Most water tanks operating have been managed by people's five senses. A human material resource have been wasted awfully at this. In the present study, we suggest the wireless integrated system for managing water tank of reducing the wastage human resources and on-line real time managing efforts of water tanks. Water level sensor works the pump sending the data from water tank control to the wireless control on sensing water level. At this time, every kind data which happens in the water tank transmits the line transmission modem. Data to be received from the line transmission modem is stored at the database after we record the logs by each hour. We display the result to the web pages, after checking the pump motion, the pump error, the water level, the solar battery error, the chemicals, and the telephone line to the foundation data to be saved. Furthermore, this paper suggests empirical applications of the proposed wireless integrated system for managing water tank in order to verify its feasibility.

A study was conducted to significantly increase the heat transfer area by simultaneously burying the excel pipe in the floor and wall of a container house, thereby greatly reducing the initial heating time. In addition, a small hot water boiler suitable for the heating load of a small container house with a maximum area of 6 m2 was studied. A wall-mounted hot water boiler was developed as a result of the study. When a hot water boiler is installed outdoors for heating, heat radiation energy is lost in winter from the hot water boiler and hot water pipe due to the low temperature. We propose an approach through which the energy loss was greatly reduced and the temperature of hot water increased in proportion to the operating time. Moreover, as the mass flow rate of the hot water flowing inside the excel pipe increased, the temperature of the hot water decreased. The temperature of the wall and floor surfaces of the container house increased in proportion to the increase in the mass flow rate of hot water flowing inside the excel tube. Natural convection heat transfer was realized from the wall and floor surfaces of the container house, and the heat transfer area was increased by a factor of 3 with respect to heat transfer area limited to the floor by the existing hot water panel. As a result, the initial temperature increase rate was much higher because of the larger heat transfer area.

Results of environmental monitoring for 35 steel industry welders exposed to manganese and chromium fume were evaluated. Efficiency of respiratory protectors, welding face shields and local exhaust ventilation were also evaluated to establish more efficient preventive measures that can protect welders from occupational disease as related to welding fume. The results are as follows; 1. Total fume from $CO_2$ arc welding with mild steel occurred 1.5 to 2.2 times more than that from shielded metal arc welding. Chromium and nickel fume from welding with stainless steel occurred 27 to 59 times and 18 to 30 times, respectively, than those with mild steel. 2. Proportions of water-soluble chromium(VI) and insoluble chromium(VI) Compare to total chromium occurring from $CO_2$ arc welding with stainless steel were 10.5% and 8.7%, respectively, while those with mild steel were 57.1 to 63.2% and 31.6 to 38.1%, respectively. 3. The efficiencies of 4 types of respiratory protectors to reduce welding fume exposure were evaluated as 54.4 to 64.4%. 4. The reducing effect of head type welding face shield was 67.6%, and that of hand type welding face shield was 58.5%. The highest reducing effect was shown in air supply welding face shield as 99.2%, although it is not convenient to wear. 5. When welding face shield and respiratory protectors were worn together, the reducing efficiency increased to 79.0 to 87.5%. 6. When local exhaust ventilation was installed in workplace, the reducing efficiencies varied from 31.5 to 73.1% according to the types of welding.
Objective: This study investigated the effect of extraction solvents on antioxidant bio-active compounds as well as potential antioxidant and lipid peroxidation inhibition of Phyllanthus acidus (P. acidus) leaf extract in minced pork. Methods: The effect of various solvent systems of water, 25%, 50%, 75% (v/v) ethanol in water and absolute ethanol on the extraction crude yield, total phenolic content, total flavonoid content and in vitro antioxidant activities of P. acidus leaves was determined. In addition, antioxidant activities of the addition of crude extract from P. aciuds leaves at 2.5 and 5 g/kg in minced pork on 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging, 2,2′-Azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) radical cation decolorization, reducing power and inhibition of lipid peroxidation (thiobarbituric acid reactive substances; TBARS) were determined. Moreover, sensory evaluation of the samples was undertaken by using a 7-point hedonic scale. Results: The results showed that the highest crude yield (2.8 g/100 g dry weight) was obtained from water which also had the highest recovery yield for total phenolic content, total flavonoid content and the strongest antioxidant activity. The addition of crude water extract from P. acidus leaves was more effective in retarding lipid peroxidation and higher antioxidant activity than control and butylated hydroxytoluene in minced pork. In particular, the samples containing P. acidus extract had no significant effect on the sensory scores of overall appearance, color, odor, texture, flavor, and overall acceptability compared to the control. Conclusion: Water solvent was an optimally appropriate solvent for P. acidus leaf extraction because of its ability to yield the highest amount of bio-active compounds and in vitro antioxidant property. Particularly, P. acidus crude water extract also strongly expressed the capacity to retard lipid oxidation, radical scavenging, radical cation decolorization and reducing power in minced pork. The results of this study indicated that P. acidus leaf extract could be used as natural antioxidant in the pork industry.

