Objective: A single-patient case study on the use of OCNT for cervical spinal stenosis. Methods: A50-year-old Korean male with frequent leg muscle cramps and severe muscle weakness was treated with OCNT. Results: After OCNT, pain and cramps disappeared, and muscle strength improved to the point of no longer hindering daily activities. Conclusion: OCNT can be beneficial in alleviating symptoms of pain and muscle weakness in patients with cervical spinal stenosis.

Acute stroke with isolated monoparesis manifesting as distal weakness of a single lower extremity has rarely been described. We report two patients with small cortical infarction who had distal weakness of a single lower extremity. In both cases, diffusion-weighted image [DWI] was used to detect small lesions in the contralateral cortex. These cases illustrate that small cortical infarction can cause isolated monoparesis limited to distal part of the leg and it may be misdiagnosed as spinal lesions, especially when lower back pain and transient sensory symptoms are accompanied. In case of the abrupt onset of weakness limited to one lower limb, the possibility of stroke should be considered and careful attention to identify cortical lesions using magnetic resonance imaging, especially DWI is required.

Lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) is a common spinal disease in the elderly. The cardinal symptom of LSS is neurogenic claudication, but not all patients present with such typical symptom. The clinical symptoms are often confused with symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, musculo-skeletal disease and other medical conditions in elderly patients. In particular, LSS presenting with rapid progression of leg weakness must be distinguished from other combined diseases. We report a case of rapid progressive leg weakness in a patient with LSS and iatrogenic adrenal insufficiency that was induced by obscure health supplement.

Wei symptom(痿證) is symptom that reveals muscle relaxation without contraction an muscle relaxation occurs in the lower or upper limbs, in severe case, leads to death. The symptoms of Wei symptom are weakness, atropy of muscle, gait disturbance, etc. We studied to evaluate the oriental medical treatment on a patient with Wei symptom. We applied various methods of oriental medical treatment including herb medicine, acupunture, moxibustion, herb acupunture. The clinical symptoms that were both lower limbs weakness, gait disturbance, etc. were improved after the methods of oriental medical treatment. The results suggest that oriental medicare is an effective treatment for Wei symptom, but more extensive research is needed.

It is difficult that we understand "Due to pathogenic Gi(因於氣)" in "Somun(素問) Saenggitongcheonron(生氣通天論)", because that is too many comments. We are to interpret Gi(氣) as Wind(風) or Anger(怒). However, the most reasonable explanation is to Yang-Gi weakness(陽氣虛). In other words, pathogenic Gi of four seasons should violate Yang-Gi(陽氣) and become a Yang-Gi weakness. Sayu(四維) can be interpreted as limbs[四肢], the last month of each of the four seasons[四季], four seasons[四時]. It is a logical view of the four seasons. This meaning is that it was already Yang-Gi weakness state by pathogenic-Gi of four seasons which violate Yang-Gi(陽氣), again the pathogenic Gi of four seasons violate Yang-Gi. As a result Yang-Gi will drain.

In this paper, we propose a method for mitigating for mitigating the effect of voltage of voltage sag in radial power distribution systems using load transfer switching (LTS). The term of LTS is defined that the weakness load points for voltage sag transfer to the alternative source during the fault clearing practices. The sequenced of proposed LTS method is divided into the search of weakness points for voltage sag using the risk assessment model and transfer behavior of weakness points. The search of weakness point is carried out using the risk assessment model of voltage sag and Monte Carlo simulation method and the historical reliability data in Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) are also used. Through the case studies, we verify the effectiveness of proposed LTS method and present the searching method of effective application points of LTS method using the risk assessment model.

In this paper, we implemented a static analysis tool for weakness. We implemented on JavaCC using syntax information and control flow information among various information. We also tested the performance of the tool using Juliet-test suite on Eclipse. We were classified using information necessary for diagnosis and diagnostic methods were studied and implemented. By mapping the information obtained at each compiler phase the security weakness, we expected to link the diagnostic method with the program analysis information to the security weakness. In the future, we will extend to implement diagnostic tools using other analysis information.

Cerebrovascular disease causes various symptoms like hemiparalysis, facial palsy, dysphagia, dysphasia etc. Although patients take lots of time to treatment, there are many cases symptoms could not be cured completely and patients could get sequelae. Jihwangeumja(dihuangyinzi) is used the cerebrovascular disease with dysphasia and motor impairment of the lower extremities due to weakness of kidney. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Jihwangeumja on lower extremity weakness caught by cerebrovascular disease. In this study, we administered Jihwangeumja to two stroke patients with lower extremity weakness and analyzed the clinical progresses. As a result of the treatment, patients showed improved symptoms.

웹의 등장은 멀티미디어 기술과 컴퓨터 통신 기술 개발의 가속화 및 이를 응용한 컨텐츠 개발에 촉진제 역할을 하게 되었다. 최근에는 교수-학습 활동에서의 새로운 형태인 웹을 기반으로 한 교육(WBI : Web-Based Instruction)이라는 교수 모형이 제시되기에 이르렀다. 또한, 개별 학습자의 학습 수준을 고려한 학습 및 평가 방식이 요구되고 있으며, 그에 따라 웹 기반 교육 시스템에 효율적이고 자동화된 교육 에이전트의 필요성이 인식되고 있다. 그러나 현재 연구되고 있는 많은 교육 시스템들은 학습자 성향에 맞는 학습 과정을 적절히 서비스해 주지 못할 뿐 아니라 지속적인 피드백과 학습자가 학습 과정에 따라 학습을 진행함에 있어서 취약한 부분을 재학습 할 수 있도록 도와주는 서비스를 원활히 제공하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 취약성 분석 알고리즘을 이용한 학습자 중심의 코스 스케줄링 멀티 모듈 시스템의 설계를 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 먼저 학습자의 학습을 지속적으로 모니터링하고 평가하여 개인 학습자의 학습 성취도를 계산하며, 이 성취도 계산을 통해 나온 단원별 취약성을 에이전트의 스케줄에 적용하여 학습자에게 취약한 과목을 재학습 할 수 있는 학습 환경을 제공하고, 학습자는 이러한 학습 환경에 따라 반복된 학습을 통하여 완전학습을 수행하게 된다.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of atopic dermatitis patients based on the personal health records (PHR) according to age and Sasang Constitution, and to find basic data for daily life management using the personal health record. Methods We analyzed the characteristics of atopic dermatitis patients based on PHR (symptoms, emotional state, SCORAD Index, five viscera weakness questionnaire, etc.), and Sasang Constitution collected for 6 weeks in 34 patients (or guardians). Results Each item of the SCORAD Index score in children and adolescents showed that children and adolescents have significantly higher edema than adults. However, repeated measurement of the SCORAD Index showed a significant positive improvement over time regardless of age and constitution. In terms of the symptoms of atopic dermatitis, there was a significant correlation between age and swelling, quality of life and effusion, pruritus (itch) and sleep disturbance in relation to the general characteristics of the subject. In the five visceral weakness scores, adults had significantly higher spleen weakness, liver weakness, kidney weakness scores than in children and adolescents. All results showed a high tendency to have a high lung weakness score, which was more pronounced in children and adolescents. Conclusion This study is meaningful to confirm the correlation between SCORAD Index items related to the symptoms of atopic dermatitis, and to identify trends for specific items by ages and Sasang Constitution.
