Component method model for predicting the moment resistance, stiffness and rotation capacity of minor axis composite seat and web site plate joints

  • Codes EN 1993 and EN 1994 require to take into account actual joint characteristics in the global analysis. In order to implement the semi-rigid connection effects in frame design, knowledge of joint rotation characteristics ($M-{\phi}$ relationship), or at least three basic joint properties, namely the moment resistance $M_R$, the rotational stiffness $S_j$ and rotation capacity, is required. To avoid expensive experimental tests many methods for predicting joint parameters were developed. The paper presents a comprehensive analytical model that has been developed for predicting the moment resistance $M_R$, initial stiffness $S_{j.ini}$ and rotation capacity of the minor axis, composite, semi-rigid joint. This model is based on so-called component method included in EN 1993 and EN 1994. Comparison with experimental test results shows that a quite good agreement was achieved. A computer program POWZ containing proposed procedure were created. Based on the numerical simulation made with the use of this program and applying regression analysis, simplified equations for main joint properties were also developed.

  • 최근에 WCDMA, LTE 등 이동통신망의 기술 발달과 모바일 폰의 성능 향상과 보급 확대로 모바일 폰을 이용한 M-commerce가 급속도로 확산되고 있다. 모바일 쇼핑몰은 보통 인터넷 쇼핑몰과는 다른 별도의 사이트로 구축되어 운용되고 있다. 이는 별도 사이트 구축에 따른 비용 추가는 물론, 유 무선 환경간의 콘텐츠 비연동으로 인하여 사이트 운영의 비효율성을 초래한다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 쇼핑몰로부터 사용자에게 관심 있는 상품 항목을 추출하여 모바일 쇼핑몰 콘텐츠를 구성하는 M-commerce 콘텐츠 제공자 시스템을 개발하고, 인터넷 쇼핑몰에 적용하고, 평가한다. 평가 결과는 사용자의 모바일 폰에 전송되는 데이터가 일반 웹브라우저를 사용한 경우와 비교해서 크게 감소된다는 것을 보여준다.

The Impact of Japanese Electronic Products' Perceived Risk on Avoidance Intention

  • Purpose: This study's goal is to investigate how perceived risk of Japanese electronic product affect the negative emotion and the avoidance intentions. In addition, this is difference in the effect of perceived risk on negative emotions and avoidance intentions according to the presence or absence of substitutes. Research design, data and methodology: Perceived risks of Japan products are decided by four dimensions, they are economic risk, social risk, psychological risk and physical risk. The reach model is made by the theory of risk-avoid. We requested this survey to 5808 customers by panel and web site, received 559 replied. We used 528 questionnaires excluding unreliable data. For the analysis, smart PLS is used. Results: Psychological risk has influence on negative emotion and avoidance intension. Social risk and physical risk affected negative emotion, but did not directly affect avoidance intention. Economic risk affects avoidance intension, but it has no effect of negative emotion. The existence of Japanese products' substitute only effects the relationship of economic risk and avoidance intention. Conclusions: Korean consumers behavior their buying and using of Japan product as financial benefit and satisfaction, not only risk. It is suggested that Korean company should make and develop unique product with good price.

Flexural Behaviors of Precast Prestressed Rectangular and Inverted-tee Concrete Beams for Buildings

