Outdoor space used for leisure life as inhabitantses' recreation and rest area, and night activity is very important space to many apartment complex. Lately, outdoor space is recognized as a very important space in apartment complex. Especially, that outdoor space is frequently used at night despite planning of lighting of current outdoor space is unprepared for the selection of suitable luminaires, arrangement of luminaire and lighting plan. From this point of view, this paper investigated the essence of light in outdoor space and analyzed different outdoor luminous environment. This paper finally suggested recommended level of illuminance and planning of lighting.

Multiple Antenna Technologies such as Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) and Beamforming provide the increase of channel capacity and the reliability of wireless link. To obtain these advantages, WiBro, Mobile WiMAX and $4^{th}$ Generation System are employing multiple antenna technologies. There exist, however, many technical issues in considering the application of the technologies or the providing of services using them. In this paper, various technical topics are discussed and simple solutions are proposed. Beamforming has several technical issues which include coverage imbalance, difficulties in providing Multicast-Broadcast Service (MBS). In Addition, network planning is a critical point from a cell extension and initial network entry point of view. In case of MIMO, network deployment is discussed in that cellular data network such as WiBro has many repeaters. MIMO mode selection for maximizing the cell capacity is also covered.

When some kinds of inhibitors, i.e. $1{\times}10{-3}mol/l$ arsenic trioxide, 0.2 mol/l 2-mercaptoethanol, 0.2mol/l thiourea were added to 3% NaCl solution, there were some considererable effects to decrease corrosion current density in natural potential condition and the effect fo solution temperature increasing corrosion rate was smaller than that of no addition to 3% NaCl solution. However the susceptibility of hydrogen embrittlement due to over-protection in case of cathodic protection was much greater than that of no addition, especially was the greatest in case of addition of 2-mercaptoethanol. Therefore adding inhibitors for anti-corrosion effect, it is suggested that selection of the optimum protection potential is important from the view point of prevention against hydrogen embrittlement due to over-protection in case of cathodic protection.

Analytical study on the thermodynamical cyclic behabiour and characteristics of HFC-l34a refrigerant for automotive air conditionser system for the replacement of existing CFC-12 has been carried out in this paper through development of system performance simulation program, expecially in the view point of system design considerations. The results indicate that HFC-l34a system will give a greater refrigerating capacity than CFC-12 if appropriate engineering measures such as proper codensers, flow controllers, etc., taken for certain operating conditions. The results, however, also show that the operating power for compression process increases over entire temperature range as a result of decreasing volumetric efficiency due to larger specific volume and increased discharging pressure. The present study results indicate that proper selection of condensing and evaporating temperature plus refrigerant control is very important performance factor to have better COP in the HFC-134a system design.

As information technology has been evolving, digital library emerges as a vision of future library. Many authors on digital library describe that the problems that today's libraries face would be completely solved by using digital technology. But it is su n.0, pposed that such technology oriented papers do not take care of what the library has been and should remain. This paper is prepared to identify what core elements of library services being provided in traditional environment must be transferred to the digital library. For this purpose, firstly historical transition from traditional library to digital discussed. Secondly, library's fundamental service functions are analysed from three points of view-library as cultural and social institution, library as intellectual reality, library as a collection. And 'control zone' concept is also investigated as a new possibility of academic digital libraries. In contrast to open zone in which information is not controled at all as in internet, in control zone, information is selected and maintained by academic library community, retaining such essential library functions as selection.

실감형 디스플레이 장치들을 지원하기 위해 다시점 영상을 효율적으로 코딩하는 방법은 다시점 비디오 코딩 방법과 다양한 전송 환경과 다양한 종류의 단말들을 통합적으로 지원할 수 있는 스케일러블 비디오 코딩 방법은 존재하지만, 현재 유비쿼터스 환경에서 실감형 서비스를 지원하면서 동시에 다양한 환경을 지원할 수 있는 통합된 동영상 정보를 생성하는 방법은 존재하지 않는다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 통합된 동영상 정보를 생성하는 다중 확장 비디오 코딩의 개념과 동작에 대해 설명하고 최적의 inter layer 참조 영상 선택 방법에 대해 분석한다.

Objectives : The purpose of this paper is to investigate the educational meaning of Shanghanjiushilun in Shanghanlun education. Methods : The formal characteristics in medical records were compared between Shanghanjiushilun and the other 5 kinds of medical record books and the educational meaning was drawn by analysing medical records of Shanghanjiushilun a little more deeply. Resultss & Conclusions : 1. In a formal aspect, although Shanghanjiushilun is inferior to Liuduzhou's Clinical Medical Records Selection, it has merits in that it explains through quoting medical literature. 2. Xushuwei explained treatment based on syndrome differentiation in the new point of view in Shanghanjiushilun. 3. Through Shanghanjiushilun medical records Xushuwei's work to explain treatment based on syndrome differentiation in Shanghanlun in the new perspective is an effort to read medical classics to keep up with the times and has sufficient educational significance.

In the two-tier CDMA cellular system with microcells and overlaying macrocells, slow-moving mobile user are assigned to microcells and those who move fast are assigned to overlaying macrocells in order to minimize the total number of handoffs. With this consideration the problem is how to find the thresholds by which the system distinguishes fast-moving user from those who move slowly based on the estimated speed of users. In this paper, two methods for the mobile speed estimation are proposed and two operations schemes for micro-macro cellular CDMA system are suggested. Based on these, Optimization models to find the optimal thresholds for micro-macrocell selection, which are subject to the constrains of QoS, are developed in view of minimizing the weighted total number of handoffs. And then algorithms to find optimal solutions of the models are devised.

Here a fuzzy precompensator is designed as a fuzzy logic-based precompensation approach for TCSC-PSS. This scheme is easily implemented by adding a fuzzy precompensator to an existing TCSC-PSS. And we optimize the fuzzy precompensator with a genetic algorithm for complements the demerit such as the difficulty of the component selection of fuzzy controller, namely, scaling factor, membership function and control rules. Nonlinear simulation results show that the proposed control technique is superior to conventional TCSC-PSS in dynamic responses over the wide range of operating conditions and in convinced robust and reliable in view of structure.
