수직 리그를 이용한 임의시점 디지털 홀로그래픽 생성 시스템 구현 (System Implementation for Generating Virtual View Digital Holographic using Vertical Rig)

  • 본 논문에서는 3차원 입체 비디오처리 기술의 최종목표인 디지털 홀로그램을 생성하는데 필요한 객체의 좌표와 색상정보가 들어있는 같은 시점과 해상도인 RGB 영상과 깊이 영상을 획득하여 가상 시점의 디지털 홀로그램을 생성하는 시스템을 제안한다. 먼저, 가시광선과 적외선의 파장을 이용하여 파장에 따라 투과율이 달라지는 콜드 미러를 사용하여 각각의 시점이 같은 다시점 RGB와 깊이 영상을 얻는다. 카메라 시스템이 갖는 다양한 렌즈 왜곡을 없애기 위한 보정 과정을 거친 후에 해상도가 서로 틀린 RGB 영상과 깊이 영상의 해상도를 같게 조절한다. 그 다음, DIBR(Depth Image Based Rendering) 알고리즘을 이용하여 원하는 가상 시점의 깊이 정보와 RGB 영상을 생성한다. 그리고 깊이 정보를 이용하여 디지털 홀로그램으로 구현할 객체만을 추출한다. 마지막으로 컴퓨터 생성 홀로그램 (computer-generated hologram, CGH) 알고리즘을 이용하여 추출한 가상 시점의 객체를 디지털 홀로그램으로 변환한다.

수직 원형관내 자연대류 열전달에서 기하구조의 영향 (Influence of the Geometry on the Natural Convection Heat Transfer inside a Vertical Cylinder)

  • 파이프의 길이(Length)와 직경(Diameter), 거칠기(Roughness)에 변화를 주면서 수직 원형관내 자연대류 열전달을 측정하였다. 고부력 조건에 대한 높은 Rayleigh수를 구현하기 위하여 상사성에 기초한 물질전달실험을 수행하였다. Pr수는 2,014였다. 수직 원형관의 길이(L)는 0.1m, 0.3m, 0.5m였으며 이는 Gr수 $4.2{\times}10^7$, $1.1{\times}10^9$, $5.5{\times}10^9$에 해당한다. 각 수직 원형관에 대하여 직경(D)을 0.005m, 0.01m, 0.03m로 변화시키면서 열전달을 측정하였다. 실험결과 모든 직경(D)에 대해서 높이(L) 0.1m에서의 열전달 계수는 Le Fevre의 수직평판에 대한 층류 자연대류상관식과 일치하였다. 동일한 직경(D)에 대해서 길이(L)가 감소할수록 열전달이 증가하였다. 그리고 동일한 길이(L)에 대하여 직경(D)이 증가하였을 때는 열전달이 감소하였다. 파이프 내부 표면에 거칠기를 주어 일반 수직원형관과 열전달을 비교하였을 때, 층류영역에서는 열전달의 차이가 있었으나, 천이영역에서는 열전달 차이가 없었다.

융제법에 의한 RIG 단결정 육성 (Growth of RIG Single Crystals by Flux Technique)

  • Single crystals of rare-earth iron garnets were grown from solutions of molten lead oxide, lead fluoride, baric oxide, iron oxide, and the oxides of yttrium, samarium orgadolinium. The crystals were grown by slow cooling technique. A convenient composition was 41.8mol% PbO, 20.59mol% PbF2, 8.23mol% B2O3, 20.00mol% Fe2O3 and 10.00mol% R2O3 where R is Y, Sm or Gd. For this experiment, platinum crucibles of size 20, 30cc and a vertical siliconit tube furnace were used. The precipitation temperature of YIG was observed in the range of 115$0^{\circ}C$-112$0^{\circ}C$ and the optimum growth conditions in this experiment were determined. The nucleation rate was controlled by the holding time after the fast colling, the growth rate by the slow cooling conditiions. The form of the grown YIG crystals showed a combination of {110} and {211}, and the size of the crystals grown in this experiment was up to about 9mm under the conditions of holding time 16hour, cooling rate 2$^{\circ}C$/hr. and temperature range 115$0^{\circ}C$-90$0^{\circ}C$. The precipitatin temperature of SmIG was observed in the range of 105$0^{\circ}C$-98$0^{\circ}C$ and the size of the crystals grown in this experiment was up to about 5mm under the conditiions of holding time 16hours, cooling rate 2$^{\circ}C$/hr. and temperature range 100$0^{\circ}C$-80$0^{\circ}C$.

