In order to develope a mobile-based greenhouse energy calculation program, firstly, the overall thermal transmittance of 10 types of major covers and 16 types of insulation materials were measured. In addition, to estimate the overall thermal transmittance when the cover and insulation materials were installed in double or triple layers, 24 combinations of double installations and 59 combinations of triple installations were measured using the hotbox. Also, the overall thermal transmittance value for a single material and the thermal resistance value were used to calculate the overall thermal transmittance value at the time of multi-layer installation of covering and insulating materials, and the linear regression equation was derived to correct the error with the measured values. As a result of developing the model for estimating thermal transmittance when installing multiple layers of coverings and insulating materials based on the value of overall thermal transmittance of a single-material, the model evaluation index was 0.90 (good when it is 0.5 or more), indicating that the estimated value was very close to the actual value. In addition, as a result of the on-site test, it was evaluated that the estimated heat saving rate was smaller than the actual value with a relative error of 2%. Based on these results, a mobile-based greenhouse energy calculation program was developed that was implemented as an HTML5 standard web-based mobile web application and was designed to work with various mobile device and PC browsers with N-Screen support. It had functions to provides the overall thermal transmittance(heating load coefficient) for each combination of greenhouse coverings and thermal insulation materials and to evaluate the energy consumption during a specific period of the target greenhouse. It was estimated that an energy-saving greenhouse design would be possible with the optimal selection of coverings and insulation materials according to the region and shape of the greenhouse.
For disaster management and mitigation of earthquakes in Korea Peninsula, active fault investigation has been conducted for the past 5 years. In particular, investigation of sediment-covered active faults integrates geomorphological analysis on airborne LiDAR data, surface geological survey, and geophysical exploration, and unearths subsurface active faults by trench survey. However, the fault traces revealed by trench surveys are only available for investigation during a limited time and restored to the previous condition. Thus, the geological data describing the fault trench sites remain as the qualitative data in terms of research articles and reports. To extend the limitations due to temporal nature of geological studies, we utilized a terrestrial LiDAR to produce 3D point clouds for the fault trench sites and restored them in a digital space. The terrestrial LiDAR scanning was conducted at two trench sites located near the Yangsan Fault and acquired amplitude and reflectance from the surveyed area as well as color information by combining photogrammetry with the LiDAR system. The scanned data were merged to form the 3D point clouds having the average geometric error of 0.003 m, which exhibited the sufficient accuracy to restore the details of the surveyed trench sites. However, we found more post-processing on the scanned data would be necessary because the amplitudes and reflectances of the point clouds varied depending on the scan positions and the colors of the trench surfaces were captured differently depending on the light exposures available at the time. Such point clouds are pretty large in size and visualized through a limited set of softwares, which limits data sharing among researchers. As an alternative, we suggested Potree, an open-source web-based platform, to visualize the point clouds of the trench sites. In this study, as a result, we identified that terrestrial LiDAR data can be practical to increase reproducibility of geological field studies and easily accessible by researchers and students in Earth Sciences.
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is one of the technologies which represent the core value of the creative economy. It has served as a vehicle connecting the existing industry and corporate infrastructure, developing existing products and services and creating new products and services. In addition to the ICT, new devices including big data, mobile gadgets and wearable products are gaining a great attention sending an expectation for a new market-pioneering. Further, Internet of Things (IoT) is helping solidify the ICT-based social development connecting human-to-human, human-to-things and things-to-things. This means that the manufacturing-based hardware development needs to be achieved simultaneously with software development through convergence. The essential element the convergence between hardware and software is OS, for which world's leading companies such as Google and Apple have launched an intense development recognizing the importance of software. Against this backdrop, the status-quo of the software market has been examined for the study of the present report (Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology: Professional Design Technology Development Project). As a result, the software platform-based Google's android and Apple's iOS are dominant in the global market and late comers are trying to enter the market through various pathways by releasing web-based OS and similar OS to provide a new paradigm to the market. The present study is aimed at finding the way to utilize a smart content by which anyone can be a developer based on OS responding to such as social change, newly defining a smart content to be universally utilized and analyzing the market to deal with a rapid market change. The study method, scope and details are as follows: Literature investigation, Analysis on the app market according to a smart classification system, Trend analysis on the current content market, Identification of five common trends through comparison among the universal definition of smart content, the status-quo of application represented in the app market and content market situation. In conclusion, the smart content market is independent but is expected to develop in the form of a single organic body being connected each other. Therefore, the further classification system and development focus should be made in a way to see the area from multiple perspectives including a social point of view in terms of the existing technology, culture, business and consumers.

Following the technology developments of traffic network and communication for the wide area, the importance of the cooperation system to vitalize the wide area economy is increasing. Therefore, in this study, DongNam Kwon industry information system is established for the industrial information sharing based on GIS in the DongNam Kwon wide area economy. The DongNam Kwon is an industrial integration area centered with the manufacturing so that the operation of effective industrial cluster and cooperation systems are required across the administrational boundaries. To establish the database of the information, the information system was established utilizing already established industrial databases in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam. But, various issues caused by the discordances among the data of each local government and the insufficiency of GIS based location information have been found. According to the analysis, the standardization considering the courses of collection, distributions and utilization are required immediately to solve the issues. This study establishes an 2-way industrial information system enabling the information creation and the phased approach between the administrator and the user in the bi-directions on the web by utilizing cadastral and numerical maps. The result of this study would have a meaning in providing a fundamental frame for cooperative responses and cooperation system for DongNam Kwon's industrial promotion using industrial information sharing.