  • Flexural behaviors of the two typical precast beam sections (inverted tee and rectangular) for buildings were investigated and compared. The height of web in the inverted tee beam was generally less than half of beam depth to be adapted to that of the nib in the ends of double-tee where the total building height limited considerably. The inverted-tee beams were designed for a parking live load - 500kgf/$m^2$ and a market - 1,200kgf/$m^2$ from the currently used typical shape of a domestic building site in Korea. The area and bottom dimension of rectangular beams were the same as those of inverted tee beams. These woo beams were also reinforced with a similar strength. following results were obtained from the studies above; 1) the rectangular beam is simpler in production, transportation, and erection, and more economic than the inverted tee beam in the construction test for these two beams with a same dimension and a similar strength, 2) all of the beams considered in the tests were generally failed in values close to those of the strength requirements in ACI Provisions. The ratios of test result to calculated value are averaged to 1.04. One rectangular and one inverted tee beams failed in a value only 2-3% larger than the estimated volue of the Strength Design Methool the results of the Strain Compatibility Method wire slightly more accurate than those of the Strength Design Method, 4) the maximum deflections of all of the beams under the full service loads were less than those of the allowable limit in ACI Code Provisions. The rectangular beams experienced more deflection then inverted tee in the same loading condition and failed with more deflection, and 5) the rectangular and inverted tee beams showed good performances under the condition of service and ultimate loads. However, one inverted tee beams with fm span developed an initial flexural crackings under 88% of the full service load even though they designed to satisfy the ACI tensile stress limit provisions.

The bottom dimension and area of rectangular beams are same to those of inverted tee beams to compare the flexural behaviors of two beams. These two beams are also reinforced for similar strength. Four flexural tests are performed on two beams. Following results are obtained from the tests; 1) The rectangular beam is simpler in production, transportation, and election, and more economic than the inverted tee beam for these two beams with same dimension and similar strength. 1) The estimations of flexural strength of two beams by Strength Design Method and Strain Compatibility Method is fully complied with the result of tests. However, Strain Compatibility Method is slightly ore accurate than Strength Design Method. 2) Overall deflections of two type beam under the service loads are less than those of the allowable limit in ACI Code provision. 3) The rectangular beam is failed in large deflection (average 12.56mm large) than those of inverted tee beams. 4) The rectangular and inverted tee beams with 6m span develop initial flexural crackings under the 88% of full service loading even though they designed to satisfy the ACI tensile stress limit provisions.

  • 4차 산업혁명 시대에 건설산업은 전통적인 업무 방식에서 디지털 프로세스로 전환하고 있다. 특히, 건설산업의 특성으로 인해 업무 절차의 변경에는 어려움이 따르며, 점진적인 디지털 전환 및 시행착오가 발생하고 있다. 건설현장의 안전관리 분야도 역시 이 흐름을 따라 모든 데이터의 디지털화와 자동화를 목표로 연구 및 시도가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 최근의 통계에 따르면, 건설업 안전사고는 계속해서 발생하고 있으며, 안전사고 사망자 수도 줄지 않고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 건설공사 안전관리 종합정보망의 빅데이터를 대규모 언어모델 인공지능을 통해 분석하였다. 분석된 결과는 실시간으로 업데이트가 가능한 상세설계모델로부터 위치정보와 공간적 특성을 반영하여 안전관리가 필요한 현장모델링에 정보를 맵핑하였다. 해당 연구를 통해 건설현장 안전관리 데이터의 디지털화를 통한 시설물 및 근로자의 안전을 강화하고, 건설사고 예방 및 효과적인 교육 지시를 위한 빅데이터 기반 안전관리 플랫폼 개발을 목표로 한다.

연안산업 분야별 수요조사를 통한 맞춤형 연안기상 콘텐츠 설계방안 연구 (A study on the design of customized coastal weather contents based on the demand survey with coastal industry fields)

  • In this study, the use survey of domestic and international weather information on coastal regions and the demand survey (e.g. general and in-depth surveys) for customer needs with coastal industries were carried out to design customized coastal weather contents. The general demand survey showed that most of the customers working in the coastal industries were interested in a short-term forecast, such as a general weather outlook (approximately 29% of the total respondents) and typhoon information (19%), and they preferred to be given the forecast information from new media such as the internet web-pages (36%) and mobile utilities (23%) rather than old media such as TV (16%) and radio (11%). In addition, only 31% of the total respondents were found to be satisfied with the use of the current coastal weather service. This low percentage might mainly be a result of lack of information accuracy (about 64%) and diversity (28%). From in-depth survey with site visiting, the need of coastal weather contents, such as weather elements, data form, a tool of communication, and forecast interval, differed with the working stages in three coastal industries (e.g. shipbuilding, maritime trade, and passenger transport industries).

