실내디자인의 기호분석 프로그램 모듈에 관한 연구 - 아파트 주거공간을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Trends Analysis Program Module of Interior Design Based on Apartment)

  • Online business these days prone to approach their costumers with improved module and various interface via Internet. This is more than just an act of providing enhancement, but a mean of finding out the customer's demand by enlarging their selection. This, however, is related to the bits per second of supplemental service network.For example, supplemental services that were not possible in the 56K modem era are now possible due to the information super highway network. To grope for new means of approaching, the best way will be by developing media that will collect customer's demands. Until now, customer's demands were evaluated by miniatures of apartment building, model houses or rendered images produced by 3D graphic softwares and pictures. Analyses were not available until evaluation were produced.Nowadays, utilizing the advanced Internet interface tools and various new media, customers are sought before the construction thus various studies to full fill the customer's demands are in process. This study is on development of a virtual module utilizing activated web environment. Analysis modules repeating the changes in customers are expected to deliver us a new trend.

  • 일반인이 리모델링 및 인테리어 공사를 하고자 할 때, 건축 재료 및 설계에 대한 지식부족으로 원하는 디자인의 방향을 잘 표현하지 못하거나, 디자인의 결과를 미리 예측하지 못하여 본인의 의도와 다르게 시공되는 등 여러 가지 문제가 발생하게 된다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 인터넷 상에서 건축설계 및 재료에 대한 지식을 공유하고, 자신이 원하는 디자인을 가상의 공간안에 미리 설계해 봄으로써, 실제 시공 시 결과를 예측할 수 있도록 도와주는 일반인들을 위한 건축설계 가상체험 사이트를 개발하고자 하는 목적을 가지고 연구되었다. 연구방법으로는 현재 건축분야에서 활용하고 있는 가상현실 기술의 사례조사를 통하여 건축설계에 있어서 구현가능한 가상현실 기술의 한계 및 그 방향을 도출하고, 실제 전문가들이 사용하고 있는 건축 설계 프로그램의 사례분석을 바탕으로 건축설계 시 요구되는 필수기능을 UI로 구성하고자 하였다. 그 결과 웹기반의 건축설계 가상체험 사이트의 설계 방향을 서비스적인 측면과 기술적인 측면, UI적인 측면으로 나누어 제안하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to show the implications of the term "digital architecture," which are realized in the current architecture. To do this, I first observe its theoretical background and then analyze the works of Marcos Novak, Kas Oosterhuis, and Lars Spuybroek, all of whom are called the typical digital architects. In particular, this study tries to show that the digital architects are introducing the non-Euclidean multi-dimensions and the cyberspace and applying the notions of liquid architecture, transarchitecture, body-building, and body-building, and body-motorized system into their works. Finally, I conclude that the digital architecture anticipates the direction of the future architecture, in which the virtual world is merged with the real world, the digital space is realized in the real space, and the human is completely harmonized with nature.th nature.

색의 공간 구성적 차원에 관한 색채해석학적 연구 (A chroma-hermeneutical Study on the Space-constituitive Dimension of Color)

  • This study consists of two parts, in which the traditional discourses about light and color are analysed hermeneutically, The first part deals with the optical and chromatic discourse that stands in the same context with the aesthetic, and the second with the analysis of color phenomenon that is constituitive of space. From the ancient time the basic parameters of the conceptual thinking such as the virtual, simulacrum, have sticked to the inevitable status, which mediates to represent the original that can never present by oneself. In modern times this specificity of the virtual could have been connected with the problem, how and by which means objects can be perceived and grasped in itself. Among the barometers to the problem ‘color’ or ‘color perception’ has been regarded as the distinct one, in which the relationship between the image and the identifying of this one, the relationship between the perceived image and the perceiving subject and the problem of the spatiality of color and surface can be dwelled on. Through the explication of the chromatic and aesthetic discourse it can be recognized that color, surface and space are interacted with one another. Colors on the surface are not only the dynamic interpoints between the memory and the forgetfulness, but also the virtual interfaces, in which the spatialising actions happen incessantly. At this point it can be illuminated that the space-constituitive dimension of color is correlative with the dimension of chromatic effects of spatialising. Therefore color as well as surface as the spatial happening must be apprehended as the one, which constitutes the spatialising and at the same time varies and shifts itself into another on the purpose of the other spatialising.

