상시진동실험을 이용한 남해대교의 동특성 평가 (Estimation of Dynamic Characteristics of Namhae Suspension Bridge Using Ambient Vibration Test)

  • The AVT under traffic-induced vibrations was carried out on Namhae Suspension bridge in Korea. Mode shapes as well as natural frequencies up to the 15th mode were acquired exactly, and the effect of traffic mass and temperature on measured natural frequencies was investigated. The results from the AVT are compared with those from forced vibration test(FVT) and FE analysis. (omitted)

수중 원통형 구조물의 총 음향방사파워 예측 (Prediction of Total Acoustic Radiation Power of the Submerged Circular Cylindrical Structures)

  • This study investigates an efficient method to estimate the total acoustic radiation power of submerged circular cylindrical structures. Since the acoustic radiation power of submerged vehicles can be changed during the operation, the estimation for its monitoring onboard is required to accomplish the missions. The total acoustic radiation power is estimated using the measured velocity and the calculated radiation efficiency of the surface which consists of submerged rectangular plate elements. Experiments are carried out to validate the estimation approach. Comparisons of the estimation results with the measurements show that they are in a good agreement for the mid-high frequency range and match well for the cases of different excitation locations which correspond to the different operation modes of underwater vehicles as well. Therefore, this estimation method can be applied effectively to the development of the radiated noise monitoring-system.

  • The method for output disturbance estimation is proposed. In this method, output disturbance is estimated from the closed loop system dynamics using the output and control input signals. In the closed-loop output-disturbance estimator, precise system identification is required to reduce estimation error. The realization of estimator was done by the DSP board (DSPl103), and disturbance estimation in various environments was performed: change of rotation speed, media feature and spindle motor with (or without) auto-ball balancing system (ABS). From these experiments, the disturbance characteristics of ODD under various conditions are analyzed, and the desirable servo loop configuration based these results is proposed.

시험장비의 특성을 고려한 진동시험결과에 대한 측정불확도 추정 (Measurement Uncertainty of Vibration Testing Result with Including Uncertainty of Testing Facilities)

  • All measurements are subject to uncertainty and a measurement result is complete only when it is accompanied by a statement of the associated uncertainty. By international agreement, this uncertainty has a probabilistic basis and reflects incomplete knowledge of the quantity value. The "Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement", commonly known as the GUM, is the definitive document on this subject. The requirements for estimation of measurement uncertainty apply to all results provided by calibration laboratories and results produced by testing laboratories under the optional circumstances. In this paper, a procedure for estimation of measurement uncertainty from vibration testing is proposed on KS F 2868:2003 as an example. Both Type A and Type B evaluation of uncertainty are considered to calculate the combined standard uncertainty and expanded uncertainty.

On nonlinear vibration behavior of piezo-magnetic doubly-curved nanoshells

  • In this paper, nonlinear vibration behaviors of multi-phase Magneto-Electro-Elastic (MEE) doubly-curved nanoshells have been studied employing Jacobi elliptic function method. The doubly-curved nanoshell has been modeled by using nonlocal elasticity and classic shell theory. An exact estimation of nonlinear vibrational behavior of smart doubly-curved nanoshell has been obtained via Jacobi elliptic function method. This method can incorporate the influences of higher order harmonics leading to an exact estimation of nonlinear vibration frequency. It will be indicated that nonlinear vibrational frequency of doubly-curved nanoshell relies on nonlocal effect, material composition, curvature radius, center deflection and electro-magnetic field.

최소화된 계측 및 신호 처리 시스템을 이용한 상시진동 케이블의 효율적인 장력 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficient Tension Estimation of Cables under Ambient Vibration using Minimized Measurement and Signal Processing System)

  • 최근 계측 기술의 발달에 따라 종래의 복잡하고 시간 소모적인 현장 계측분석 작업을 단순하고 편리하게 만드는 작업이 가능해지고 있다. 이런 배경에서 이 논문에서는 최소화된 계측 및 신호처리를 통해 상시진동 케이블의 장력을 추정하는 문제에 대해 연구하였다. 최소화 계측 방법으로는 저가 영상장비로 촬영된 동영상만을 이용하는 영상 변위 계측을 구상하였다. 또한 이로 인한 유효 주파수 대역 부족 문제의 해결을 위해 미러 주파수를 이용한 고유진동수 추정 방법을 제시하였다. 더불어 현장 사용 성능과 관련한 상시진동 문제를 처리하기 위해 신호처리 및 고유진동수 추정법으로 FDD 방법이 채택되었다. 제안된 최소화 계측 시스템과 미러 주파수 개념의 특성 및 FDD 방법의 적용성을 보기 위하여 사장교 모형을 이용한 실험적 연구가 수행되었다. 실험 결과는 상시진동을 위한 FDD 방법이 최소화 시스템을 이용한 고유 진동수 판별에서도 효과적으로 잘 작동됨을 보여 주었다. 또한 미러 주파수 개념은 저속촬영에 따라 왜곡된 신호에서도 고주파수 영역에 있는 고유진동수 추정이 가능함을 보여 최소화 시스템의 한계돌파에 효과적임을 보여 주었다. 결론적으로 실험결과는 제안된 최소화 계측 및 신호처리 시스템이 상시진동 케이블 장력 추정에 효과적인 방법이 될 수 있음을 보여주었다.