현대 패션에 나타난 대화식 패턴 일러스트레이션의 표션분석 - 인체표현을 중심으로 - (An Expressive Characteristics of Conversational Pattern Illustration in Modern Fashion - Focused on Human Body -)

  • Fashion illustration as conversational pattern which is made up of human and daily story creates brand image and new cultural value in textile design. The purpose of this study is to analyze an expressive characteristics focused on human body in conversational pattern illustration. The method of this study was to analyze documentaries, fashion magazines and internet fashion web site. The results were as follows: The category of body expression was classified as the head, the bust, the whole body, and the others. Most of all, the head is higher frequency than any other part. The category of body type was classified as iconic reappearance and surreal fantasy. The former expressed gender images of woman and man in reality and showed high frequency of 90.41%. Above all, two types were to show the organic correlation between fashion illustration body and brand concept. The construction method of motif was classified as singleness of body, repetition of body, singleness of body and non-body mixed, and repetition of body and non-body mixed. The repetition of body showed low frequency and it was composed of regular repetition construction and irregular construction. The singleness of body and non-body mixed, showed the highest frequency and it was definitely to communicate fashion concept. In these days, conversational pattern illustration in modern fashion pattern strengthens brand identity and informs the fashion image as creative commercial art. And also, it satisfies cultural sensibility of consumer and categorizes public phenomenons in our times.

  • This study is aimed to identify the color characteristics of the current Korean Brand Apartment, focused on the color of kitchens and dining rooms in the cyber model houses. The Brands which were selected for this study ranked from first to fifth in the contractor ranking and now account for 64 percent of the apartments in sale in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. In addition, the size between $99m^2$ and $165m^2$ were selected, because it was most preferred at the 2011 survey for user preference on the size of apartment. As this study is for the colors shown on the monintor, colors were extracted from the images of web site with L*, a*, b*. And then, they were converted to Munsell values through computer program, which values were used to identify the color characteristics of hue, tone and to apply the theory of Moon Spencer. The result of the study on the color characteristics of the kitchen and dining room of the five brands' apartments is as follows. Regarding the color use, most of the brands used Y and YR color while as the accent color, P, PB and G were used. This result of main color use for hue was same as the guideline by the literature review, but color for tone showed the difference between brands and the difference between sizes. Next, regarding the color combination, first ambiguity of color harmony was shown the most. And the larger the size was, the more the contrast of color harmony was shown. It means that the color tone had close relation with the sizes of households.

지식교환 웹사이트에서 개인특성과 사용자 관여가 지식공유행위에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Personal Characteristics and User Involvement on Knowledge Sharing in the Knowledge-Exchange Website Context)

  • 지식공유의 효과와 지식공유의 중요성 때문에 MIS 분야에는 지식공유연구에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으나, 지식교환 웹사이트에서의 지식공유의 영향과 관련한 연구는 많지 않다. 본 연구는 지식교환 웹사이트에서 개인특성변수인 정보기술에 대한 개인의 혁신성, 컴퓨터 자기효능감, 컴퓨터 불안감 및 사용자 관여와 지식공유행위간의 관계를 밝히고자 한다. 연구자들은 지식교환 웹사이트 내에서 지식공유경험이 있는 사용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 유효표본 총 241개를 수집하였다. 또한 연구모형 검증을 위해 연구분석방법으로 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 자료분석 결과 지식공유행위는 개인의 혁신성, 컴퓨터 자기효능감, 컴퓨터 불안감 및 사용자 관여에 의해 직간접적으로 영향을 받는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 개인의 혁신성과 지식공유에 대한 연구의 영역을 확장했을 뿐만 아니라, 정보공유에 대한 실질적인 사례를 대상으로 한 연구를 통해 지식공유를 촉진하는 지식공유 애플리케이션의 설계와 지식교환 웹 사이트의 성공간의 관련성을 밝히고자 하였다.
