This paper describes the result of wearing test on the Sangju test track. The purpose of the test is to evaluate an amount of wearing for EMU's panto shoes. Panto shoes are affected in wearing by environment of owing to expose the vehicle. Especially, the rainy season, they are found easy to get an increase in wearing of panto shoes. To evaluate an amount of wearing, we ca]lied out running test for 5 months under the ground line conditions.

This study utilized the wearing test of subjects and a preference survey to determine wearing preference on types of blouses according to shoulder angle. The shoulder angles of the subjects were set as average shoulder, slopping shoulder, and square shoulder. The blouse sleeves were set as set-in, raglan, and kimono according to five domestic clothing construction books. A total of 15 blouses were made and tested by different bodices and sleeve types. The wearing test of subjects had the human subjects evaluate the appearance of the subject looking at the mirror while standing as well as evaluated the sensation test while not looking at the mirror. The preference survey was given to 100 females and was conducted using photos with combinations of three types of sleeves and shoulder angles in a survey under the same conditions. The average shoulder showed that set-in with the highest score in the wearing test was also preferred in the preference survey. The slopping shoulder evaluated the highest score in the wearing test by mirror; however, the preference survey showed that raglan was the most preferred choice. The squared shoulder showed that raglan with a high score in the wearing test by mirror was also preferred in the preference survey.

This study is to develop the well-fit brassieres by wearing test of available brassieres for girls . The 11 elementary school girls aged 12 participated in the wearing test. The test procedure consisted of a rating on fit and performance according to brassiere types, a try on test of 3 types of brassiere and a sensory test on fit. The results of this study are as follows ; 1. The results of fit rating on different brassieres. Compared among brassiere types, tank top type proved the most effective, from a viewpoint of wearing effects. All types of brassiere performed well in bust up effect. Especially tank top type brassiere showed the best of them. 2. The results of the sensory test and comparative test. With regard to wear comfort, most of the subject assessed tank top brassiere to be the most comfortable . As for freedom of movement, it is disclosed that the subjects prefer tank top brassiere. As a result, brassiere for girls strongly require size adjustment, physical and psychological comfort through full overage of breast area.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the dynamic balance and activity of internal oblique muscle, multifidus muscle, gluteus maximus muscle, biceps femoris muscle during the Y balance test following the wearing of pelvic compression belt. Forty healthy adults were recruited for this test. The dynamic balance score was estimated as the following: (anterior+posteromdial+posterolateral)/($3{\times}leg$ length)${\times}100$. The electromyography signals were measured through %reference voluntary contraction, which was normalized by reference voluntary contraction of Y balance test without wearing the pelvic compression belt. The paired t-test was carried out to compare the dynamic balance score and the activity of the trunk and hip extensor with and without the wearing of pelvic compression belt. The dynamic balance score of the Y balance test when wearing pelvic compression belt was significantly than when measured without wearing the pelvic compression belt (p<.05). The muscle activity of the internal oblique and the multifidus was significantly decreased when wearing pelvic compression belt (p<.05). The muscle activity of the gluteus maximus was significantly increased when wearing pelvic compression belt (p<.05). However, there was no significant difference in hamstring muscle activity, with or without wearing the belt (p>.05). In conclusion, this study shows that the wearing of pelvic compression belt affects trunk muscle and hip extensor muscle activity related to the pelvic mobility and stability and increases dynamic balance and also contributes to the stabilization of the external pelvic stabilization.

This study was performed to find ways to improve the wearing comfort of high school boys' summer uniforms. The subjects were 640 boy students of high schools in Cheongju and Ansung city. The data was collected self-administered questionnaires to measure the actual wearing condition and the wearing satisfaction. Factor analysis, t-test, and F-test were used for data analysis. The results were as fellows: 1) Most students were wearing shirts made of polyester/rayon blended fabrics and pants made of wool/polyester blended fabrics. 2) Most students were wearing round neckline T-shirts or running shirts as underwears of the shirts, and trunks as pants. 3) About a half of respondents had altered their summer uniforms, and main alteration of their uniforms was focused on making their pants narrow. 4) The wearing satisfaction of uniforms were classifies into three factors: aesthetic, moving function, thermal comfort wearing sensation. 5) They evaluated the wearing sensation of school uniforms of shirts and pants with low satisfaction. 6) There were partially significant differences in three factors of the wearing satisfaction according to the uniform's fabrics, the wearing of underwear and the alteration of uniform.