Hot water extraction concentrate was prepared from Alliun hookeri root (AHR) to evaluate its applicability to yogurt. The highest antioxidant activity of hot water concentrates was obtained under extraction conditions of 4 hr at $95^{\circ}C$. Antioxidant activities measured by DPPH radical assay, ABTS radical cation assay, reducing power, and cheating activity were highly correlated with total phenolic (89.51 mg/g) and total flavonoid (52.71 mg/g) contents, with R values of 0.94 and 0.96, respectively. Yogurt was fermented with a commercial lactic acid bacteria mixed strain (Yo-mix$^{TM}$ 305) for 10 hr at $42^{\circ}C$ after addition of 0~10% (w/w) hot water concentrates from AHR to yogurt base. As fermentation proceeded, pH and $^{\circ}Brix$ of yogurt decreased from 6.57~6.60 to 4.34~4.51 and from 8.10~8.90% to 4.60~5.25%, respectively, whereas titrate acidity, viscosity, and viable cell numbers increased from 0.22~0.23% to 1.01~1.10%, from $0mPa{\cdot}s$ to $202.55{\sim}290.50mPa{\cdot}s$, and from 6.40~6.80 log CFU/mL to 8.60~9.20 log CFU/mL, respectively. There was no significant difference in any sensory attribute between the control and 2.5% addition group, suggesting that 2.5% hot water concentrate from AHR could be used to manufacture yogurt.

To enhance the yield and bioactivity of hot-water extract from herbal medicine, Astragalus membranaceus was hydrolyzed with carbohydrases, such as ClariSEB and Fungamyl. After hot-water extracts were prepared from each hydrolysate (HW-C/F), physicochemical property, antioxidant activity and sensory property were evaluated. The solid content ($^{\circ}Brix$) of HW-C/F was higher than hot-water extract from A. membranaceus no treated enzyme (control). Although pH of HW-C/F was lower than that of the control, the acidity was higher. Lightness of Hunter's color values was increased in HW-C/F whereas redness and yellowness were decreased. The contents of reducing sugar, flavonoid and polyphenol of HW-C/F were higher than the control but the content of ascorbic acid was not different from control. The inhibitory activity of HW-C/F against lipid peroxidation was slightly higher than control, but DPPH radical scavenging, ABTS reducing, metal chelating activities were significantly increased by HW-C/F. The sensory evaluation also revealed that the sensory panelists preferred HW-C/F to that of control. Therefore, hydrolysis by carbohydrases for preparation of hot-water extract from A. membranaceus is one of the good methods to improve antioxidative activity and sensory property of hot-water extract.
Response surface methodology was implemented to determine an optimal extraction condition in Phellinus linteus water extract. Extraction was performed on 10 experimental conditions including independent variables such as extraction time $(1{\sim}5\;hrs)$ and water volume over sample (sample : $H_2O$ = 1 : $40{\sim}200$, W/V), color browning, reducing and total sugar, that were based on the significant levels of 10% of central composition design. Color browning, reducing and total sugar contents were found to be more affected when the water volume was increased rather than extraction time. Maximum extraction condition was acquired at extraction time of $3.0{\sim}4.5\;hrs$ and water volume of $40{\sim}58.2\;ml$. Being extracted at the optimal extraction condition two of the free sugars, sucrose (0.126%) and glucose (0.012%), were detected. Total content of the free amino acids was found to be $503.26\;{\mu}g%$. Among them, essential amino acid contents were revealed as 5.4%. One major peak from gel permeation chromatography contained polysaccharide(s) with the molecular weights of 10 KDa.

When the Superabsorbent Polymer (SAP) is added into concrete, the slump decreases rapidly, deteriorating the workability, the internal curing effect can be obtained through the water absorption and discharge process, and the internal voids of the concrete are increased. In this study, the effects of internal curing and voids were evaluated by evaluating the compressive strength, freeze-thaw resistance, and chloride penetration resistance of SAP-adding concrete that secured workability using a water reducing agent. Also, the internal curing effect of SAP was evaluated by dividing the curing conditions of concrete into water curing and sealed curing. From the result, as the SAP adding ratio increased, the amount of water reducing agent increased, and as for the compressive strength, the SAP adding ratio of 1.5% showed the greatest compressive strength. In particular, in the case of sealed curing showed higher compressive strength than the water curing. It is considered that the compressive strength increased due to the reduction of the effective water-cement ratio and the internal curing effect. Adding 1.0~1.5% of SAP improved the freeze-thaw resistance similar to the case of adding the AE agent, and the addition of more than 1.0% of SAP improved the chloride penetration resistance. The optimal adding ratio of SAP is 1.5%, and the adding ratio of 2.0% or more adversely affects the compressive strength and freeze-thaw resistance.

As the severity of water-related disasters increases in urban watersheds due to climate change, reducing flood damage in urban watersheds is one of the important issues. This study focuses on prioritizing the optimal site for permeable pavement to maximize the efficiency of reducing flood damage in urban watersheds in the future climate environment using multi-criteria decision making techniques. The Mokgamcheon watershed which is considerably urbanized than in the past was selected for the study area and its 27 sub-watersheds were considered as candidate sites. Six General Circulation Model (GCM) of Coupled Model Intercomparison Project 6(CMIP6) according to two Shared Socioeconomic Pathway (SSP) scenarios were used to estimate future monthly precipitation for the study area. The Driving force-Pressure-State-Impact-Response (DPSIR) framework was used to select the water quantity evaluation criteria for prioritizing permeable pavement, and the study area was modeled using ArcGIS and Storm Water Management Model (SWMM). For the values corresponding to the evaluation criteria based on the DPSIR framework, data from national statistics and long-term runoff simulation value of SWMM according to future monthly precipitation were used. Finally, the priority for permeable pavement was determined using the Fuzzy TOPSIS and Minimax regret method. The high priorities were concentrated in the downstream sub-watersheds where urbanization was more progressed and densely populated than the upstream watersheds.
