Most of today's energy supply is obtained from fossil fuels. Despite of high energy density, higher store efficiency and long mileage, fossil fuels cause environmental pollution and their reserves are limited. In this study pure hydrogen gas and oxygen gas are burned without the emission of pollution. A gas turbine is used to obtain power. Water is injected into a combustor, which prevents overheating and recovers cooling heat. Excessively supplied water is recirculated. With variation of mass flow rate and equivalence ratio, the affection of water injection rate and the temperature of injected water on efficiency and power are experimented. Injected water gets cooling heat, is expanded from liquid to vapor and raises the thermal efficiency. It is enable to determine the rate of water injection, which makes the maximum power. The increase of temperature of water injection raises the efficiency of the system.
Inconel 690 for nuclear steam generator tube has more chromium than the conventionally used Inconel 600 in order to increase the corrosion resistance. TD evaluate the tribological characteristics under fretting condition the fretting tests as well as sliding tests were carried out in elevated temperature water environment. Fretting tests of the cross-cylinder type were done under various vibrating amplitudes and applied normal loads in order to measure the friction forces and wear volumes. Also, the conventional sliding tests of pin-en-disk type were carried out to compare the test results. In fretting, the friction was very sensitive to the load and the amplitude. The friction coefficient decreased with increasing load and decreasing amplitude. Also, the wear of Inconel 690 can be predictable using the work rate model. Depending on normal loads and vibrating amplitudes, distinctively different wear mechanisms and of ten drastically different wear rates can occur. It was fecund that the fretting wear coefficients in water were increased as increasing the temperature of water.

The characteristics of auto-ignition and combustion process of a single droplet of emulsified fuel suspended in a high-temperature air chamber have been investigated experimentally with various droplet sizes, surrounding temperatures, and water contents. The used fuels was n-Decane and it was emulsified with varied water contents whose maximum is 30%. The high-speed camera has been adopted to measure the ignition delay and flame life time. It was also applied to observe micro-explosion behaviors. The increase of droplet size and chamber temperature cause the decrease of the ignition delay time and flame life-time. As the water contents increases, the ignition delay time increases and the micro-explosion behaviors are strengthened. The starting timings of micro-explosion and fuel puffing are compared for different droplet sizes and the amount of water contents.