Based on five types of health KF masks currently being commercialized, this study analyzed results of a survey of 316 male and female college students with experience in wearing health masks in Seoul metropolitan area. By identifying problems and improvement requirements according to current status of wearing health masks, results of this study could be used as basic data for designing ergonomic health mask with improved ease of wearing and satisfaction for human safety protection in the future. SPSS 26.0 statistical program was used for all data analyses, including post-hoc test, χ² test for cross-analysis, frequency analysis, independent samples t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan test. Considering that masks are worn for more than 8 hours a day on average, it is necessary to design masks considering materials, sizes of mask ear straps, elasticity and thickness of straps. The design should minimize contact with lips and cheeks with improved fit and comfort, blocking performance, and aesthetics. According to this survey, nearly 50% of respondents said they were willing to wear masks even after the end of COVID-19. Thus, it is necessary to perform research and improve masks to have excellent colors, designs, shapes, fit, and functions suitable for both pandemic and post-pandemic era when wearing masks is common.

This study analyzed the difference of selection criteria when buying socks and wearing satisfaction related to socks according to demographic characteristics and fashion interest degree for the adults in their from 20s to 40s. Factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan multiple range test were used for data analysis. The result of factor analysis for selection criteria when buying socks showed that the drawn factors were design and coordination, hygiene and wearing comfort and practicality. The difference analysis results about selection criteria when buying socks showed that design and coordination, hygiene and wearing comfort, and practicality were significantly different according to gender, age, and occupation, and that design and coordination and practicality were significantly different according to marital status. The result of difference analysis for selection criteria when buying socks according to fashion interest degree showed that design, coordination, hygiene, wearing comfort and practicality were significantly different. The result of factor analysis for wearing satisfaction of socks showed that the drawn factors were wearing comfort, hygiene, durability, and design. The difference analysis results about wearing satisfaction of socks showed that design was significantly different according to gender and marital status, wearing comfort and design significantly different according to age, wearing comfort, hygiene, and design were significantly different according to occupation. According to fashion interest degree, wearing comfort and design showed the significant difference.

This study is to develop the well-fit clean room smocks by wearing test of 2 available clean room smocks and a revised smock. 20 female subjects individually participated in the wearing test. The test procedure consisted of a rating on fit and adaptability and comparative test according to clean room smock types. The summaries of results are as follows : 1. The results of fit and adaptability rating on different clean room smocks showed that the revised type proved the most effective from a viewpoint of fitness and adaptability, 2. As far as the result of comparative test are concerned, most of the subject assessed the revised type is the most comfortable. As for freedom of movement, it is disclosed that the subjects prefer the revised type too.

Many people who wear skinny jeans have expressed satisfaction or concern regarding the side effects of wearing the garments, based on specific demographic characteristics. For this study, we disseminated 373 copies of a questionnaire. Study subjects were eighteen-to fifty-nine-year-old man and women Linear regression was used for data analysis. Descriptive statistics included the ${\chi}^2$ test, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan multiple range test. Corresponding results in terms of difference analysis overall were significant when based on gender, marital status, age, occupation and the average score of satisfaction. The values were approximately three points. The qualitative results of difference analysis for side effects in wearing skinny jeans according to demographic characteristics were identified as the experience of displeasure by pressure. There was a significant difference according to gender. Leg edema was also observed based on gender, marital status, age, occupation and the experience of poor circulation of blood. The factor that has the greatest influence on satisfaction on wearing skinny jeans was sitting long hours.

The purpose of this study was to provide a blouse pattern of high school girls' uniform for production of good silhouette and fitness blouse as well as functionality. In this study, we compared blouse patterns of high school girls' uniform made in the three brands of higher market share being compared. The blouse was the most common design of high school girls' uniforms being sold. In addition, we compared characteristics of appearance and functionality of blouse patterns by the wearing test. Based on the results of pattern comparison and wearing test of the blouses, the new blouse pattern for high school girls' uniform was developed. The results of the wearing test for appearance showed that the developed blouse obtained statistically higher ratings than the existing brands in almost items. The results of the wearing test for functionality of the developed blouse showed that items related with sleeve cap were evaluated a rating below 3. In order to improve functionality, the developed blouse pattern was changed that the sleeve cap was lowered by 0.5cm and the sleeve breadth increased by 1cm. The drafting of the new blouse pattern was developed.