플랫 블레이드 윈드실드 와이퍼의 역전 진동 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Attenuation of Flip-over Vibration in the Flat Blade Windshield Wiper)

  • 플랫 블레이드 와이퍼의 블레이드의 누름압 분포를 조정하여 역전과정에서 발생되는 진동을 저감하는 방법을 제시하였다. 블레이드와 유리면 사이에 길이방향으로 불균일한 누름압 분포를 도입, 고무스트립에 점진적인 역전을 유도함으로써 역전과정에서 발생하는 충격력을 저감하였다. 블레이드 내의 바디스프링 형상을 이전 연구에서 제시된 방법을 통해 구해진 형태를 적용함으로써 누름압 분포를 조정하였다. 이 방법을 적용하여 전체 길이에 균일한 누름압과 불균일한 누름압을 발생시키는 두 종류의 블레이드를 개발한 다음 누름압을 측정하여 확인하였다. 두 블레이드에서 발생하는 수직방향 및 횡방향 진동을 측정 비교한 결과, 불균일한 누름압을 가진 블레이드가 균일한 누름압의 블레이드에 비해 훨씬 작은 수직방향 진동을 나타냄을 확인하였다.

  • Inconel 600 alloy is used as the material of nuclear steam generator tubing because of its mechanical properties, formability, and corrosion properties. According to reports, the life time of nuclear power plants decreases because of the pitting, intergranular attack, primary water stress corrosion cracking(PWSCC), and intergranular stress corrosion cracking(IGSCC), and denting in the steam generator. The SCC test is very important because of SCC appears in various environment such as solutions, materials, and stress. The C-Rig specimen was made of the steam generator welded sleeve repairing by the pulsed Nd:YAG laser. In the corrosion invironment, corrosion solutions are Primary Water, Caustic, and Sulfate solution and corrosion time is 1624-4877hr. The permitted stress is 30-60ksi.In this C-Ring SCC test is the relationship between corrosion depth, crack and corrosion environment is evaluated. SCC was happens in Sulfate and Corrosion solution but doesn't happen in Primary Water. The corrosion time and stress is very affected by the severely environment of Sulfate or Caustic solution. The microstructure observation indicates that SCC causes interganular failure in the grain boundary of vertical direction.

The use of the semi-empirical method to establish a damping model for tire-soil system

  • This paper proposes a linear damping model of tire-soil system using semi-empirical method. A test rig was designed and developed to measure the vertical equivalent linear damping ratio of tire only and tire-soil system using Free-Vibration Logarithmic Decay Method. The test was performed with two kinds of tractor tires using a combination of five inflation pressure levels, two soil depths and four soil moisture contents in the paddy soil. The results revealed that the linear damping ratio of tires increased with decreasing tire inflation pressure; the linear damping ratio of tire-soil system also increased with decreasing tire inflation pressure and increased with the increasing soil depth (observed at 80 and 120 mm). It also increased with a relative increase of soil moisture contents (observed at 37.9%, 48.8%, 66.7% and 77.4%). The results also indicated that the damping ratio of tire-soil system was higher than that of tire only. A linear damping model of tire-soil system is proposed as a damping model in parallel which is established based on experimental results and vibration theory. This model will have a great significance in study of tractor vibration.

