  • The modern warfare needs sharing tactical situation and Command and Control(C2) capacity. Lately, developing of C2 System for Soldiers has dramatically increased according to increase of asymmetric state of hostilities like a guerilla war or a street-to-street fighting. In this paper, we explain the concepts of C2 System for Soldiers and Smart Phone. We describe the proposed system composed of HMD equipment, Smart Phone, and exclusive software. This system provides that Soldiers have C2 capacity and share the image of a visual field. It also offers efficient military power disposition and understanding tactical situation in operations.

  • 고속집적회로와 광 전송 기술에 기초한 비동기식 전송 및 교환(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) 방법은 곧 다가올 광대역 종합정보 통신망(Broadband ISDN)의 중심 기술이 될것으로 보여진다. 광대역 패킷(ATM) 망이 수용하여야 할 여러가지 기능 중 영상 정보의 처리 능력은 아직 많은 연구를 요구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 광대역 패킷망에서의 영상 통신에 제기되는 문제점들을 파악하고 이에 관한 가능한 해결방법을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 효율적인 대역폭의 사용과, 최소의 화질 손상을 가능케 하는 계층적 비디오 코딩을 이용한 클럭 동기, 패킷 유실의 보상 및 전송 방법 등을 중점적으로 제시하였다.

  • 다양한 전달 매체로 전송되는 방송 콘텐츠를 기존의 TV로 수신하는 도중에 특정 시간 동안 특정 정보를 수신하여 TV에 보여줌으로써 한정된 지역 내에서 자체 정보를 공유할 수 있는 방송 콘텐츠 관리 시스템을 본 논문에서 제안한다.

  • In this paper, an attempt has been made to build and test self-configuring weather sensor networks and internet based observation system to gather atmospheric data. The aim is to provide integrated or real-time weather information in standard form using network data access protocol. This system was successfully developed to record weather information both digital as well as visual using sensor network and web-enabled surveillance cameras. These data were transformed by network based data access protocol to access and utilize for public domain. The competed system has been successfully utilized to monitor different types of weather. The results show that this is one of the most useful weather monitoring system.

  • ATM 환경의 다양한 QOS를 갖는 트래픽의 우선순위제어를 위해, ATM 스위치의 출력 버퍼에 저장되는 셀의 큐메카니즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 큐 방식은 가변큐공유(VQS4 : Variable Queue Sharing with 4 queue)방식으로서 기존의 고정 큐 방식의 문제점인 버스트 트래픽으로 인한 큐 오버플로우의 문제점을 개선하기 위해 CBR 큐, VBR-rt큐, VBR_nrt 큐, ABR 큐의 영역을 가변적으로 공유하여 큐 자원의 이용율을 최대화시킴으로써 순간 버스트 트래픽 유입으로 인한 셀손실율을 최소화시킬 수 있는 특성을 제공한다. VQS4 방식의 성능을 평가하기 위해 버스트 특성이 강한 트래픽 패턴을 이용하여 고정 큐를 이용한 HOL과 제안 방식인 VQS4의 셀손실률 및 평균 지연률을 비교하였으며 시뮬레이터는 Visual Slam 2.0(AweSim)을 이용하여 작성했다.

  • In a field of oriental medicine, it is necessary to collect systemically clinical data and integrate. Input data items was decided, then categorized by the modules through discussion of the institute and hospitals. Items are information of patient, history, aspects of occurrence, pattern identification, prescriptions of herbal medicine, the results of biochemical serum examination, blood cell count, urine analysis, CT, MRI, Chest PA, EKG etc. Factors in oriental medicine are Sasang constitution, Stroke-Pattern-Identification(china), differentiation of cold and heat syndrome. This tool was constructed by using Microsoft-Access 2000 and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Furthermore this web-based system could be applied to multi-center clinical investigation.

  • We are now using separate ID Database, Permission System, OS and Standard Data Format in PC, Cell phone, IPTV service and these are not good in many kind of usage, data sharing, contents servicing and supervising efficiency To merge these multiple services into one system we need to make a single ID systems for all and this paper will gide you to the new ID system that was much better than the old one. This new type of ID system is made with 3D Data and this will give fantastic visual effect & rich information data to the ID users in 3D way which is much better than 2D image & Text information technology.

  • VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is an Web-based standard for modeling 3D spaces and provides applications with 3D interactive interfaces. With its recent upgrade, it supports events, routes, scripts, and other behavior modeling constructs. This paper approaches VRML as a simulation modeling language. This approach promotes the sharing and distribution of simulation results and demonstration among distributed users as well as efficient modeling of systems through the direct mapping of 3D objects and behaviors. This paper analyzes the behavior modeling constructs of VRML, presents effective modeling alternatives through the modeling of a simple material processing system, and discusses the upgrade direction of VRML as a foundation for distributed interactive simulation system.

Proposal for a virtual museum with vertical aspect ratio for the convergence of metaverse and short-form content

  • This study explores the convergence of metaverse and short-form content, proposing a new approach for viewing short-form content with a vertical aspect ratio on a metaverse platform and within a virtual museum. Short-form content has gained popularity due to the snack culture and is proving to be advantageous in e-commerce. By studying the relationship between vertical ratio screens and gaze, we confirm the effectiveness of vertical ratio short-form content in providing immersive experiences and fostering sharing and communication. The proposed virtual museum offers opportunities for innovative businesses to market through fandom. This research highlights the value of vertical proportion short-form content and its significance in the convergence of metaverse and short-form content. It aims to contribute to industry development, provide new creative directions, enhance personal visual experiences, and expand applicability in related fields.

패션산업을 중심으로 한 디자인 영역간의 콜레보레이션 (Collaboration Among Design Fields With a Focus on the Fashion Industry)

  • The objectives of this study are to define the fundamental notions of collaboration in design field. The results of this study are summarized as follows: Firstly, collaboration means a cooperative work which are cooperatively done by collabarator and collaboratee on the equal status within a certain period of time, based on core ability of each of them. This cooperative work is presented with a visual image based on the identity of participants, and it creates an added value. Collaboration is different from convergence and hybrid in the methodological aspects and from brand alliance and strategic alliance in the aspects of the subject of project. Secondly, collaboration has been developing through step of using the specific ability, step of sharing each core abilities, and step of fusing their identities, in a view of the sphere of cooperative work and the intimate relations in reciprocity. Thirdly, according to strategic purpose, collaboration can be classified into value ascending collaboration, image changing collaboration, business-field extension collaboration, and event collaboration. Fourthly, production methods of collaboration consist of limited edition method, premium line method, common line method, producing a collaborative product, and so on. Fifthly, differentiation effect, image upgrade effect, production of higher value-added products, sale increase, diversification of business, sharing the targets, and promotion effect are achievable through collaboration. Sixthly, to make progress in collaboration successfully, the compatibility of combination between collaborator and collaboratee, the superiority of collaboratee, definitude of collaboration, the fit method of collaboration, the novelty of collatoration, possibility of issuing of collaboration, and perfection of collabo-product must be the points which deserve our attention.
