  • A Smart TV is the multi TV which have not only function ability of general TV but also web service and application as like smartphone based on internet. In this paper, we suggest the web system for cooking recipes as smart TV application. This system have a game function by simulation and we can enjoy this cooking recipes application as a game.

  • Virtual Reality (VR) is widely used in various fields, and it is expanding game and movie toward health care, business Software, education, and web services. Especially various researches are actively conducted in the field of exhibition, utilizing smart phone based detachable HMD (Head Mounted Display). The VR exhibition solves addresses both temporal and spacial constraints overcoming the unilateral information transfer exhibitions. This paper presents a method to overcome the limitation of time, space, and unidirectional information transfer in offline exhibition, and also presents a new method that utilizes multimedia visual design artwork as VR contents.

  • The primary concern here is to discover the what and how of the computer same development. A Game Framework Development for Smart TV (스마트 TV용 게임 프레임워크 개발)

  • Smart TV has been the most popular communication device since 2010. It is the multi-functional device conjugated a variety of features such as Apps, Web surfing, viewing VOD and so on. However, the contents and development tools for smart TV are still relatively small and research for game contents development tools is also insufficient. In this study, we are to design and develop a framework for developers to make Smart TV game contents easily. The STGF (Smart TV Game Framework) we developed is made up of 3 managers such as input manager, screen data process manager, and game status process manager. We verified the usefulness of STGF through developing "Pentomiro" App launched commercially in 2013. With STGF development time would be expected to be reduced, because we spend little time in basic development steps such as input, output, and data processing and error correction processing.

A Development of Game Scenario Authoring Tool (게임 시나리오 저작도구의 개발)

  • Game scenarios are playing more important role as much as games are getting more sophisticated and expanded in their applications. However, general-purpose tools for production of game scenarios are still not developed. There are similar tools for the production of films or dramas and simple tools for the development of UCG. However, analysis about them shows that they are not suitable for the production of game scenarios. In this paper, we are to develop game scenario authoring tool called 'UMa' suitable for game production and easy to use. UMa is composed of synopsis entry, quest entry, DB entry, communication, display, and control component. Since UMa provides templates to make synopsis, quest, and DB, users can produce them very easily. Especially, characters and items DB are stored independently so that they may be reused to the production of scenarios for follow-up or another game. Using UMa, users can write game scenarios more easily and quickly and cooperate with each other at the same time by Web.

Blockchain for the Trustworthy Decentralized Web Architecture

  • The Internet was created as a decentralized and autonomous system of interconnected computer networks used for data exchange across mutually trusted participants. The element technologies on the Internet, such as inter-domain and intra-domain routing and DNS, operated in a distributed manner. With the development of the Web, the Web has become indispensable in daily life. The existing web applications allow us to form online communities, generate private information, access big data, shop online, pay bills, post photos or videos, and even order groceries. This is what has led to centralization of the Web. This centralization is now controlled by the giant social media platforms that provide it as a service, but the original Internet was not like this. These giant companies realized that the decentralized network's huge value involves gathering, organizing, and monetizing information through centralized web applications. The centralized Web applications have heralded some major issues, which will likely worsen shortly. This study focuses on these problems and investigates blockchain's potentials for decentralized web architecture capable of improving conventional web services' critical features, including autonomous, robust, and secure decentralized processing and traceable trustworthiness in tamper-proof transactions. Finally, we review the decentralized web architecture that circumvents the main Internet gatekeepers and controls our data back from the giant social media companies.

Many researchers had been working on exploring the meaning and ways to realize the comfortability in physical sites. With the appearance of huge amount of Web sites, which provide a variety of services like electronic commerce, network game, search engines and so on, there are many researchers working on the definition of Web Usability.   • XML was applied to web-Based application system for efficient data supervision and processing. Also, ASP permitted embodiment of easy web-Based programming, and UML is studied by the new alternative of system modelling techniques. Thus, In this paper see embodied student taking a course application management system using XML, ASP, UML. This was composed, and used XML for effective data supervision and processing by student mode and administrator mode. Also, It used UML for systems analysis and design, and whole system implemented by ASP. And, Database implemented to used in MS-ACCESS, and it used java Script language for efficient practical use of web document.

  • Game Software is the high-value industry that is based on fun elements. To develop Game Software successfully, the method for systematically classifying and searching about fun elements needs. However, fun elements of game are still made by game developers 'experience', and have ambiguities about what are considered at development phase because of difference between viewpoints and definitions about them. We structured 9 groups and 34 fun elements after that 50 fun elements elicited from existing literature are classifies and refines by statistical analysis. And we found a omitted area with the result that the classified elements are applied to Roger Callois's Theory. Finally, we elicited new elements of omitted areas from web site and searched 1 group and 4 fun elements.

The study for the analysis and implementation of Alternate Reality Game by media convergence (미디어 융합에 따른 대체현실게임의 분석 및 구축에 관한 연구)

  • The latest convergence of broadcasting and communication makes the boundary between medias be ambiguous. It pursues the new type of culture that the unspecified many participants seek the satisfaction for the same target in an realtime environment. ARG(Alternative Reality Game) is a new alternate real game created by media convergence and it processes the more realistic interactivity between users through ARS, SMS, BLOG, Cafe and Messages. This paper analyzes the implementation, design, and construction schemes of ARG in the side of the human thinking and media. We also propose the evolution and role of the broadcasting by combining broadcasting for the activation of ARG.