Flow induced vibration in steam generators has caused dynamic interactions between tubes and contacting materials resulting in fretting wear . Series of experiments have been performed to examine the wear properties of Inconel 690 steam generator tubes in various environmental conditions. For the present study, the test rig was designed to examine the fretting wear and rolling wear properties in high temperature(room temperature - 290。C) water. The test was performed at constant applied load and sliding distance to investigate the effect of test temperature on wear properties of the steam generator tube materials. To investigate the wear mechanism of material, the worn was observed using scanning electron microscopy. The weight loss increase at higher test temperature was caused by the decrease of water viscosity and the mechanical property change of tube material. The mechanical property changes of steam generator tube material, such as decrease of hardness or yield stress in the high temperature tests. From the SEM observation of worn surfaces, the severe wear scars were observed in specimens tested at the higher temperature.
A laboratory study was carried out to investigate the change of ultrasonic velocity as a function of temperature for fluid mud (i.e., suspension). Pulse transmission technique with ultrasonic wave was used for ultrasonic velocity measurement. The five samples for fluid mud were prepared for concentration range of $30.6{\%}\;(1.24\;g/cm^{3}\;in\;density),\;23.3{\%}\;(1.19\;g/cm^{3}),\;11.5{\%}(1.10\;g/cm^{3}),\;7.8{\%}\;(1.08\;g/cm^{3}),\;and\;3.8{\%}\;(1.05\;g/cm^{3})$ by weight. The ultrasonic velocity in fluid mud was investigated to increase $(approximately\;2.83\;to\;4.95\;m/s/^{\circ}C)$ with increasing temperature, due to the effect of viscosity and compressibility of water with changing temperature. But the increasing rate tends to decrease at temperature higher than $30^{\circ}C,$ caused by the effect of viscosity. The concentration of fluid mud more affect to the ultrasonic velocity at higher temperature range than that at lower temperature. Overall the temperature effect on the ultrasonic velocity in fluid mud was a similar rate as for distilled water and seawater, suggesting fluid mud significantly depends on the behavior of water.
Sodium pyrophosphate that melting point is $79-80^{\circ}C$ have been Studied on heat storage and heat discharge. In heat storage process, sodium pyrophosphate was kept up initial temperature $50^{\circ}C,\;60^{\circ}C,\;70^{\circ}C$ which melt by heated water at temperature $85^{\circ}C,\;90^{\circ}C,\;95^{\circ}C$. In heat discharge process, initial temperature of sodium pyrophosphate was maintained at temperature $85^{\circ}C,\;90^{\circ}C,\;95^{\circ}C$ which varied cooling temperature $50^{\circ}C,\;60^{\circ}C,\;70^{\circ}C$. The experiment has been reached conclusions as follows. 1) Heat transfer properties of phase change material is controlled by conduction during heating and cooling process. 2) The temperature increased rapidly at initial stage and transient region increase slowly because of characteristic of latent heat. 3) The lower cooling water temperature is the less the time that get to thermal equivalent state take during discharge process. 4) The higher cooling water temperature is the less temperature difference between top and bottom in P.C.M during discharge process.
The purpose of this work is to present the experiment results by a dynamic adsorption of water vapor on pelletized zeolites (ADZ300, ADZ400, and ADZ500) in fixed bed. The breakthrough curves of water vapor with several different concentrations and temperature in the range of 25~45 $^{\circ}C$ on zeolite bed were investigated. In the same conditions, the breakthrough time on ADZ400 and ADZ500 were little longer than ADZ300, and the equilibrium adsorption capacity on ADZ500 was highest. The higher the concentration of water vapor was, the faster the breakthrough time was, and the slope of breakthrough curves showed a tendency to increase. The faster the flow rate of water vapor was, the faster the breakthrough time was relatively, but variations between flow rate and breakthrough time did not have a proportional relationship. The breakthrough curve maintained constant gradient in spite of variation of flow rate in the same concentration. The temperature rise in zeolite bed by adsorption heat was occurred in the early stage of adsorption. After water molecule layers were formed on the surface of zeolite, the temperature was slowly cooled by water vapors continuously flowed in as constant temperature. The greater the concentration of water vapor and adsorption temperature were, the temperature difference in zeolite bed was increased.

Surface modification of vertically-aligned carbon nanotube (VACNT) is essential in order to meet specific demands for particular applications such as field emission displays, heat dissipation device and potential sun energy conversion due to their superior electrical and thermal conductivity and strong light absorption. In this study, we observe the effect of exposure to water vapor on a different lengths of the surfaces of VACNT. The study was conducted on three different lengths of the VACNT: short length around $200{\mu}m$, medium-length around $500{\mu}m$, and high length around 1 mm. Water exposure time ranges between 2-10 min and temperature of the water ranges from 60 to 120 oC. The result of water vapor exposure mainly show that increasing the exposure time and water temperature give rise to increase of the speed of change on the surface of the VACNT. Especially, the shorter VACNT change their surface morphology most rapidly.
The output of small hydro power plant was generated less than rated output under high temperature. We Installed the artificial ventilation that blow cold wind from water supply pipe tunnel to small hydro power plant. The temperature of small hydro power has been decreased. The output of small hydro power plant has been increased from 405kW to 445kW.

Numerical modeling of $CO_2$ water heater was conducted prior to optimal design of medium and large sized $CO_2$ water heater, and the experimental test with small sized $CO_2$ water heater having heat capacity of 4 kW was completed to verify the present numerical model. The present model estimated the experimental data of COP(coefficient of performance), heating capacity, and the hot water outlet temperature within the range of 3% to 8% of mean deviation. As increase of EEV(electric expansion valve) opening area, decreasing of heating capacity and the hot water outlet temperature, and increasing of COP were found in both experimental and numerical investigation.