In this paper, we proposed a system and a scenario to raise efficiency of gas safety management by developing wireless ZigBee communication modules, smart-home gas safety appliances and the system suitable for gas safety. Our designed system consists of a micom gas meter, an automatic extinguisher, sensors, and a wall-pad. A micom-gas-meter monitors gas flow, gas pressure, and earthquake. An automatic fire extinguisher checks combustible gas leaks and temperature of $100^{\circ}C$(cut off) and $130^{\circ}C$(fire). Sensors measure smoke and CO gas. In our novel system, a micom-gas meter cut off inner valve with warnings, an automatic fire extinguisher cut off middle valve and spray extinguishing materials, and sensors generate signals when detecting smoke and CO and then take a next action. Gas safety appliances and sensors automatically takes measures, and transmit those information to a wall-pad. The wall-pad again transmits real time information to server. Users can check and manage gas safety situations by connecting BcN server through web or mobile application. We hereby devised scenarios for gas safety and risk management based on the smart, and demonstrated their efficiency through test applied to filed.

The research of psychological supporting systems as safety and welfare for disaster victims damaged psychologically as well as physically by a sudden disaster to return to effectively their social life has been carried. The domestic National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) is operating the Disaster Victim Psychology Support Center that helps with curing damaged psychology and studies the transmission system of psychology management services, the classification of victims for disaster psychology support, and emergency consultation method to systemically support disaster psychology management. However, current psychology supporting centers provide the simple information for supporting centers such as medical and social welfare organizations. The development research of IT-based management systems to obtain needed information to construct the proposed systems curing psychological damage is still primitive step. Therefore, this paper shall propose a GIS-based integrated management system for victims and managers to effectively share related information one another and to return to victims' social life as soon as possible. Also, we implement a simple prototype system based on the Web. The proposed system supports the spatial search and statistical analysis based on map as well as keyword search, because having the location information on disaster victims, damage occurrence places, welfare and medical institutions, and psychological supporting centers. In addition, this system has the advantage reducing the frequency of disaster damage by providing aids in making efficient policy systems for the managers.
This study purposed to benchmark the number of patients who visited an oriental medicine hospital from its surrounding regions using data envelopment analysis (DEA) model, and to analyze the relationships between regional characteristics and efficiency scores from DEA. Study data was collected from one oriental medicine hospital operated in a metropolitan city in Korea. Patient locations were identified at the smallest administrative district, Dong, and number of patients was calculated at the Dong level based on the address of patients in hospital information system. Socio-demographic variables of each Dong were identified from the Statistics of Korea web-sites. DEA was used to benchmark the number of patients between Dongs and to compute the efficiency scores. Tobit regression analysis model was applied to analyze the relationship between efficiency scores and regional variables. 6 Dongs were identified as efficient after DEA. In Tobit analysis, number of medical aid recipients and number of total population in each Dong was significant in explaining the differences of efficiency scores. The study model introduced the application of DEA model in benchmarking the patients between regions. It can be applied to identify the number of patients in each region which a hospital needs to improve their performances.
With increasing interest in 3D printing, the interest in the 3D modelling training that should precede the 3D printing is increasing. However, the existing 3D modelling software is developed mostly by foreign brands. Thus, the interfaces are all in English. 3D modelling software training for Korean novices who are not familiar with these terms has constraints. This study aims to explore what to consider when developing a Korean model for 3D modelling educational software for 3D printing in the face of such reality. For this goal, after having novices with no experience in 3D modeling to perform a house building task using either 12D Design or Tinker CAD, we conducted a survey. It was found in the result that more users favored Tinker CAD over 123D Design, and the errors involved while working with the Tinker CAD were less than those with the 123D Design, and the ratio of people who completed the task with the Tinker CAD was higher than that with the 123D Design. In general discussion, an introductory level educational 3D modeling software development is proposed which utilize characteristics of Tinker CAD (easy modelling is possible by three-dimensional figures) and web-based method. Also, a beginner/intermediate level educational 3D modeling software development is proposed which utilize characteristics of 123D Design (with finer measurement manipulations and figure alignment) and Windows-based method.
Many users visit websites every day to perform information retrieval, shopping, and community activities. On the other hand, there is intense competition among sites which attempt to profit from the Internet users. Thus, the owners or marketing officers of each site try to design a variety of marketing strategies including cooperation with other sites. Through such cooperation, a site can share customers' information, mileage points, and hyperlinks with other sites. To create effective cooperation, it is crucial to choose an appropriate partner site that may have many potential customers. Unfortunately, it is exceedingly difficult to identify such an appropriate partner among the vast number of sites. In this paper, therefore, we devise a new methodology for recommending appropriate partner sites to each site. For this purpose, we perform site clustering from the perspective of visitors' similarities, and then identify a group of sites that has a number of common customers. We then analyze the potential for the practical use of the proposed methodology through its application to approximately 140 million actual site browsing histories.
The researches about gaze recognition which current user gazes and finds the location have increasingly developed to have many application. The gaze recognition of existence all about researches have got problems because of using equipment that Infrared(IR) LED, IR camera and head-mounted of high price. This study propose and implement the gaze recognition system based on SVM using a single PC Web camera. The proposed system that divide the gaze location of 36 per 9 and 4 to recognize gaze location of 4 direction and 9 direction recognize user's gaze. Also, the proposed system had apply on image filtering method using difference image entropy to improve performance of gaze recognition. The propose system was implements experiments on the comparison of proposed difference image entropy gaze recognition system, gaze recognition system using eye corner and eye's center and gaze recognition system based on PCA to evaluate performance of proposed system. The experimental results, recognition rate of 4 direction was 94.42% and 9 direction was 81.33% for the gaze recognition system based on proposed SVM. 4 direction was 95.37% and 9 direction was 82.25%, when image filtering method using difference image entropy implemented. The experimental results proved the high performance better than existed gaze recognition system.
