A large floating structure is attracting great attention in recent years from the view of ocean space utilization. Its huge scale in the horizontal directions compared with the wavelength and relatively shallow depth make this type of floating structure flexible and its wave-induced motion be characterized by the elastic deformation. In this paper, a boundary integral equation method is proposed to predict the wave-induced dynamic response mat-like floating offshore structure. The structure is modeled as an clastic plate and its elastic deformation is expressed as a superposition of free-vibration modes in air. This makes it straightforward to expand the well-established boundary integral technique for rigid floating bodies to include the hydroelastic effects. In order to validate the theoretical analysis, we compare with the experimental result of previous model test. Satisfactory agreement is found between theory and experiment.

Recently, floating offshore structure is studied as one of the effective utilization of the ocean space. And floating structure are now being considered for various applications such as floating airports, offshore cities and so on. The analysis of the dynamic response as it receives regular wave is studied. The finite element method is used in the analysis of structural section of this model. And the analysis is carried out using the boundary element method in the fluid division. In order to know the characteristics of the dynamic response of the floating structures, effects of wavelength, water depth, and wave direction on dynamic response of the floating structure are studied by use of numerical calculation.

WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) based-on fixed wavelengths is a new means of utilizing the bandwidth of optical fibers. In this Paper, an improved virtual topology called "(a, $\beta$,${\gamma}$) ShuffleNet " is introdced for designing large-scale WDM switches. The proposed one is an architecture created by vertically stacking x planes of a ($\beta$,${\gamma}$) ShuffleNet in parallel via $\beta$r nodes called "bridge nodes" so that N-by-N(N=(x*$\beta$${\gamma}$*${\gamma}$) switching is achieved based on the self-routing algorithm for each ($\beta$,${\gamma}$) ShuffleNet. With the topological parallelism, in contrast to the conventional virtual topologies, the diameter of 2${\gamma}$ hops can be fixed and high utilization and performance are provided while N increases. Such a scalability characteristic allows to design a growable broadband switch. As for the delay, we show that the traffic locality, due to the topological feature. result in low delay characteristics.lay characteristics.
In the present paper routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) in optical WDM networks is considered. Previous techniques based on the combination of integer linear programming and graph coloring are complex and require extensive use of heuristics. Such methods are mostly slow and sometimes impossible to get results due to infeasibility. An alternative approach applied to RWA employs on the greedy algorithm for obtaining the maximum edge disjoint paths. Even though this approach is fast, it produces a solution for any connection request, which is very far from the optimal utilization of wavelengths. We propose a novel algorithm, which is based on the maximum flow technique to obtain the maximum quantity of edge, disjoint paths. Here we compare the offered method with previous maximum edge disjoint paths algorithms ap plied to the RWA.

In this paper, we applied a group scheduling algorithm to core nodes in an optical burst switching (OBS) network and measured its performance by simulation. For the case of core nodes with multi-channel input/output ports, performance of the group scheduling has been compared to that of the immediate scheduling. Since the group scheduling has a characteristic of scheduling a group of bursts simultaneously in a time window using information collected from corresponding burst header packets arrived earlier to a core node, simulation results show that the group scheduling outperforms the immediate scheduling in terms of both burst loss probability and channel utilization and the difference gets larger as the load increases. Another node configuration in which wavelength converters are equipped at the output ports has also been considered. In this case, even though both performance metrics of the group scheduling are almost the same as those of the immediate scheduling in the offered load range between 0.1 and 0.9, the group scheduling has lower wavelength conversion rate than the immediate scheduling by at least a factor of seven. This fact leads us to the conclusion that the group scheduling makes it possible to implement more economical OBS core nodes.

A multichannel optical slotted ring network is designed using a wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) technique and photonic packet switching devices. The electronics speed bottleneck is removed out of the ring, which allows utilization of the full bandwidth for the optical fiber transmission medium. The ring channel adopts a slotted ring concept with a destination cell remove strategy for the eing access mechanism. The slot size in the ring is selected as the same as that of ATM based cell in order to be used as B-ISDN Access Networks. In this paper, we devised a mathematical method to measure the average transfer delay characteristics of the network. The analytical method turned out to yield accurate results over a broad range of parameters in comparison to simulation results. From the study, we observed the average transfer delay of the network as the network parameters vary.
In this paper, n study a distributed establishment scheme to setup lightpath in WDM/TDM Network considering user traffic characteristics. We propose a GBTA(guaranteed-bandwidth time-slot allocation) algorithm which assigns time-slots according to the requred traffic so that it can utilize given network resources efficiently in RWTA(routing and wavelength time-slot assignment) schemes. We consider traffic specification on the basis of ATM traffic classes. Also, in order to increase link utilization and minimize blocking probability, we extend distributed lightpath establishment protocol based on GBTA algorithm. In order to establish lightpath in distributed WDM/IDM network, we use backward resonation protocol that resewes resource with recent information. We use DOWTns(Distributed Optical WDM/TDM ns) that is extended from NS(Network Simulator), in order to verify proposed GBTA-based optical wavelength routed network.

The recent explosion in the Internet applications, Internet. host number and the traffic in the IP backbone network is posing new challenges for transport network. This requires a high-speed IP backbone network that has a substantially higher bandwidth than the one offered by current networks, which prompts the development of all-optical network. To obtain optical network utilization gains, we need a software which establishs logical topology to make possible the efficient use or physical topology, and control the optical network in combination with the IP layer routing protocols. Finally, the logical topology is required higher efficient than physical topology. For this an efficient algorithm for the routing and wavelength assignment(RWA) in the WDM all-optical network is necessary. In this paper, two kinds of heuristic algorithms to establish logical topology for WDM networks and arc applied to the design of logical topology of domestic backbone network. These algorithms are found to work quite well and they arc compared with each other in terms of blocking rate, etc.

CCTV is mainly used as a real-time detection system for critical facilities. In the case of CCTV, although the accuracy is high, the viewing angle is narrow, so it is used in combination with a sensor such as a radar. LiDAR is a technology that acquires distance information by detecting the time it takes to reflect off an object using a high-power pulsed laser. In the case of lidar, there is a problem in that the utilization is not high in terms of cost and technology due to the limitation of the number of simultaneous processing sensors in the server due to the data throughput. The detection method by the optical mesh sensor is also vulnerable to strong winds and extreme cold, and there is a problem of maintenance due to damage to animals. In this paper, by using the 1550nm wavelength band instead of the 905nm wavelength band used in the existing lidar sensor, the effect on the weather environment is strong and we propose to develop a system that can integrate and control multiple sensors.