Development of an Immersive Virtual Reality-Based Bathroom Self-Remodeling System

  • 최근 1인 가구의 급격한 증가로 인테리어 및 셀프 인테리어에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 홈 인테리어 시장 규모가 급성장하고 있다. 베스룸 리모델링은 대부분 오프라인 인테리어 업체에 의뢰한 후 최종 완성 단계에서 육안으로 확인하는 방식으로 진행되기 때문에 고객이 불만족하더라도 재시공이 쉽지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 가상현실에서 현실감을 느낄 수 있는 VR 기술을 접목하여 설계 단계부터 최종 단계까지 공간과 디자인을 시각적으로 확인할 수 있는 몰입형 가상현실 기반 베스룸 셀프 리모델링 시스템을 개발하였다. 베스룸 구조는 미리 정의된 베스룸 공간의 기본 구조를 선택할 수도 있고, 베스룸 공간의 크기를 자유롭게 설정할 수도 있다. 가구 용품은 베스룸의 필수 요소인 세면대, 변기, 욕조, 샤워부스와 기타(장착대, 쓰레기통, 손잡이)를 선택할 수 있다. 타일 텍스쳐는 다양한 텍스처를 선택하여 원하는 벽의 위치에서 선택된 타일의 텍스처를 변경할 수 있다. 특히 사용자와 시공자의 니즈에 따라 원하는 각도로 수평, 수직, 경사 방향을 선택하여 벽 타일의 질감을 다양하게 설정할 수 있다. 향후 연구과제로 이 시스템을 통해 물리적으로 멀리 떨어져 있는 사용자 간의 실내 공유를 실시간으로 가능하게 하여 가상 공간에서의 직접 체험, 구매 연결, 견적 요청 등이 가능하게 될 것이다.

진화론적 공간디자인에서의 혼성적 변이공간에 관한 연구 - 생물학적 진화론을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Hybrid Mutant Space of Evolutionary Space Design - Focus on the Biological Evolutionism -)

  • The relevance between organisms and their external environment covers everything including humans, natural and artificial surroundings, regarding which academic and scientific understanding has continued. Relevant elements established by inter-dependence between humans and environment and the unity of life should be translated from the perspective of a whole, not of unit elements or reduction. That is, a space is formed by its own program and assumes sustainable relevance based on interactions between internal and external spaces, not building an independent system. The present study aims to present the feasibility of a potential mutant space formed by invisible arenas between individuals and evolutionary space formation based on an ecological paradigm Accordingly, this study suggested that evolutionary attributes as the major power source of biological changes could verify the virtual multiplicity of a new space formation, and that the potential form generation of hybrid mutant space of emergence and infinite formative capability could be supported. The suggestions made here will hopefully contribute to extending applicability of evolutionary space generation in the field of space design. To derive the potential mutant forms from biological space, a preliminary study was conducted regarding the characteristics of evolutionary form generation. For the purpose of this study, three evolutionary perspectives of reproduction, mutation (variation) and selection were taken. First, the theory of evolution was defined and characterized. Also, the relevance between the characteristics generated and hybrid mutant space was analyzed to consider relevant characteristics. The present study helped to understand that the hybrid mutant space had an evolutionary space structure based on a biological paradigm. It was also found that the mutant space structure built by mutant polymorphism assumed a systematic correlation between space and environment.

