Purpose: There are so many different methods with the their own advantages and disadvantages for acute AC dislocation and distal unstable clavicle fracture. We evaluated the usefulness of temporary Bosworth's coracoclavicular fixations using the cannulated screw and reviewed our clinical results. Materials and Methods: We evaluated 34 cases of temporary coracoclavicular fixations with cannulated screw and washer for acute AC dislocation(25cases in the Type V, Ⅲ) and distal unstable clavicle fracture(9cases in the Type ⅡB, Ⅱ+Ⅲ). All cases were fixed by the same techniques, guided cannulated screw under C-arm after the repair of the CC ligament within 1 week. Bases on the regular check, screws were removed at the 6-12 weeks under local anesthesia. The final clinical and radiological results(average 14 months follow-up) were rated with the UCLA scale. Results : All shoulders were gained nearly full ROM passively at the 3-4 weeks. The overall satisfactory resuIts(excellent or good) were achieved 88%(22/25) in the acute AC dislocation and all in the distal unstable clavicle fracture. There were no definite complications except three initial fixations loosening. Conclusion: Temporary Bosworth's coracoclavicular fixation using the cannulated screw with guided pin was simple precedure and provided enough initial stability for acute AC dislocation and distal unstable clavicle fracture.

The welded metal bellows is commonly manufactured by welding pairs of washer-shaped discs of thin sheet metal stamped from strip stock in thickness from 0.025 to 0.254 mm. The discs, or diaphragms, are formed with mating circumferential corrugations. In this study, the diaphragms were welded by using a CW Nd: YAG laser to form metal bellows. The bellows was fixed on a jig and compressed axially, while Cu-rings were installed between belows edges for intimate contact of edges. The difference between the inner diameter of bellows and jig shaft causes an eccentricity, while the tolerance between motor shaft and jig shaft causes a wobble type motion. A vision sensor which is based on the optical triangulation was used for seam tracking. An image processing algorithm which can distinguish the image by bellows edge from that by Cu-ring was developed. The geometric relationship which describes the eccentricity and wobble type motion was modeled. The seam tracking using the image processing algorithm and the geometric modeling was performed successfully.
The purpose of this study was to survey the clothing behavior, care and the fiber preferences of multi-cultural families living in Korea. The data was collected using questionnaire surveys based on pre-tests, and a main survey conducted in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and Chungcheong Province. The 258 participants came from 151 multi-cultural families and 107 Korean families. The results of this study were as follows: First, Filipinos owned more clothes than the Chinese and bought clothes more frequently. The Filipinos spent 10,000~30,000 Korean won on all types of clothing. Each time, the Chinese spent more money when purchasing jackets. Second, when health was the greatest concern for underclothes, they chose cotton fiber as their preferred fiber. When beauty was of greatest concern for blouses they chose cotton. When beauty was of greatest concern for skirts and jackets they chose natural fibers such as silk, wool or linen. Filipinos preferred synthetic fibers because they are easy to care for, and the Chinese preferred natural fibers due to their beauty, especially for pants. Third, multi-cultural families laundered at home using only a washing machine. All fibers were laundered together into the washer without any sorting. This study can contribute to providing basic data for an understanding of the clothing behavior and laundry styles of multi-cultural families which may be useful data in the apparel market in Korea given the relative and direct changes relevant to various clothing cultures.

Thin film technologies for fabricating SQUIDs involve etching and deposition procedures with the proper substrate materials and $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-d}$ (YBCO) as the high $T_c$ superconductor. YBCO were prepared on various substrates of MgO, $SrTiO_3$, and $LaAlO_3$ by using off-axis magnetron sputtering methods and annealing in-situ. The parameters of film fabrication processes had been optimized to yield good quality films in terms of the critical temperature $T_c$ and the critical current density $J_c$. The optimized processes yielded $T_C$>90K along with $J_c$>$10_6A$$extrm{cm}^2$ at 77K and>$2\times10_7A/Cm^2$ at 5K. We fabricated step-edge type dc-SQUIDs and directly coupled magnetometers, producing step edges on MgO(100) substrates by etching with Ar-ion beam, depositing YBCO material on them, then patterning them by using ion-milling technique. Circuitizing washer-shape SQUIDs to possess a pair of step-edge junctions of 2-5$\mu$ line width with a high angle>$50^{\circ}C$ , we examined their I-V characteristics thoroughly and Shapiro steps clearly as we irradiate microwaves of 8-20 GHz frequency.