한국형 고속전철의 주행조건에 따른 진동특성 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Vibration Characteristics due to the Running Conditions for Korean High Speed Train)

  • Korean High Speed Train (KHST) designed to operate at 350km/h has been tested on high speed line in JungBu site since it was developed in 2002. The dynamic performances of railway vehicle are generally stability, safety and ride comfort. The stability performance of KHST was proved that it is stable at 400Km/h through Roller Rig test. The safety and ride comfort need to be predicted the capability of it at 350km/h by the on-line test because KHST is testing at 300km/h up to now. Therefor, in this paper, the safety and ride comfort at 350km/h are predicted the performance using the acceleration results at 300kw/h and these results show that the KHST's dynamic performances are very good. Also, it illustrate the two cases occurred the abnormal vibration of KHST during some on-line tests. The first case is that the variation of vertical acceleration of wheel is analyzed when an abrasion occur on wheel. The second case is that the lateral acceleration of wheel, bogie and body are analyzed when the KHST is unstable at high speed. The occurrences of these special phenomena were due to the some faults of the suspension and braking systems and the faults were improved. In present, it is testing with safety.

미소해칭 전열관의 젖음률에 대한 실험적 상관식 (Experimental Correlation of Wettability for Micro-scale Hatched Tubes)

  • The objectives of this paper are to develop a new method of wettability mea-surement and to study the effect of surface roughness on the wettability in a $H_2O$/LiBr falling film absorber. Two absorber tubes with micro-scale roughness and a bare tube are tested in a falling film absorber installed in a test rig. Inlet solution temperature, concentration and mass flow rate are considered as key parameters. A new method is proposed to estimate the wettability of a tube by measuring a minimum mass flow rate to wet the tube completely. The wettability for the structured surfaces was higher than that for the bare tube. The wettability decreased linearly along the vertical location. The wettability increased with increasing the solution temperature and the solution mass flow rate. The experimental correlations of the wettability for the bare and the micro-hatched tubes were developed with error bands of$\pm20%\;and\;\pm10%$, respectively. This work can be used in the design of absorbers with micro-scale roughness.

표층처리를 위한 현장의 강도적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Applicability of Soil Strength for Surface Treatment)

  • 대부분의 항만구조물은 초연약 지반상에 축조되고 있으며 도로나 건물부지에는 지반개량이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 여러 사례연구를 통하여 표층처리후의 복토사례에 대하여 몇가지 고려사항을 언급하였다. 또한, 모래나 산토를 이용한 복토공법에 대하여 강도적용이 고려되었다. 국내 복토공법 토목섬유 인장강도는 15t/m, 복토두께는 1.6~3.1m, 점토지반의 표층강도는 $0.2{\sim}1.2t/m^2$이 대표적이다. 표층처리공 시공시 발생되는 지반교란, 점토유출, 장비전도 등의 사고를 최소화하기 위한 연구가 필요하다.

Research on the inlet preswirl effect of clearance flow in canned motor reactor coolant pump

  • For a pressurized water reactor power plant, the reactor coolant pump (RCP) is a kernel component. And for a canned motor RCP, the rotor system's properties determines its safety. The liquid coolant inside the canned motor RCP fills clearance between the metal shields of rotor and stator, forming a lengthy clearance flow. The influence of inlet preswirl on rotordynamic coefficients of clearance flow in canned motor RCP and their effects on the rotordynamic characteristics of the pump are numerically and experimentally investigated in this work. A quasi-steady state computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method has been used to investigate the influence of inlet preswirl. A vertical experiment rig has also been established for this purpose. Rotordynamic coefficients on different inlet preswirl ratios (IR) are obtained through CFD and experiment. Results show that the cross-coupled stiffness of the clearance flow would change significantly with inlet preswirl, but other rotordynamic coefficients would not change significantly with inlet preswirl. For the case of clearance flow between the stator and rotor cans, influence of inlet preswirl is not so significant as the IR is not large enough.
