육할 수 있는 코스웨어 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 비주얼 베이직 언어도 웹기반 교육으로 많이 개발되고 있으나 실용적인 내용과 실습을 필요로 하는 주제임에도 불구하고 실습 환경이나 다양한 상호작용을 제공하지 않아 학습 효과를 높이지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 웹기반 교수-학습 체제 설계모형을 기반으로 하여 1) 멀티미디어 요소를 가미하고 2) 실습환경으로 학습자의 학습효과를 높이고 3) 학습자의 반응을 분석, 평가하여 적절한 피드백을 제공하고 4) 학습자들간의 상호작용이 활발히 이루어질 수 있도록 하기 위해 5) Real Active X등의 기술을 이용해 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 개발하고 이를 학교 현장에 적용시켜 보았다.

Web science, a general discipline of learning is presently at high demand of expertise with ideas to develop software-based WebApps and MobileApps to facilitate user or customer demand e.g. shopping etc. electronically with the access at their smartphones benefitting the business enterprise as well. A worldwide-computerized reservation network is used as a single point of access for reserving airline seats, hotel rooms, rental cars, and other travel related items directly or via web-based travel agents or via online reservation sites with the advent of social-web, e-commerce, e-business, from anywhere-on-earth (AoE). This results in the accumulation of large and diverse distributed databases known as big data. This paper describes a novel intelligent web-based electronic booking framework for e-business with distributed computing and data mining support with the detail of e-business system flow for e-Booking application architecture design using the approaches for distributed computing and data mining tools support. Further, the importance of business intelligence and data analytics with issues and challenges are also discussed.

In this paper, we present the methodology of performance testing for web based university resource planning systems. The methodology contains an adequate procedure and workload assessment method. We execute real performance testing to the university resource system during system test stage. To verify the adequacy of the methodology, We compare the result between testing system's hardware utilization and operating system's. The result is nearly the same. Empirical experiments are also shown.

KFD 웹 데이터베이스 시스템은 가족미술치료사들의 요구사항을 반영하여, 방대한 평가 자료의 관리 및 효율적인 사정평가 과정의 지원을 위해 개발된 프로토타입 시스템이다. 그러나 KFD 웹 데이터베이스 시스템은 내담자가 그림을 그리는 동안의 행동패턴, 얼굴 표정, 그리고 음성 정보등과 같은 중요한 관찰요소들에 관한 정보는 얻을 수 없다는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 웹 카메라와 그림판 툴을 이용하여 내담자의 KFD 작업 과정을 녹화하고, 녹화된 영상 내의 주요 이벤트들을 인덱싱하여 가족미술치료사가 KFD 동영상을 분석하고 검색할 수 있도록 온톨로지 기반의 이벤트 분석 및 검색 시스템을 제안한다. 즉 새롭게 제안된 시스템에서는 가족 구성원에 관한 내담자의 이벤트 및 행동분석에 관한 요약 보고서와 함께 비디오 검색 서비스가 제공된다. 제안된 KFD 동영상 내의 이벤트 분석 및 검색 시스템은 가족치료사에게 내담자의 작업태도 및 행동, 그리고 KFD 작성과정에 대한 정량적이고, 객관적인 정보를 제공함으로써 보다 강화된 KFD 사정 평가를 지원할 수 있다.

마이크로티칭은 교사들의 모의수업을 녹화한 후 피드백 평가 성찰의 과정을 통하여 수업 스킬을 개선하도록 돕는 교수-학습방법이다. 마이크로티칭과 관련된 선행 연구를 분석한 결과, 마이크로티칭을 진행하면서 발생하는 시간적 물리적 부담을 줄이고, 더욱 의미 있는 성찰의 기회를 제공할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 웹 기반 마이크로티칭 지원 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템을 통해 마이크로티칭 동영상을 공유하고, 전체 절차와 단계별 활동을 구조화할 수 있으며, 수업 계획서 업로드 체크리스트 등을 통해 마이크로티칭 활동이 보다 체계적이고 심도 있게 이루어지도록 하였다. 또한 다양한 유형의 피드백을 원하는 시점에 정확하게 입력할 수 있는 기능을 지원하였다. 이 시스템은 교사들의 수업스킬 증진뿐만 아니라 프레젠테이션, 면접 스킬을 향상시키는 데 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