This test focuses on the correlations between joining axial force at non-room temperature and at room temperature according to the surface treatment (Geomet, Dacro, Green Kote, Armore Galv.). The quality characteristics of the fastening axial force required by the KSB 2819 and EN14399-10 standards were discussed. Surface treatment was implemented to S10T and 10.9HRC sets of bolts under the same environmental factors. Development for the stabilization of the fastening axial force required by each standard should continually be enforced, and the fastening and storage in the field should be maintained at room temperature. Managing stabilization of torque enumerated data is required after application of surface treatment. It is concluded that, by conducting the test of applying surface treatment to effectively manage, each lot-specific rate of axial force at room temperature conditions should be maintained below the maximum 4.47%. The decline rate of axial force should be maintained under 2.15% maximum, and the standard deviation of the room temperature condition should be maintained below 0.5.

Titania is usually used in sun-screens, tooth paste, and other daily used objects as a pigment. However, scientists have focused on titania as photocatalyst due to its excellent activities. By fabricating vanadium doped TiO2 and CuOx co-catalyzed TiO2 nano-size filter, the degradation level of the volatile organic compound (VOC) concentration was tested using 365nm UV LED as light source in a closed chamber. Main purpose for this test is to evaluate the activities of various catalysts for degrading the VOCs which are detrimental to human body and toluene and p-xylene were chosen in the VOC removal test. Target gas materials were injected into the test chamber with dry air as carrier gas which was flowed into the gas washer bottle filled with liquid form of VOC substance. When the VOC gas flows into the chamber, it is circulated by 200 mm fan in order to contact with the set-up filter on the aluminum holder. Target gas concentration in the chamber was monitored using VOC detector (miniRae3000, Raesystems) which was also placed inside the chamber. With the measured concentration, the VOC degradation efficiency and the degradation rate were evaluated and used to compare the catalytic activities.

The mechanical and electrical characteristics can be improved in 3D stacked IC technology which can accomplish the ultra-high integration by stacking more semiconductor chips within the limited package area through the Cu direct bonding method minimizing the performance degradation to the bonding surface to the inorganic compound or the oxide film etc. The surface was treated in a ultrasonic washer using a diamond abrasive to remove other component substances from the prepared cast plate substrate surface. FE-SEM was used to analyze the bonding characteristics of the bonded copper substrates, and the cross section of the bonded Cu conjugates at the sintering junction temperature of 100 ℃, 150 ℃, 200 ℃, 350 ℃ and the pressure of 2303 N/cm2 and 3087 N/cm2. At 2303 N/cm2, the good bonding of copper substrate was confirmed at 350 ℃, and at the increased pressure of 3087 N/cm2, the bonding condition of Cu was confirmed at low temperature junction temperature of 200 ℃. However, the recrystallization of Cu particles was observed due to increased pressure of 3087 N/cm2 and diffusion of Cu atoms at high temperature of 350 ℃, which can lead to degradation in semiconductor manufacturing.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify and resolve the causes of defects in the unmanned aerial vehicle launch system(propulsion wire fracture, rear rail deformation) and to prevent recurrence. Methods: The causes of the two defects were derived through fault tree analysis for each of the two defects and fault reproduction tests. In the case of propulsion wire, the installation of a high speed camera to check the behavior of wire was the driving force behind the defect resolution. Results: The results of this study are as follows; It was determined that the thickness of the washer was less than the maximum tolerance of the pulley was the cause of the propulsion wire fracture defect. Failure to comply with the launch procedure and insufficient safety margin were judged as the cause of the rear rail deformation defect. Accordingly, the configuration was changed to remove each defect. Conclusion: The case of this study was conducted to eliminate defects in the launch system for UAV. The causes of defects were estimated through fault tree analysis. After the configuration change, Structural analysis and launch tests were performed to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the modified configuration. As a result, the effect of the modified configuration was verified.

We have constructed a multi-channel SQUID magnetometer system for localization and classification of magnetic targets. Ten SQUID magnetometers were arranged to measure 5 independent components of 3 $\times$ 3 magnetic field gradient tensor. To get gradient from the difference of magnetic field measurements, we carefully balanced magnetometers. SQUIDs with slotted washer were used for operation in an unshielded laboratory environment, and noise characteristic in the laboratory was measured. With the multi-channel SQUID magnetometer system, we have successfully traced the motion of a bar magnet moving around it at a distance of about 1 m. In the urban environment, the drift of uniform magnetic field due to the irregular motion of a large magnetic body at distance and earth field causes an error in the position calculation, and this results in the distortion of the calculated trajectory. In this paper, we present the architecture and the performance of the system.