노마드적 공간에서 나타나는 유연성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Expression Characteristics of Flexibility in Nomadic Space)

  • Recently, in the fields of fashion, advertisement, film, literature, philosophy, etc., the word, 'Nomad', is being used frequently across the overall society. The contemporary society is actively incorporating "nomadic thinking" as a new social phenomenon across the boundaries of conventional fields. This is not an exception in the field of space design. This study, via the contemporary nomadic thinking, examined the relationship between space design's application possibility as a new trend and flexible space; then categorized the characteristics of flexible space into flexibility, temporariness, changeability, and correlation; and then analyzed expression characteristics of flexible space. As for unrestricted expression of scene, it was recognized that separation of scene and space leads space to meet the needs of surrounding environment and users; formation of changeable space enables uses of space from various perspectives; and combining external factors (energy, media technologies) with space leads space to self-evolution. Space is perceived as an living organism that is flexibly corresponding, via realistic movement and virtual movement, to the indefinite, diversified thinking of the contemporary society. Therefore, this study illuminates that nomadic thinking has significance as basic thinking to predict development and characteristics of design thinking through understanding the contemporary society with the basic thinking system that has been inherent without restrictions of being fixed to the present, past, and future.

화장품 판매공간 디자인의 브랜드 인지도와 이미지의 관계성에 관한 연구 - 명동 지역 화장품 로드 숍을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Relationship between Brand Awareness and Image in Cosmetic Sales Space Design - Focusing on the Cosmetic Road Shop in Myeongdong -)

  • Recently, cosmetic shops are facing a complicate economy situation and a great number of brands are attempting two-way communication with customers, not one-way communication. 'Brand' equity is important to deliver virtual brand mark as visual image. We have 4 steps for brand identity structure, and this study is about the first 'brand-awareness' and the second step 'brand-image'. We investigated the correlation between brand-awareness and brand-image after searching which spatial elements are highly effective to both steps as we designated 5 cosmetic shops. We already organized the means of spatial analysis and we separated into two elements, constructive and decorative. For constructive element, a shop needs a distinct ceiling and wall design, and for decorative element, strong brand image communication is required through showcase design. We proved that brand awareness and brand image have the correlation, which also can be in direct proportion, by regression analysis. The result of this study shows that improving brand awareness as the primary element for cosmetic road shop can be an effective way to enhance brand image.

디지털 디자인 프로세스로 본 다이어그램(Diagram)에 관한 연구 - 질 들뢰즈의 '추상기계'와 피터 아이젠만, 벤 반 버클의 '다이어그램'을 중심으로 - (A Study on 'Diagram' as a Digital Design process - Through G. Deleuze's 'machine abstraite' and Peter Eisenman, Ben Van Berkel's 'Diagram'-)

  • Among the architects who use diagrams as a digital design process, especially through Peter Eisenman and Ben van Berkel's works, we have specifically got the meaning of their diagrams. Their diagrams act as 'the block of becoming' and we can regard the diagrams not only as a tool of devenir including architect's root thoughts beyond a tool of schematic presentation, but also as architect's intention including devenir thought. And in the case of diagrams which the architects use, we can recognize that architects' intentions are to think that Deleuze's 'machine abstraite' evolve the diagram into various and transformed form. That is to say, Peter Eisenman interprets the machine abstraite as a root thought of devenir by using diagram as medium to reveal the virtual. And Ben van Berkel transforms the diagram by including all external conditions into selected diagram which shows the abstract relations to the elements. We can get the meaning of the machine abstraite from these cases well. This study will play an important role in giving good usage of the diagram in making a form of contemporary digital architecture and showing the direction of form creation field.

웹사이트에 나타난 디지털 라이프의 특성 분석 (An analysis on the characteristics of digital life reflected in web sites)

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis web sites which relate to housing environment on Internet and to suggest guidelines which are needed in digital life. Data are in 53 web sites searched by housing environmental word such as people, living, town and so on. The web sites are analyzed by key words. The results of this study were as follow: The web sites are divided into e-housing community, e-housing management, e-housing workplace and e-housing design. These are the digital life of new type. E-housing community sitess key words are 3D virtual world, chatting, information, service, community etc. E-housing community is related to making new wired community cross time and space. E-housing management sitess key words are guard management, apartment management, building management etc. E-housing management sites provide the useful information of housing management. E-housing workplace sitess key words are virtual office. conference etc. E-housing workplace sites enable us to work in cyberspace. E-housing design sitess key words are design, interior, furniture etc. E-housing design sites provide marketing, consulting and designing in relation to the house. The web life style on cyberspace is common and makes many changes happen in house life and environment.
